Eine solche Rotations-Bogendruckmaschine ist aus JP-SHO 3-12517 bekannt. Danach wird der Bogen an seiner Vorderkante von an dem Druckzylinder beweglich angeordneten und im Arbeitstakt der Maschine gesteuerten Klemmgreifern erfaßt und auf ganzer Länge an dem übergabepunkt vorbeigezogen, an dem der Bogen an die Wendetrommel übergeben wird, wobei an der Wendetrommel beweglich angeordnete Zangengreifer den Bogen an seiner Hinterkante erfassen, so daß der Bogen nunmehr mit seiner Hinterkante voraus um die Wendetrommel herumgeführt wird. Dabei stellt die registerhaltige Bogenübergabe ein sehr schwieriges Problem dar, weil dazu eine Bogenglättung auf dem als Speichertrommel fungierenden Druckzylinder erforderlich wäre. Mit bekannten Einrichtungen ist dies jedoch wegen der erforderlichen Mittel zur formateinstellung am Druckzylinder nicht erreichbar.Such a rotary sheet printing machine is known from JP-SHO 3-12517. Aus der DE 24 52 096 sind für den gleichen Zweck in einer Umführtrommel Drehsauger mit einer asymmetrisch angeordneten Saugöffnung vorgesehen, so daß eine Drehbewegung der Drehsauger zu einer Glättung des in Nähe seiner Hinterkante angesaugten und an der Vorderkante in einem Greifersystem gehaltenen Bogens in seitlicher Richtung und in Umfangsrichtung führt. In dieser Druckschrift sind auch mehrere Drehsauger in einer Reihe quer zur Maschinenlängsmitte nebeneinander und mit einem von der Maschinenlängsmitte nach außen größer werdenden Drehwinkel offenbart. Da die Klemmgreifer des Druckzylinders den Bogen an seiner Vorderkante sicher halten, kann bei dieser Glättbewegung gegebenenfalls eine geringe Relativbewegung zwischen den Saugdüsen und dem in seinem hinteren Bereich gegen die Wendetrommel angesaugten Bogen erfolgen. Die mit den Gummituchzylindern 1 und 2 zusammenwirkenden Druckzylinder 3 und 4 sind dagegen mit zweifach großem Nenndurchmesser ausgestattet. Zwischen den beiden doppelt großen Druckzylindern 3 und 4 der beiden aufeinanderfolgenden Druckwerke ist eine Wendetrommel 5 mit einem ebenfalls doppelt großen Durchmesser angeordnet. Die zu bedruckenden Bogen 6 werden in einem Bogenanleger 7 nacheinander durch das Klemmgreifersystem 8 des in Bogenlaufrichtung vorderen Druckzylinders 3 an ihrer Vorderkante erfaßt, durch den Druckspalt des in Bogenlaufrichtung vorderen Druckwerks transportiert und über die bei Schöndruck als Umführtrommel genutzte Wendetrommel dem zweiten Druckwerk zugeführt.
