Claims (4)

  1. Arrangement for the movable suspension of block brake units for steering axles, or wheel sets of rail vehicles that are radially adjustable in a curved track, on the vehicle or bogie frame, and for supporting them in the longitudinal direction of the frame, characterised in that at the upper end (12) the block brake unit (1) is connected pivotably about an axis (14) substantially parallel to the axis (13) of the associated wheel (2) to the vehicle or bogie frame (5) and, approximately on a level with the wheel axis (13) and by means of a lateral coupling rod (15) extending substantially perpendicularly to the wheel axis (13), to the outer axle bearing housing (16) adjacent to the wheel (2).
  2. Arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the block brake unit (1) has a brake block holder (8) suspended in a pendulum manner by means of a suspension link (10), and in that at its upper end (20) remote from the brake block holder (8) the suspension link (10) is connected pivotably about the same axis (14) to the vehicle or bogie frame (5), as is the block brake unit (1).

Arrangement according to claim 2, characterised in that the block brake unit (1) has a parallel guide (11) for the brake block holder (8) which, at the upper end (21) remote from the brake block holder (8), is pivotably connected to the vehicle or bogie frame (5) about an axis (22) parallel to the common pivot axis (14) of the block brake unit (1) and the suspension link (10).
  4. Arrangement according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised by a console (23) screwed to the vehicle or bogie frame (5) on which the block brake unit (1) and possibly the suspension link (10) and possibly the parallel guide (1) are pivotably mounted.
