Es ist bekannt, das Laufrad einer Kreiselpumpe ringsum von feststehenden Leitschaufeln umgeben zu lassen. Soll eine solche Kreiselpumpe selbstansaugend sein, so ist bekannt, die vorderen inneren Kanten der Leitschaufeln sehr nahe am Umfang des Laufrades anzuordnen, siehe z.B. das Dokument GB-A-976 114. Dies fuhrt aber zu einer verhältnismaßig großen Geräuschentwicklung. Soll dagegen eine Kreiselpumpe mit geringen Geräuschen geschaffen werden, so haben die feststehenden Leitschaufeln einen größeren Abstand zum Laufradumfang. In diesem Fall ist aber die Pumpe nicht mehr selbstansaugend. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Kreiselpumpe der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, die bei geringer Geräuschentwicklung selbstansaugend ist.It is known to have the impeller of a centrifugal pump all around surrounded by fixed guide vanes.
