Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vehicle antenna for mobile transmission and reception, which is fastened in a body opening by means of an elastic button grommet.
From the utility model G8020788 a vehicle antenna with a protective tube attached within the body for receiving a rigid antenna rod or a telescopic antenna rod is known. The antenna is held in a body opening by means of a button grommet. A retaining bracket that can be screwed onto a flange of the protective tube is used to establish a defined earth connection between the protective tube of the antenna and the body. Another type of ground connection can be established by a corresponding ground strap between the antenna and the body.
The disadvantage here is that the function of the antenna at frequencies greater than 100 MHz becomes increasingly poor due to the selective ground connection and that there is a risk of interference from earth loops.
Furthermore, from G 88 15 094 a vehicle antenna is known which has a button sleeve and a separate ground contact device surrounding the protective tube, the contact between the antenna and the ground contact device being established by means of webs of a barrel-shaped contact ring of the protective tube.
The disadvantages here are that the assembly effort is increased by the separate ground contact device and that the contact surface on the ground contact device has an adequate function due to the small contact surfaces of the webs of the contact ring Antenna is not guaranteed at frequencies greater than 100 MHz.
The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a vehicle antenna which is also suitable for frequencies greater than 100 MHz and which allows simple assembly.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous refinements result from the subclaims.
According to the invention, the ground connection for high frequencies is achieved in that in the vicinity of the body opening to accommodate the vehicle antenna, a capacitive connection of the antenna to the body, i.e. a capacitive ground connection is established.
To save space and weight, the mass pot has a cylindrical, upwardly open pot shape, which is preferably frustoconically widened towards the open end.
Advantageously, there is a circumferential mass element around the body bushing with the electrically insulating one-piece grommet, which is pressed against the inside of the body with a certain force via a conductive mass pot. The mass pot preferably consists of electrically conductive plastic or of a plastic having a metallic surface. The capacitive connection is produced by a sufficiently large metal foil, which is applied to the inside of the body around the body opening, a capacitance being generated by the lacquer layer located between the body and the metal foil, and the mass element is pressed onto the metal foil in a conductive manner.
The metal foil preferably consists of a conductive, corrosion-resistant material, in particular stainless steel.
The mass element is designed as an elastic contact element, which is advantageously embedded in the upper part of the mass pot and has a protrusion of approximately 2 mm. This ensures a well reproducible all-round arrangement on the metal foil on the inside of the body. The ground element is preferably designed as a ground strap, which consists of a flexible, temperature-resistant carrier element and a conductive outer layer. The carrier element can be formed by an elastomer and the outer layer by a metal braid, preferably made of stainless steel. The carrier element or the elastomer must be stable in a temperature range from -30 ° C to + 85 ° C.
The earth pot is adapted to the contour of the inside of the body at the antenna installation point, which is ensured in the manufacture by corresponding data records, and it includes the insulating button sleeve protruding into the interior of the body. The earth cup has on its edge facing the inside of the body, preferably in the form of a bead, a receiving groove for receiving the measuring element, which is preferably in the form of an earth strap and is inserted into the receiving groove. The earth strap is secured against falling out by selective deformation of the earth cup laterally. Zinc or aluminum die casting is preferably used as the material for the mass pot.
The compressive force is generally provided by a spring, which is preferably made of stainless steel, and has a value of approximately or greater than 30 N. The spring forms a unit with the earth cup, i.e. is firmly connected to this to rule out the risk of losing it, so that the ground cup is pressed against the inside of the body via the antenna connector buttoned into the button sleeve. The earth pot with the antenna, i.e. the antenna connector is connected conductively but movably.
The mass element and the receiving groove of the mass pot are designed so that a resilient 2.5 mm high area remains between the upper edge of the receiving groove and the body contour and thereby a permanent ground connection to the metal foil on the entire circumference of the mass pot, which is due to the compression spring is specified.
- Fig. 1
- einen Längsschnitt durch die erfindungsgemäße Fahrzeugantenne.
- Fig. 1
- a longitudinal section through the vehicle antenna according to the invention.
An antenna, which can be, for example, a telescopic or a rod antenna, is inserted into a body opening 1 of the body panel 2. It is buttoned in from above by means of an insulating, elastic button grommet 3, that is to say pressed in, and fastened by an
