Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a guidance protection system, in particular for securing traffic routes, wherein the guidance protection system has a plurality of identically designed and arranged in a row interconnected guide bases which can be arranged at an obtuse or extended angle to one another, the respective guide base in the region of one end a first approach and in the area of the opposite end is provided with a second approach and the connection of adjacent guide bases takes place overlapping in the area of the approaches of the guide bases.
Such guidance systems are used in particular to secure traffic routes. The term traffic routes is widely understood. For example, the control system can protect excavation pits or secure construction sites serve, also find use to narrow roads, for example to reduce speed, also to separate lanes, to separate areas in squares, for example at weekly markets, continue in the form of planting islands or planters that are set up in the area of traffic routes and out of EP 0 509 144 A1 are known, etc.
A guidance system of the type mentioned is known from EP-A-0 385 950. In this case, the respective guide base is formed symmetrically on the floor perpendicular to its support plane, the two approaches being cylindrical and extending over the lower half of the guide base. The cylinders have through holes in the area of the cylinder axes. The guide protection system is assembled by placing a first guide base with its two lugs in such a way that they rest on the floor and the next guide base is rotated by 180 ° to it, that is, with the lugs on top of it, placed on the assigned attachment of the guide base that has already been laid is, whereby the central area of the placed base, thus the area between the two approaches of this base, comes to lie on the floor. A mandrel is inserted into the aligned holes in the neighboring guide base, which connects them. If the length of the mandrel is appropriate, it is also possible to drive it into the ground. The connection of the further guide bases is carried out in the manner described above, that is to say that adjacent guide bases are rotated and placed in relation to one another in each case about the horizontal axis.
In the known guide protection system, the guide bases are made of concrete. This makes it possible to securely connect the individual guide bases by means of a mandrel, without fear of impact on the guide protection system that the connection of the guide bases tears or the guide bases break. However, the material used requires considerable assembly effort, and this also applies due to the use the spikes for connecting the guide base. Finally, the guidance protection system presents itself to the viewer as a less homogeneous structure because, viewed from the side, parallelepiped-shaped central sections of the respective guidance base alternate with the cylindrical projections adjacent to it.
It is an object of the present invention to further develop a guide protection system of the type mentioned so that it can be constructed in a structurally simple manner and is designed to be visually appealing and has a high durability under impact, regardless of the material used.
The problem is solved in a guide protection system of the type mentioned in that the first approach of the one guide base is provided with a pin, the pin axis of which extends perpendicular to the support plane of the guide base on the floor, and the second approach of the adjacent guide base with a recess for play-free reception of the pin is provided in this, and the adjacent end faces of adjacent guide bases have complementarily curved surfaces, the center of the curvature of which coincides with the longitudinal axis of the assigned pin or the assigned recess.
It is essential in the present invention that, owing to the pin attached to the respective guide base and the recess in the guide base, it is not necessary to provide separate elements for connecting adjacent guide bases. To form the guide protection system, it is only necessary to insert the one guide base with its pin into the receptacle of the adjacent guide base, the play-free receiving of the pin in the recess ensuring that interconnected guide bases are not displaced relative to one another in the support plane of the guide base, but only can be pivoted to each other in the support plane. The play-free reception is ensured, for example, by a corresponding adaptation of the diameter of the pin to the diameter of the recess, which is only slightly larger than the diameter of the pin so that the pin, inserted without great frictional resistance, is kept radially free of play. The pin can be cylindrical in shape or also in the form of a truncated cone with a corresponding design of the recess. Due to the mounting of the pin assigned to one guide base in the recess of the adjacent guide base, these can be pivoted relative to one another. In order to ensure, in spite of this pivotability, that the guide bases can be arranged as close as possible to one another in the region of the facing end faces, the invention provides that the facing end faces of the guide bases have complementary curved surfaces, whose center of curvature with the longitudinal axis of the assigned pin or the assigned recess coincides. This geometric arrangement with the cited center of curvature makes it possible to place the adjacent guide bases with a minimal gap between their facing end faces, regardless of the angular position which the adjacent guide bases assume with respect to one another.
The inventive design of the guide base forming the guide system allows them to be simply inserted into one another because of the arrangement of the pins and recesses and thus easy to assemble. Due to the flowing transitions between the adjacent guide bases, these have a harmonious overall picture, the curved, complementary end faces of adjacent guide bases ensuring high durability in the event of impact, because the complementary surfaces interact and are supported against one another by impact, in particular when exposed to a motor vehicle.
According to a particular embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that the first extension is formed by an extension section and the pin, and the second extension rests on the floor, and the extension section of the first extension is arranged at a distance from the floor in accordance with the height of the second extension. With this design, the lower, second section of the respective guide base has the at least upwardly open recess through which the downward-facing pin arranged on the upper extension portion of the other guide base passes. If the recess also widens conically upwards, this design ensures particularly easy assembly of the guide protection system, since the recess widening upwards can be seen by the person installing it and the correspondingly conical pin automatically moves in when the guide base assigned to it is inserted centered in the recess, so that the two adjacent guide bases, apart from their angular position, are clearly positioned relative to one another.
A special design of the guide protection system provides that the cross section of the respective guide base tapers in the direction of the end facing away from the floor. In the case of a relatively narrow upper area of the respective guide base, the formation of the complementarily curved surfaces can be limited to the remaining lower area of the end faces, but the upper, narrow areas of the guide base are also preferably not flat on the end face, but also have the curvature.
The guide base can be plugged together to form a row or a closed structure. In the latter case, the ring formed in this way can represent the outer boundary of a plant island.
Recycled plastic is considered the preferred material for the guide base. This enables the respective guide base to have sufficient strength, in particular in the region of the journal and the recess.

As can be seen from the illustration in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
The guide protection system according to the invention is formed in a row or in a ring by inserting several of the guide bases shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 into one another. Thus, a
