Les ergots (5) sont en forme de V et sont solidarisés chacun par l'extrémité d'une branche (50) à la face inférieure du bord dudit couvercle (3), l'autre branche (51) étant libre ; les orifices (6) pratiqués dans le rebord plat (20) du contenant (2), partiellement en regard des ergots (5), sont tels que l'ergot (5) correspondant ne puisse y être introduit que grâce à l'élasticité de sa branche libre (51) qui se replie sur sa branche fixe (50), l'extrémité supérieure (52) de ladite branche libre (51) venant prendre appui contre la face inférieure du rebord (20) du contenant (2), bloquant le couvercle (3) en position de fermeture. <IMAGE>

Description

  • La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de fixation d'un couvercle sur une boîte en matière plastique, utilisable notamment pour les emballages destinés à la présentation et à la vente d'articles de moyennes et petites dimensions, en particulier d'articles de quincaillerie vendus à l'unité ou en lots, ledit emballage pouvant servir au rangement ultérieur de tels articles.
  • Des emballages de ce type doivent comporter un dispositif de fermeture réutilisable, qui soit inviolable lors de leur exposition à la vente, ou permette du moins de constater que l'emballage a été violé.
  • Il existe des emballages présentant ces caractéristiques, notamment celui décrit dans la demande de brevet français 91/03557 au nom de la Demanderesse, et qui comporte d'une part un dispositif de fermeture par emboîtage du couvercle sur la boîte, et d'autre part un dispositif d'inviolabilité constitué de picots, de type harpon, solidaires dudit couvercle, qui sont introduits à la fermeture dans des orifices pratiqués dans les bords de la boîte, et qu'il est nécessaire de sectionner pour enlever le couvercle lors de la première utilisation.
  • Ce dispositif présente toutefois l'inconvénient, lors de la réutilisation de l'emballage, d'une fermeture peu solide, susceptible de lâcher par exemple lors d'une chute de l'emballage.
  • La présente invention vise à remédier à cet inconvénient en proposant un dispositif de fixation d'un couvercle sur une boîte en matière plastique, destiné notamment aux emballages réutilisables, et présentant, outre les caractéristiques des emballages existants qui viennent d'être évoquées, l'avantage d'une solidarisation robuste du couvercle sur la boîte lors de sa réutilisation.
  • A cet effet, le dispositif selon l'invention comporte, sur les bords du couvercle, saillant de sa face interne, des ergots s'encliquetant dans un des orifices pratiqués en bordure du contenant.
  • Conformément à l'invention, chaque ergot est sensiblement en forme de V, solidarisé à la face interne du couvercle par l'extrémité d'une de ses branches, pointe du V dirigée vers le bas, l'autre branche étant libre.
  • Toujours conformément à l'invention, l'orifice pratiqué dans le bord du contenant pour accueillir un ergot est de forme rectangulaire et n'est pas disposé exactement en regard dudit ergot, de manière que, lors de l'introduction de celui-ci, ladite introduction ne puisse s'effectuer que grâce à l'élasticité de la branche libre dudit ergot, dont l'extrémité, après introduction, se trouve disposée contre la face inférieure du bord du contenant, bloquant ainsi le couvercle en position de fermeture.
  • L'ouverture du couvercle peut s'effectuer en exerçant une traction jusqu'à ce que la branche libre de l'ergot s'efface.
  • Les avantages et les caractéristiques de la présente invention ressortiront plus clairement de la description qui suit et qui se rapporte au dessin annexé, lequel en représente un mode de réalisation non limitatif.

    • la figure 1 représente une vue en perspective d'un emballage dont le couvercle est clos au moyen d'un dispositif de fermeture selon l'invention.
    • la figure 2 représente une vue partielle en perspective, avec arraché partiel, de l'emballage de la figure 1 lorsqu'il est ouvert.
    • la figure 3a représente une vue en coupe verticale et longitudinale du dispositif de fermeture selon l'invention, avant solidarisation du couvercle au contenant.
         la figure 3b représente une vue en coupe verticale et longitudinale du même dispositif après solidarisation du couvercle au contenant.
  • Si on se réfère à la figure 1 on peut voir qu'un emballage 1 selon l'invention est constitué d'un contenant 2 sur lequel est ajusté un couvercle 3.
  • Le contenant 2 tel que représenté comporte, bordant son ouverture, un rebord 20 plat sur lequel s'encastre le rebord en creux 30 d'un couvercle 3.
  • Ce couvercle 3 comporte des lignes de pliage 31 permettant des ouvertures partielles de l'emballage 1. Non loin de chacune de ces lignes de pliage 31 et aux extrémités, le couvercle 3 est solidarisé au contenant 2 au moyen du dispositif de fermeture 4 selon l'invention.
  • Si on se réfère maintenant à la figure 2 on peut voir qu'un dispositif de fermeture 4 comporte d'une part un ergot 5 solidaire du rebord 30 du couvercle 3 à sa face inférieure et d'autre part un orifice 6 pratiqué dans le rebord 20 du contenant 2.
  • L'ergot 5 est sensiblement en forme de V dont l'extrémité d'une branche 50 est solidarisée à la face inférieure du rebord 30, l'extrémité de l'autre branche 51 étant libre.
  • Si on se réfère également aux figures 3a et 3b on peut voir que les dimensions et la position de l'orifice 6 sont telles que l'introduction de l'ergot 5 n'est réalisable que grâce à l'élasticité de la branche 51 qui peut se replier sur la branche 50.
  • Ainsi, lors de l'introduction de l'ergot 5 dans l'orifice 6, la branche 51 se replie sur la branche 50 puis, une fois le rebord 20 dépassé, reprend sa forme initiale, son extrémité supérieure 52 venant prendre appui contre la face inférieure dudit rebord 20, bloquant le couvercle 3 en position de fermeture. L'ouverture de l'emballage 1 ne peut ensuite se faire qu'en exerçant une traction importante sur le couvercle 3, traction qui a pour effet d'écarter la branche 51 de la branche 50 et de permettre son passage par l'orifice 6.
  • Il va de soi que la présente invention ne saurait être limitée à la description qui précède d'un de ses modes de réalisation, susceptible de subir un certain nombre de modifications sans pour autant sortir du cadre de l'invention.
  • Ainsi, afin de garantir l'inviolabilité de l'emballage lors de sa présentation à la vente, ledit emballage pourra être muni subsidiairement de picots solidaires de la face supérieure du rebord du contenant, destinés à être introduits dans des orifices pratiqués dans le rebord du couvercle et écrasés thermiquement, et qu'il y aura lieu de couper pour pouvoir ouvrir l'emballage.

Claims (1)

  1. Dispositif de fixation d'un couvercle (3) sur un contenant (2) en matière plastique, du type comportant des ergots (5) encliquetés dans des orifices (6), caractérisé d'une part en ce que les ergots (5) sont en forme de V et sont solidarisés chacun par l'extrémité d'une branche (50) à la face inférieure du bord dudit couvercle (3), l'autre branche (51) étant libre ; et d'autre part en ce que les orifices (6) pratiqués dans le rebord plat (20) du contenant (2), partiellement en regard des ergots (5), sont tels que l'ergot (5) correspondant ne puisse y être introduit que grâce à l'élasticité de sa branche libre (51) qui se replie sur sa branche fixe (50), l'extrémité supérieure (52) de ladite branche libre (51) venant prendre appui contre la face inférieure du rebord (20) du contenant (2), bloquant le couvercle (3) en position de fermeture.
