Abstract

The system consists of wooden boards (1) placed near to each other, and butting against end posts (2). The posts connect with the boards by tongue and groove profiles (R). There are additional tongue (11) and groove (10) profiles (N) on the opposite faces of the posts to the boards which are asymmetric about their centreline. Additional retainers (8), driven into the boards through the end faces of the posts, using screws, pins, or nails, can also be provided. Corner posts with the tongue and groove profiling on two adjacent faces may be congruent with that of the frame.

Description

The invention relates to a plate-shaped component according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

A plate-shaped component made of wood is known from DE-U-9 001 552. It is made up of planks with profiling on the end faces and posts with profiling. The longitudinal profiles of the planks interlock, so that a number of adjacent planks result in a plate-shaped component. The end profile of the planks engages in the longitudinal profile of the posts, so that the planks are fixed against displacement in the direction of their longitudinal extent. To fix the planks in a direction perpendicular to this, holding means in the form of wooden dowels are provided. The profiles of the planks and posts are congruent so that the different parts touch along their entire cross-section. This results in a notch-free and thus smooth surface for the finished component. The posts have the same profile on the side facing away from the planks as on the side facing the planks. This has the disadvantage that several of these plate-shaped components cannot easily be combined to form larger units. In order to arrange two or more of these components in one plane, it is necessary to connect them by means of appropriately profiled intermediate pieces, which is very complex.

The invention has for its object to provide a plate-shaped component made of wood, which is inexpensive to manufacture and can be combined by simply assembling several of these components into larger arrangements.

The object is achieved with the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

In this design, the planks are enclosed on the end face by post-like frame parts and offer a fixed unit in which the planks do not slip. The profiles of the frame parts facing away from the planks are designed so that several of these components can be joined together in one plane without an intermediate strip. The tongue of one frame part engages in the groove of the other and vice versa. This doubles the effective profile depth compared to a simple groove profile, so that there is a particularly firm hold of this connection. The joining of these components can be repeated any number of times, so that very large constructions can be produced.

The development of the component according to claim 2 is particularly advantageous, since this creates a flat surface in the region of the center line of the frame, which can be used very easily to accommodate additional holding means for fastening the planks.

The use of a profiled corner post according to claim 3 is particularly advantageous for the formation of angular arrangements. Such a corner post allows in the simplest way an angular connection of prefabricated components, without having to specially design the profiles of the frame parts thereon. This particularly facilitates the assembly of the components and thus reduces costs. Only a few standardized parts need to be kept in stock in order to implement complex structures, which also reduces inventory costs.

As additional holding means for fastening the planks in the frame parts, screws, pins or nails reaching into the planks at the end have proven themselves. They are very inexpensive and particularly easy to assemble.

To additionally facilitate the assembly of the holding means, it has proven to be advantageous to mount the holding means in reduced through holes in the frame parts. This reliably prevents the frame parts from bursting when the holding means is screwed in without having to accept a significant loss in stability of the connection. On the other hand, the holding means is adequately held when the frame part is pushed through.

It has proven to be particularly advantageous to provide the subject matter of the invention with the features of claim 6. The finger-like profiling increases the contact area of the elements, which ultimately represents an enlarged adhesive area. In addition, the finger-like profile offers an increased friction fit, so that the nested elements already have an improved fit even without additional connecting means. The finger-like profiling can extend over a partial area or over the entire thickness of the component. The secured connection is finally achieved with the entered adhesive. Additional mechanical processing such as pre-drilling of mounting holes is not necessary.

The further development of the subject of the invention with the features of claim 7 is favorable. The trapezoidal design results in empty spaces in the teeth in its upper and lower region, into which the excess adhesive can swell when the elements are joined together. Only a thin adhesive film remains on the inclined surfaces of the toothing, which contributes to the increased strength. It is very advantageous if the inclined surfaces enclose an angle of 30 ° or less to the center line.

Finally, the use of the feature according to claim 8 is advantageous. The parts can be put together very easily as a result, which can also be carried out by auxiliary personnel because there is no need to pay attention to the alignment of the parts. In any case, the symmetry, exactly the same as how the planks are inserted, results in the fitting component.

A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained by way of example with reference to the drawings.

In Figure 1, several interconnected, plate-shaped components P are shown. Each plate-shaped component P consists of planks 1 arranged one above the other in a plane, which engage with one another along their longitudinal sides 1a by means of preferably double-groove or double-spring profiles, but are not shown in the drawing. On the upper edge 1b and on the lower edge 1c of the component P, the planks 1 are not profiled, so that the component P is delimited flatly at the top and bottom. Post-like frame parts 2 are provided along the end faces of the planks 1, the connection of which is discussed in the further figures. To form larger flat wall elements, a plurality of structural elements P are connected to one another on end faces 2a. An angular arrangement of these components P results from the connection of their end faces 3a to two mutually abutting surfaces of a corner post 3. The connections of the parts to one another are discussed in more detail in the following figures. With A is the section through two components P which are connected to one another on the end face. B denotes the cut through a corner connection.

Die Haltemittel 8 durchsetzen das Rahmenteil 2 in reduzierten Durchgangsbohrungen 9.Figure 2 shows a section through a flat connection of two plate-shaped components P along the section line A. The planks 1 have a profile R symmetrical to the center line M The center of this profile R is designed as a spring 4. In the two edge regions adjoining the spring 4, this profiling R has bevels 5. The frame parts 2 have, on the side facing the planks 1, a congruent profiling R, consisting of a central groove 6 and bevels 7. The planks 1 become front of Holding means 8 detected, which are designed for example as screws. The holding means 8 pass through the frame part 2 in reduced through holes 9.

Infolge der Phasen 12 entsteht an der Stoßfuge der Rahmenteile 2 je eine Kerbe 13.A tongue and groove profiling N is provided for connecting the two end faces of the frame parts 2 to one another. This is arranged antisymmetrically to the center line M. This tongue and groove profiling N has a groove 10 in one profile half and a tongue 11 in the other. The groove 10 and the tongue 11 are arranged at a constant distance a from one another. This results in a flat surface which extends symmetrically to the center line M and serves to receive the holding means 8. To the edges, the frame part 2 each has a phase 12 on joints, as shown, two frame parts 2 together, so the spring 11 of one frame part 2 engages in the groove 10 of the other frame part 2 and vice versa. This creates a firm connection of the two plate-shaped components P to one another. As a result of the phases 12, a notch 13 is formed at the butt joint of the frame parts 2.

From Figure 3, the construction of a corner connection, as required for the production of walls, is shown as a section along the section line B. The same reference numerals mean the same parts. Two plate-shaped components P, consisting of planks 1 and frame parts 2 are arranged at an angle of 90 ° to one another. In principle, the same components P are used both for face connections and for angled connections. For demonstration purposes only Different connections between screed 1 and frame part 2, the structure of the component P was changed in FIG. The tongue 4 and the groove 6 of the screed 1 and the frame part 2 each have a trapezoidal toothing Z. These trapezoidal toothing Z are formed by oblique surfaces S and by vertical surfaces F. The vertical surfaces F of the planks 1 are spaced from those of the frame parts 2. The planks 1 are fixed to the frame parts 2 on the inclined surfaces S by means of adhesive K. The tongue and groove profiles N of the frame parts 2 engage in congruent profiles of a corner post 3, the cross section of which is essentially square. In the embodiment shown, this corner post 3 has a corresponding tongue and groove profile N on two mutually abutting sides. To form more complicated structures, it is also conceivable that three or all four sides of the corner post 3 have a corresponding tongue and groove profile N. .
