Nachdem dies geschehen ist, werden die Spannplatten 10 nach außen verschoben (Pfeilrichtungen C in Fig. 1) und mittels der Kolben-Zylinder-Einheiten 11 gestreckt (Fig. 1b), wodurch der Saum 2 spaltfrei gespannt wird, denn die gestreckten Spannplatten 10 bilden, nachdem sie hindernisfrei gestreckt wurden, mit den Stützkissen 56 einen praktisch geschlossenen Ring, der ein rundum gleichmäßig glattes Finishen des Saums 2 gewährleistet. Vorrichtung an einer Bügelmaschine zum Spannen des unteren Saums (2) eines auf eine Büste gehängten Sakkos (4), das beidseitig je einen von unten ausgehenden Seitenschlitz, insbesondere Rückseitenschlitz, aufweist, mit Greifern (6, 8, 12), die die vorderen Enden des unteren Saums (2) und einen Abschnitt des unteren Saums (2) im mittleren Rückenbereich des Sakkos (4) von unten umfassen und festhalten, und mit Spannplatten (10), die den unteren Saum (2) an beiden Seiten des Sakkos im wesentlichen radial nach außen spannen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
