Claims (15)

  1. Machine for removing pollution intended to cleanse stretches of water, in particular close to beaches, comprising means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants floating on the surface of the water, characterized in that :
       the said machine is a jet ski (2), the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants comprising at least two frames (7) arranged symmetrically either side of the hull (3) of the said jet ski (2),
       the said jet ski (2) is provided with a lifting device (4) enabling the said means (1) for trapping and storage to be brought to at least two distinct positions :
    - a first position for collecting the said pollutants, in which the said means (1) for trapping and storage are at least partially submerged ;
    - a second transit position, in which the said means (1) for trapping and storing the said pollutants are at least partially lifted out of the water,
       the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants are provided with a non-return flap valve (5) allowing, in the collecting position, pollutants to enter the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants when the velocity of the said jet ski (2) is positive or zero, removal of the said pollutants from the said means (1) for trapping and storage being prevented when the velocity of the said jet ski (2) is negative,
       the said jet ski has a false bow (14) channelling the said pollutants towards the said means (1) for trapping and storage.
  2. Machine for removing pollution according to claim 1, characterized in that the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants are provided with at least one bank (6) of fluid jets (15) disposed essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of movement of the said jet ski (2), it being possible to use the said jets to create a current enabling pollutants floating on the surface of the water to be propelled towards the said means (1) for trapping and storage.
  3. Machine for removing pollution according to either of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the said lifting device (4) has means enabling, in the transit position, the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants to be retracted along the hull (3) of the said jet ski.
  4. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises on the one hand means of retraction enabling, in the collecting position, the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants to be retracted in the event of collision with an obstacle, and on the other hand means of return enabling the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants to return to the collecting position, once the obstacle has been avoided.
  5. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that each of the said frames (7) is provided with a net (8) for recovering pollutants.
  6. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the said lifting device includes a horizontal rotating shaft (9) connecting the said frames (7) installed either side of the hull (3) of the said jet ski (2) to each other, the said horizontal rotating shaft (9) enabling the said lifting device (4) to bring the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants into the said first position for collecting pollutants and the said second transit position.
  7. Machine for removing pollution according to claim 6, characterized in that the said frames (7) are firmly attached to the said horizontal rotating shaft (9) by a lateral folding shaft (10) allowing the said frame (7) to be retracted against the hull (3) of the said jet ski (2), when the said means (1) for trapping and storage are in the transit position.
  8. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the said means of retraction consists on the one hand of a vertical retracting shaft (11) connecting each of the said frames (7) to the said horizontal rotating shaft (9), and in that the said means of return consists of a spring (12) bringing the said retracted frames (7) into the collecting position.
  9. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 3 to 8, characterized in that the said fluid jets (15) are inclined relative to the vertical so as to facilitate the creation of a current enabling the said pollutants to be propelled towards the said means for trapping and storage (1).
  10. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 3 to 9, characterized in that it is provided with means enabling the inclination and/or the force of the said fluid jets (15) to be varied.
  11. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 3 to 10, characterized in that the said fluid is selected from the group consisting of water, air and dispersant products.
  12. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 6 to 11, characterized in that the said lifting device (4) comprises at least one handle (16) firmly attached to the said horizontal rotating shaft (9) enabling the said device (4) to be placed in the said collecting position and the said transit position.
  13. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the said jet ski (2) has structural modifications selected from the group consisting of raising freeboards and replacing the saddle with a more comfortable seat.
  14. Machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the said frames (7) are each provided with a curved part (13), the said curved parts (13) forming, in the collecting position, the said false bow (14).
  15. Lifting device for the construction of a machine for removing pollution according to one of claims 1 to 14 characterized in that it has means for bringing the said means (1) for trapping and storage into at least two distinct positions :
    - a first position for collecting the said pollutants, in which the said means (1) for trapping and storage are at least partially submerged ;
    - a second transit position, in which the said means (1) for trapping and storing pollutants are at least partially lifted out of the water,
       the said means (1) for trapping and storage are provided with a non-return flap valve (5) allowing, in the collecting position, pollutants to enter the said means (1) for trapping and storage when the velocity of the said jet ski (2) is positive or zero, removal of the said pollutants from the said means (1) of collection and storage being prevented when the velocity of the said jet ski is negative.
