Definitions
- the invention relates to a washing device for a printing machine for cleaning the surface of cylindrical bodies (rollers or cylinders), e.g. for cleaning the surface of the blanket of a blanket cylinder.
- a washing device essentially consists of a wipe roller and a wipe roller for receiving a wash cloth which is soaked with washing liquid and is pulled off the wipe roller to the wipe roller.
- a pressure element e.g. a washing roller or a membrane part to which compressed air can be applied.
- the washcloth must always be kept under tension, otherwise it will sag, form loops or can be pulled into the press.
- Such a washing device is known for example from DE 3 005 469 C2.
- the take-up roller dirty cloth roller
- the take-up roller gradually pulls the wash cloth off the fresh cloth roller.
- a washing cloth feeder which is intended to prevent the washing cloth from folding up or sagging.
- the supply of washcloth is controlled by means of a spring element and a braking device.
- a coil spring is arranged as a spring element with one end on a sleeve, which concentrically, frictionally wraps around the freshener roller shaft, and fixed at the other end to a fixed support. The spring is stretched by a defined amount during the transport of the washcloth this prevents the formation of wrinkles or sagging of the washcloth.
- a brake shoe engages the shaft of the fresh cloth roller and controls the cloth feed.

- the washcloth 4 is guided by the wiping roll 2 in the greatest possible wrap angle over the washing roll 5 in the pulling direction Z of the dirty cloth roll 6.
- a spring band freewheel 3 is arranged on an exposed end of the shaft 1 of the fresh cloth roller 2 between the bearing point in the associated side part, for example position 9 and the supply of washing cloth 4.
- the spring band freewheel 3 consists in the present example of a torsion spring. This wraps non-positively around the shaft 1, including the spring end 11.
- the other end 12 is supported on a fixed frame part, for example the cross member 7.
- the winding direction of the torsion spring is designed such that the inner diameter of the torsion spring increases when the shaft 1 is rotated in the pulling direction Z.
- the spring band freewheel 3 designed as a torsion spring, non-positively wraps around the shaft 1 of the fresh cloth roller and locks, due to frictional engagement, the shaft 1 in the opposite direction to the pulling direction Z.
- the wash cloth 4 is wetted via a washing liquid supply (not shown).
- a drive A is introduced onto the dirty cloth roller 6 via shaft 13 and gearwheel 14.
- the dirty cloth roller 6 is operated intermittently and pulls the wash cloth 4 from the fresh cloth roll 2 over the wash roll 5, which brings the wash cloth 4 into contact with the cylindrical body 10 to be cleaned, in the pulling direction Z and takes up the wash cloth 4 on shaft 13.
- the torsion spring is opened by the transport of the washcloth 4 in the pulling direction 7 caused by the shaft 13.
- the inner diameter of the torsion spring is increased when the shaft 1 is rotated because the end 12 is fixed.
- the tension of the washcloth decreases, so that the frictional torque of the spring band freewheel 3 increases until the shaft stands still (blocked position).
- the spring end of the spring band freewheel 3 can be supported on an adjacent side part 8, 9 or an adjacent shaft, such as the dirty cloth roller 6.
- the spring band freewheel 3 preferably has a circular or rectangular cross section.
- the surface of the shaft 1 can have a wear-resistant coating in the area of the spring band freewheel 3.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a washing device for a printing machine for cleaning the surface of cylindrical bodies (rollers or cylinders), e.g. for cleaning the surface of the blanket of a blanket cylinder. Such a washing device essentially consists of a wipe roller and a wipe roller for receiving a wash cloth which is soaked with washing liquid and is pulled off the wipe roller to the wipe roller. In order to press the washcloth onto the cylindrical body, a pressure element, e.g. a washing roller or a membrane part to which compressed air can be applied. The washcloth must always be kept under tension, otherwise it will sag, form loops or can be pulled into the press.
Such a washing device is known for example from DE 3 005 469 C2. Via a ball drive, drive shaft and one-way clutch, the take-up roller (dirty cloth roller) gradually pulls the wash cloth off the fresh cloth roller.
Furthermore, from EP 0 479 403 A2 a washing cloth feeder is known which is intended to prevent the washing cloth from folding up or sagging. The supply of washcloth is controlled by means of a spring element and a braking device. A coil spring is arranged as a spring element with one end on a sleeve, which concentrically, frictionally wraps around the freshener roller shaft, and fixed at the other end to a fixed support. The spring is stretched by a defined amount during the transport of the washcloth this prevents the formation of wrinkles or sagging of the washcloth. A brake shoe engages the shaft of the fresh cloth roller and controls the cloth feed.
The disadvantage of these solutions is that a high outlay (large number of components) is required to control the tension and the transport of the washcloth.
From EP 0 435 269 B1 a cleaning device with a magazine roll is known, which has a spring brake for regulating the tension of the washcloth. The washcloth is transported on a take-up roll, which is coupled to a motor.
According to DE-G 8 800 180.6, a spring brake is known which brakes an axis in a rotational calculation and releases in the opposite direction.
The object of the invention is to improve these disadvantages.
According to the invention that is solved by the characterizing part of the main claim. Further training results from the subclaims. The solution according to the invention has a low breakaway torque, ie the transition from holding friction (start-up / static friction) to sliding friction takes place smoothly and not abruptly. When starting, the sliding speed increases steadily from zero. This means that the washcloth does not form any loops or sag during transport. Tearing through the washcloth, "seizing up" of the cleaning cloth roller or stick-slip movements are avoided. The spring band freewheel effects the required washing cloth tension due to its spring-back.
The solution according to the invention is reliable and does not require a large number of components. Depending on requirements, the shaft of the fresh cloth roller can have a hardened or coated surface in the looping area of the spring band freewheel. Alternatively, it is also possible to use a liner connected to the shaft. A torque is only transmitted in the direction of pull of the wash cloth in which the spring band freewheel freewheels and locks in the opposite direction (rest position of the shaft of the fresh cloth roller).
The solution according to the invention will be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment.

A washing device for rotary printing machines is described below, with only one
The washing device essentially consists of two
If it is necessary to clean the
The solution according to the invention is not limited to this exemplary embodiment.
