Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a packaging made of paper material, in particular for free-flowing goods, preferably for washing powder, with a lower container part with a bottom and with side walls, and with a lid which engages over the side walls of the lower container part with cover walls and with one of its cover walls to one Rear wall of the lower container part is articulated, with a tear tape being glued to the inside of the two side walls and the front wall of the packaging, with which the material of these three walls can be separated from one another along a horizontal line with the aid of a pull tab, so that the lid is folded up and can be closed again, and with a lanyard to carry the packaging.

Conventional packaging with the features mentioned have a handle made of a plastic band which is riveted to the side walls of the lower container part. However, these known packages have the disadvantage that they use a total of three different materials, namely the paper material for the actual packaging, the plastic carrying strap and finally the two metal rivets for the articulation of the pivoting handle on the side walls of the packaging. Mono disposal is therefore not possible with these known packaging.

In contrast, the object of the invention is to design a packaging of this type in such a way that mono disposal is possible without the serviceability of the packaging suffering as a result.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the lanyard is also made of paper material and Lid is attached and that a locking tab is provided in the upper region of the front wall of the lower container part, which can be inserted into a slot on the lid.

The fastening for the carrying handle (carrying strap) is thus moved from the lower part of the container into the lid and the carrying strap can therefore also be made from paper material. The ends of the carrying strap are glued to the lid so that the carrying strap no longer has to be pivoted, as was the case with the prior art plastic carrying straps riveted to the lower lid part. A pivoting of the carrying strap made of paper material could cause the strap to tear and for this reason, according to the invention, the carrying strap is attached to the lid.

If one now carries the (filled) packaging after it has been opened by actuating the tear tape, then a suitable locking of the lid on the lower packaging part must be ensured here and the locking tab according to the invention is provided for this.

The carrying strap made of the paper material together with its attachment to the lid as well as the associated locking tab, which locks the lid again on the lower part of the container, thus solve the object of the invention.

The slot in the lid should on the one hand be easy for the consumer to create and on the other hand the material of the lid in the area of the slot on the inside should not be damaged so that the washing powder cannot get out through perforations which form the slot. Also, when the packaging is closed, moisture should not be able to get inside the packaging because washing powder is known to be hygroscopic. For this reason, it is preferred if the slot in the cover is punched from the outside, so that the inner wall of the paper material remains intact. The consumer then presses the material in the area of the thumb Punching through and thus creates the slot into which the locking tab is then inserted for reclosing.

To increase the stability of the packaging and also for the attachment of the locking tab, it is preferred if the packaging has two cuts, namely an outer cut that forms the bottom, all walls and the lid of the packaging, and an inner cut that covers all walls and the Forms locking tab, and which rests on the inside of the walls of the outer panel.

The locking tab is preferably folded onto the outside of the inner blank. After the packaging has been torn open by the consumer, the locking tab can therefore be easily gripped and furthermore, in this preferred embodiment, the locking tab does not hinder the filling of the packaging.

Furthermore, it is preferred if the locking tab is connected to the material of the relevant wall of the inner blank via lateral perforations. The perforations increase the tightness of the packaging compared to possible side cuts.

For the lanyard made of the paper material, it is preferred if an elongated cutout is provided in the lid, if a carrying cut, also made of paper material, is glued to the inside of the lid, and if the lanyard, which is the cutout, is glued to the outside of the carrying cut reaches through.

So that the lanyard has the necessary length to be carried, but the lanyard can still lie flat against the lid and then takes up little space, it is preferred if the lanyard is folded on itself.

First of all, the essential cut parts from which a packaging according to the invention consists will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

Fig. 1 shows the outer cut, which has a rear wall 1, a right side wall 2, a front wall 3 and a left side wall 4. An adhesive flap 5 is articulated to the free edge of the rear wall 1 and is glued to the other end of the side wall 4, as indicated by the adhesive zone 6.

Bottom flaps 7 are hinged to the lower edges of walls 1-4, and top flaps 8 - 11 are hinged to their upper edges - from left to right - and walls 1-4.

The inner blank shown in Fig. 2 has a rear wall 31, followed by a left side wall 32, in turn followed by a front wall 33 and finally a right side wall 34. (The right and left side walls in the blanks according to FIGS. 1 and 2 can of course also be interchanged with one another; these expressions are only used here in order to be able to distinguish the side walls from one another.)

The inner blank according to FIG. 2 is placed on the inside of the outer blank according to FIG. 1, so that the corresponding walls overlap. Preferably, both blanks are glued together in this state, for example the side walls 2 and 32 are glued together. (The side wall 34 is formed in two parts here and both parts are glued together to form a square ring via an adhesive zone 12, just as is the case with the blank according to FIG. 1.)

From the outside, the cover flap 10 is stamped approximately semicircularly, as indicated at item 13.

In the cover flap 8, an elongated cutout 14 is provided, which serves for the passage of a carrying strap, as will be explained in more detail below.

Approximately in the upper quarter of the walls 1-4, a tear tape 5 is glued to the inside of this outer cut according to FIG. 1, which is made of tear-resistant material, either of plastic material or of paper material. At one end, the tear tape ends in a grip tab 16.

The two blanks 21, 22 are glued together, as indicated at item 23, with the ends 24 of the carrying strap 20 between the two blanks 21, 22 inserted and are also glued there with these blanks. This creates a stable construction and Fig. 4 also shows that the lanyard at item 25 can be folded on itself.

Fig. 6 shows that the lanyard 20 extends through the cutout 14 from below and can then be gripped to carry the packaging from above, for which purpose the cutout 14 is widened in the middle.

The perspective view of the lower packaging part according to FIG. 5 is to be mentally supplemented by the cover according to FIG. 6, which is articulated on the rear edge 26 of the lower part according to FIG. 5.

The unfolded packaging is filled with washing powder and sealed at the manufacturer. The consumer opens the packaging by using the handle tab 16 to cut through the material of the walls 2, 3 and 4. (In order not to also cut through the material of the rear wall 1, which is not intended, the tear tape 15 can be severed at the fold line between the walls 1, 2 or the tear tape extends only over the walls 2, 3 and 4.)

Now the packaging can be opened by folding up the lid, a fold line forming at the level of the tear tape 15 in the rear wall 1. This fold line can also be pre-embossed there. The consumer can therefore remove the goods in the packaging, generally washing powder, from the packaging. Then he can do the packaging close again, for which he grips the locking tab 17, which is freely accessible from the front, and inserts it into the slot 13 in the lid. Before doing this, he must cut the material of the punch 13 with his thumb so that the locking tab can be inserted with its front end into the slot. Now the packaging is closed again and the packaging can also be carried in this closed state with the aid of the carrying strap 20. Of course, this also applies to the sealed state of the packaging, so that the material of the walls 2, 3, 4 has not yet been severed with the aid of the tear tape 15.

It can thus be seen that the entire packaging consists of monomaterial, namely a suitable paper material. With the exception of the carrying tape 20, corrugated cardboard material is preferably used for this. At most the tear tape 15 is made of plastic material, but the tear tape can also consist of a suitable paper material. This is harmless because the tear tape can be separated from the packaging and then disposed of separately, or the plastic tape (tear strip) can be mechanically sorted out effortlessly during the dissolving process of the waste paper.
