Abstract

Description

The object of the invention relates to the technical sector of visual and mobile advertising, in particular advertising by light land vehicles such as bicycles, mopeds, as well as coupling trailers which can be coupled to such vehicles.

Utility-type vehicles are especially known which are specially adapted for displaying advertising on the lateral and / or rear sides by display, as well as the use of light trailers arranged to support display panels of all structures, volumes and dimensions, said trailers being coupled to bicycles or other vehicles of the same type in any suitable manner.

If this type of advertising is widely used, the advertising signs on towed trailers or on utility vehicles are all installed on fixed plans that do not arouse the curiosity of the consumer. The common use of this type of advertising means that people pay little attention to it, and their object becomes less interesting.

It should also be noted that commercial vehicles are generally bulky, unwieldy, and prohibited on pedestrian streets, a place where this type of advertising could be effective.

The use of advertisements directly established on bicycle wheels is also known. This is mainly marking executed on hubcaps closely associated with the rim of each of the wheels. This type of embodiment is found essentially for racing bikes, for which the manufacturers, in certain racing situations, apply this type of hubcap to the bicycles, for essentially aerodynamic reasons. In practice, reading the markings and other signs is only possible when the bicycles are stopped, because otherwise the advertisements become diffuse and illegible when the cyclists are in the exercise phase. The advertising and media impact is therefore very limited.

The aim sought, according to the invention, was to design a new advertising concept which offers an attractive advertising surface, very visible and capable of being read and viewed in all circumstances, whether the carrier vehicle is running or stopped.

Another sought-after object, according to the invention, was to design a device which allows rapid and simple adaptability of advertising signs on light vehicles of the aforementioned type.

According to a first characteristic, the advertising vehicle of the bicycle, moped and similar type, whether or not arranged with a coupling trailer, is remarkable in that it receives, on one or more of its wheels, a support means capable of receiving a panel. advertising, said support means being fixed to the fixed part of the corresponding light vehicle by appropriate means allowing its rapid assembly and disassembly, and in that said advertising panel is in a fixed position independent of the rolling and advancing effect of the vehicle to authorize a reading of the marking and advertising, according to a sliding effect by report to the ground.

The advertising vehicle is of the bicycle, three-wheeler, moped, or similar type, which may or may not receive a coupling trailer. The term bicycle will be used in the following description to describe the invention, this term however not being limiting.

The bicycle is arranged to receive, on one or more of its wheels, a support means capable of authorizing the attachment of an advertising panel, said support means being fixed to the fixed part of the corresponding light vehicle by appropriate means authorizing its mounting. and quick disassembly. Said advertising panel is in a fixed position independent of the rolling effect and advancement of the vehicle to allow reading of the marking and the advertising, according to a sliding effect relative to the ground.

The support means can be established in any suitable form to fit on the fixed part of the bicycle, that is to say for example from its frame, front and / or rear forks, luggage rack, and generally on all fixed parts adapted to allow the attachment of one or more advertising panels.

Some examples of embodiments are described below.

The vehicle illustrated is composed of a bicycle on which are installed four (or from 1 to x) circular advertising panels (9) (or any other geometric form: square, rectangular, oval, etc.) fixed on either side. other (or simply on one side) of each of the two wheels (10).

Each advertising panel (9) consists of two circular planes (or any other geometric form: square, rectangular, oval, etc.) that are flat. An opaque interior (14), a transparent exterior (13), both of the same size and overlapping. The advertising poster (12) thus slides between the two surfaces.

To fix each of the advertising panels (9) on the side of the wheel (10) which it covers, a "star" (FIG. 4) with three (or one, two, four or x) branches (2) is installed. 120 ° (or other degree depending on the number of branches), radius 310 mm, maintained by its center (but can be offset from one to a few hundred mm for an appropriate visual effect) on the wheel axle (3), on the outside of each of the two fork uprights (1) (front or rear).

At the end of each of the branches (2) (FIG. 5) there is a recess (4) of 5 mm at the end of the branch (2), a flat piece (6) bearing on the recess (4) above and fixed at the end of the branch (2) by an 8 mm screw (5).

The advertising panel (9) is thus held at three points (or more or less depending on the number of branches) between the end of each of the branches (2) and the inserts (6) which can be clamped at will by means of the screw (5).

The fastening system can be reinforced by passing the wheel axle (3) through the panels and adding a 10 mm bolt at the end of the axle, having the effect of pressing the advertising panels (9) against the wheel clamping nut (8).

As can be seen in FIG. 6, the front wheel assembly (10), plus fork (1), plus the two advertising panels (9), seen in profile, does not exceed 180 mm, which remains much less than l handlebar wheelbase estimated at 530 mm. This small footprint leaves the cyclist the same freedom of evolution as with a conventional bicycle.

It is also not excluded that the advertising panels (9) are fixed by circular frames (15) (or any other geometric shape: square, rectangular, oval, etc.) held on the front forks (1), rear and at the ends of a star (figure 4) with three branches (2) (or two, four, and more). The advertising panel would then be embedded in the groove (7) of this frame (15) (Figure 7).

The assembly shown in Figure 6 is a variant of fixing the figure 5.

The support means can be adapted and fixed on the luggage rack portion of the bicycle. In the case of the use of advertising panels on coupling trailers, the fixing of said panels, facing the wheels, is carried out on the fixed part of the chassis of the trailer.

The advantages are apparent from the description. We also emphasize the maintained maneuverability of the bicycle and its reduced bulk, allowing it to take the narrowest lanes reserved for conventional bikes, the attractiveness of the fixed advertising surfaces superimposed on the wheels while the bicycle is in motion. This has the effect of an impression of "sliding" of the panels relative to the ground, whereas logic would like to see these panels rotating in an identical manner to the wheels (10). This phenomenon has the immense advantage of attracting the attention of passers-by while allowing them to read the advertising message written on each of the panels.

The easy dismantling system for advertising panels (9) makes it possible to quickly interchange the advertisements (12) interposed between the opaque interior panel (14) and the transparent exterior panel (13).
