  • the second sheet 25 is mounted on a patch unwind spindle and every 14 cms (five and one-half inches) or so a sheet is cut from a web, as indicated in stage 64.
  • Stage 66 indicates where the sheets 10, 25 are registered to form the return envelope 38, using form-a-liner punching, which is then slit off.
  • This combined web (67) is then fed to a perfing station 68 where marginal perfs 41 through 45 are applied, and then it passes to a stage 69 where a glue patch is supplied around the cutout 20 on face 11 and the transparent window 21 is put in place.
  • stage 70 the web is folded into pad form, and then is passed to stage 71 where the repositional adhesive label 32 is blown on utilizing a LabelaireTM machine.

Claims (13)

  1. Zwischenstück für ein Versandbrief-Geschäftsformular, das folgendes umfaßt:
    ein erster allgemein quadratischer Bogen Papier (10) mit einer ersten und zweiten Kante (13, 14), die parallel zueinander sind, und einer dritten und vierten Kante (15, 16), die parallel zueinander sind und senkrecht zu der ersten und zweiten Kante verlaufen;
    eine Falzlinie (17), die die dritte und vierte Kante im wesentlichen halbiert, parallel zu der ersten und zweiten Kante verläuft und somit ein erstes und zweites Feld (18, 19) definiert;
    ein in dem zweiten Feld vorgesehenes ausgeschnittenes Fenster (20);
    einen einen quadratischen zweiten Bogen (25) bildenden Rückumschlag, dessen Abmessungen wesentlich kleiner sind als die Abmessungen des ersten Bogens;
    ein den zweiten Bogen zur Bildung eines Rückumschlags (38) mit dem ersten Feld (18) des ersten Bogens verbindendes erstes Klebstoffmuster (27):
    Rückadressangaben (31), die auf einem Teil des zweiten Bogens aufgedruckt sind und, wenn der erste Bogen um die Falzlinie gefaltet ist, auf das ausgeschnittene Fenster ausgerichtet sind;
    ein wiederlösbares Klebstoffetikett (32), das auf dem zweiten Bogen aufgebracht ist und die Rückadresse (31) bedeckt und das mit einer Zieladresse (33) versehen ist;
    ein zweites Klebstoffmuster (40) zur Verbindung des ersten Feldes mit dem zweiten Feld entlang deren Kanten nach dem Falten um die Falzlinie (17); und
    in dem ersten und zweiten Feld neben den Kanten des ersten Bogens ausgebildete Schwächungslinien (41 - 45), damit der durch Falten um die Falzlinie und Festkleben durch den zweiten Klebstoff gebildete Versandbrief leicht geöffnet werden kann.
  2. Versandbrief-Geschäftsformular mit einem Zwischenstück nach Anspruch 1, bei dem der erste Bogen V-förmig um die Falzlinie gefaltet ist, um einen Versandbrief zu bilden.
  3. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rückadressangaben (31) in einer Linie lesbar sind, wobei die lesbare Linie parallel zur Falzlinie (17) verläuft.
  4. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, gekennzeichnet durch ein drittes Klebstoffmuster (46), das den zweiten Bogen entlang der ersten Kante (13) des ersten Bogens mit diesem verbindet und von dem Rückumschlag lösbar ist, wenn das erste und zweite Feld (18, 19) an den Schwächungslinien (41 - 45) abgetrennt sind.
  5. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Rückumschlag eine Klappe (55) enthält, und weiterhin mit einem auf der Klappe gebildeten vierten Klebstoffmuster (56) versehen ist.
  6. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das erste Klebstoffmuster (27) eine U-förmige Konfiguration aufweist, die bezüglich der Rückadressangaben (31) so ausgerichtet ist, daß ein offener oberer Teil für den Rückumschlag gebildet wird.
  7. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das zweite Klebstoffmuster (40) eine U-förmige Konfiguration umfaßt, die neben der dritten und vierten Kante in mindestens einem der Felder und entweder neben der zweiten oder ersten Kante vorgesehen ist.
  8. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das zweite Klebstoffmuster einen Heißsiegelkleber umfaßt, der neben der zweiten Kante und neben der dritten und vierten Kante des zweiten Feldes angeordnet ist.
  9. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der zweite Bogen (25) ungefähr zwei Drittel der Fläche des ersten Feldes (18) umfaßt.
  10. Zwischenstück oder Versandbrief nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, gekennzeichnet durch Perforationen (36), die neben der Falzlinie (17) in dem ersten Feld (18) neben dem zweiten Bogen/Rückumschlag (25) und der Falzline (17) angeordnet sind.
  11. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Versandbrief-Geschäftsformulars mit integriertem Rückumschlag unter Verwendung eines ersten Bogens Papier mit ersten quadratischen Abmessungen eines ersten und zweiten Feldes davon und eines zweiten Bogens Papier mit zweiten quadratischen Abmessungen, die viel kleiner sind als die ersten Abmessungen, mit den folgenden Schritten:
    (a) Bilden einer Falzlinie in dem ersten Bogen zur Definition eines ersten und zweiten Feldes und Bilden eines ausgestanzten Fensters in dem zweiten Feld;
    (b) Aufbringen eines Klebstoffmusters auf das erste Feld des ersten Bogens zum Bilden eines Rückumschlags;
    (c) Drucken einer Rückadresse auf einen zweiten Bogen;
    (d) Anbringen des zweiten Bogens an dem ersten Bogen in Deckung mit dem Rückumschlagklebstoff zur Bildung eines Rückumschlags in dem ersten Feld, dessen Abmessungen viel kleiner sind als das erste Feld;
    (e) Ausbilden von Perforationen in dem ersten und zweiten Feld;
    (f) Aufbringen von Klebstoff zur Verbindung des ersten Feldes mit dem zweiten Feld neben deren Kanten;
    (g) Aufblasen eines wiederlösbaren Klebstoffetiketts zum Bedecken der aufgedruckten Rückadresse auf dem zweiten Bogen; und
    (h) derartiges Falten des ersten Bogens um die Falzlinie, daß das ausgeschnittene Fenster über dem wiederlösbaren Klebstoffetikett liegt und daß der die Felder miteinander verbindende Klebstoff zur Bildung eines Endversandbriefes aktiviert wird.
  12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, mit dem weiteren Schritt des Öffnens des Versandbriefes durch Reißen entlang den Perforationen; Entfernen des Rückumschlags von dem ersten Feld; Entfernen des wiederlösbaren Etiketts aus seiner die Rückadresse bedeckenden Position und Plazieren des Etiketts auf einem Rücksendeadressenteil des Rückumschlags; Füllen des Rückumschlags; Verschließen des Rückumschlags; und Rücksenden des Rückumschlags zu dem Rückadressaten.
  13. Verfahren nach Anspruch 12, mit dem weiteren Schritt des Entfernens des wiederlösbaren Etiketts von dem Rückumschlag nach dessen Empfang und Anbringen des wiederlösbaren Etiketts auf ein Paket und Senden des Pakets an den ursprünglichen Zieladressaten des Versandbriefes.
