Description

The present invention relates to a packaging case forming a cardboard display, and, in particular, the type of box which is formed of two detachable elements, one of which constitutes a display tray, once the other element, constituting the upper part. from the box, removed.

This type of box is known, in particular from patent DE 2,116,726 or from patent application DE 3,940,872. The box is formed from two cardboard plates, each of which is cut and folded so as to alternately define panels. transverse and longitudinal panels, extended on one side by flaps forming a flap. The two plates overlap by their respective panels, and are linked to each other by gluing so as to compose a single plate with four panels bordered on each side by flaps. From this plate, an American box-type box is produced by joining the two end panels together to form a belt, and by folding the flaps at 90 ° to form the two bottom walls. The panels of one of the plates have a low height compared to those of the other plate and constitute the walls of the display tray. The connection points between the two plates are such that they allow easy separation of the two elements.

In the embodiment described in DE 3 940 872, where the two plates are linked to each other by means of dots of adhesive at the level of tabs formed by cutouts along the upper edge of the panels of the tray, the operation of separation of the upper part of the box is relatively difficult because the user does not have a plug allowing him to pull on the tabs and tear the attachment points. In addition, after separation, the tray does not have a clean appearance due to these tabs that must be torn.

A first object of the invention is therefore to propose a packaging case display according to the prior art but not having the drawbacks mentioned above.

This object is achieved by the fact that the cardboard display packaging box, of the type composed of two separable elements inserted one inside the other, one of which forms a display tray, each element being produced from a cardboard plate cut and grooved so as to provide panels defining the side walls of the box, bordered by flaps respectively constituting the upper and lower bottom walls, the two elements being connected by means for their separation, said means being constituted by at least one portion of detachable panel precut in one of said panels of the tray-forming element and integral with the corresponding wall of the other element, characterized in that said portion of the panel is precut along a closed line away from the upper edge of said panel.

According to a particular embodiment, a light is cut in the corresponding wall of the other element above said panel portion and extends above the upper edge of the tray element, in order to allow sliding. an inch behind the wall of the tray and facilitate detachment of the panel portion by exerting pressure on it.

According to a preferred embodiment, two of said means are provided, one on each of the panels forming the longitudinal wall of the tray.

Another object of the invention is to provide a means allowing better retention of the second plate on the first, once the fixing operations have been carried out.

This object is achieved by the fact that an additional tongue is precut on the upper edge of a third panel of the first plate to form a third point of attachment of the second plate.

Another object is to provide means which make it possible to ensure, inside the box, surface continuity without detachment or without attachment point.

This object is achieved by the fact that the adhesive tab of the belt forming the tray is inserted into a corresponding cutout of the adjacent panel of the other element.

  • la figure 1 représente une vue en perspective de la caisse une fois assemblée ;
  • la figure 2 représente une vue de dessus de la première plaque après les opérations de découpe ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear more clearly on reading the description below made with reference to the appended drawings in which:
  • Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the body once assembled;
  • 2 shows a top view of the first plate after the cutting operations;
  • FIG. 3 represents a top view of the second plate after the cutting operations.

The invention will now be described in conjunction with FIGS. 1 to 3. The box shown in FIG. 1, generally of the American box type, comprises two elements inserted one inside the other, namely an upper part (2) of which the walls are adjacent and internal to those of a lower part (1) in the form of a display tray.

These elements are produced, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, with plates of semi-rigid material such as corrugated cardboard cut and grooved to form, for the lower part (1), a plate made up alternately of longitudinal panels ( 11, 13) and transverse panels (12, 14) which extend towards the lower part by flaps (15, 16, 17, 18). A groove (10) allows the folding of the flaps. These shutters are respectively separated from each other by a first cut (156) between the shutters (15, 16), a second cut (167) between the shutters (16, 17), a third cut (178) between the shutters ( 17, 18). The longitudinal panel (11) is extended by a bonding tab (19). The end panel (14) comprises near its upper edge a tongue (141) obtained by a precut opening on the upper edge. Similarly, the longitudinal panels (11, 13) comprise oblong-shaped panel portions (111, 131), precut along a closed line located at a distance from the edge. These panel portions can be easily detached. By precut is meant the formation of aligned perforations so as to provide them with attachment points of low resistance to tearing.

La deuxième plaque (2) formant la partie supérieure de la caisse est également constituée alternativement de panneaux longitudinaux (21, 23) et de panneaux transversaux (22, 24).The second plate (2) forming the upper part of the body is also alternately made up of longitudinal panels (21, 23) and transverse panels (22, 24).

These longitudinal and transverse panels are extended on their upper edge by flaps (25, 27), respectively (26, 28), separated from these panels by a groove (20). The adjacent flaps (25, 26) are separated from each other by a first cut (256), the adjacent flaps (26, 27) are separated by a second cut (267) and the adjacent flaps (27, 28) are separated by a third cut (278). The two longitudinal panels (21, 23) also each have an oblong recess (211, 231) and arranged in a direction perpendicular to the lower edge of this second plate, that is to say perpendicular to the axis of symmetry. pre-cut panel portions (131, 111) of the first plate (1). These recesses are arranged at a distance from the lower edge of the second plate sufficient so that, when the first plate is superimposed on the second plate, the openings are only partially closed by the upper edges (112, 132) and are located near precuts (131, 111) of the first plate of the latter.

The longitudinal and transverse panels of the second plate (2) are also separated from each other by grooves which terminate on the lower edge of this second plate by a first notch (212) between the longitudinal panel (21) and the panel. transverse (22), a second notch (223) between the transverse panel (22) and the longitudinal panel (23), and a third notch (234) between the longitudinal panel (23) and the side panel (24). The height of these notches (212, 223, 234) corresponds substantially to the height of the longitudinal (11, 13) and transverse (12, 14) panels of the first plate (1). They are intended to facilitate the shaping of the belt of the body.

The second plate (2) is extended on the extreme side panel (24) by a bonding tab (241) which is intended to be bonded to the internal face of the longitudinal panel (21) of the same plate, this bonding tab ( 241) being formed only on the part of the plate (2) which exceeds the height of the first plate. The end of the side panel (24) has a notch (249) whose height and width correspond substantially to the height and width of the bonding tab (19) of the first plate so that the thickness of this first plate can be housed in this notch (249) when the first and second plates are shaped in the body.

The assembly is carried out manually or mechanically as follows.

The second is placed on the first plate so as to match the longitudinal panels and the transverse panels after depositing glue dots on the precuts (111, 131, 141).

Cette dernière vient se loger dans l'espace laissé libre par l'encoche (249) formée sur la deuxième plaque (2).The lower edges (215, 225, 235, 245) of the second plate (2) are located at the level of the groove line (10) of the first plate. The resulting plate is then folded back on itself so as to form a belt whose walls of the first plate are external. The tab (241) is glued to the end of the plate (21) and the tab (19) is glued to the inner end of the panel (14). The latter is housed in the space left free by the notch (249) formed on the second plate (2).

Once the belt is mounted, the body is put into volume by opening the parallelepiped and folding the flaps.

It will be understood that a case has thus been produced which can be separated into two elements, the first (1) forming a display with its bevelled panels (112, 132). When we want to separate the display part (1) from the upper upper part (2), we introduce the thumbs into the recesses (231, 211) and we pull the longitudinal panels (13, 11) outwards by exerting pressure on the precut panel portions (112, 131) of the tray so as to tear the points of attachment of the precuts and thus ensure the separation of the two elements. By lifting up the upper part (2), the precut tab (141) also tears, and the tray is released, thus forming a display (1) which has the advantage of having cutouts (111, 131) constituting grips.

Claims (7)

  1. Display packing case made of cardboard, of the type composed of two separable elements inserted one into the other, one of which forms a display container, each element being produced from a sheet of cardboard (1, 2) cut and grooved so as to arrange panels (11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24) defining the lateral walls of the case, bordered by flaps (15, 16, 17, 18, 25, 26, 27, 28) respectively constituting the top and bottom walls, the two elements being joined by means which permit their separation, the said means being constituted by at least one detachable panel portion (111, 131) pre-cut in one of the said panels of the element forming the container and integral with the corresponding wall of the other element, characterized in that the said panel portion is pre-cut according to a closed line at a distance from the top edge of the said panel.
  2. Case according to Claim 1, characterized in that an aperture (211, 231) is cut in the corresponding wall of the other element above the said panel portion (111, 131), and extends above the top edge of the element forming the container.
  3. Case according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that two of the said means are provided, one on each of the panels forming longitudinal wall of the container.
  4. Case according to Claim 3, characterized in that an additional tongue (141) is pre-cut on the top edge of a third panel (14) of the container to form a third fixing point.
  5. Case according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the bonding tab (241) of the belt of the element forming the container comes to be inserted in a corresponding cut-out of the adjacent panel of the other element.
  6. Case according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the first sheet comprises top edges (112, 132) in bevel shape.
  7. Case according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cut-outs (111, 131) of the first sheet (1) are shaped to form handles after removal of the internal part of the cut-out of the first sheet (1).
