Description

The present invention relates to a transport pallet with a lower basic pallet and an upper lid, as e.g. from US-A-3,524,415.

Pallets of this type, in which a transport good is to be arranged between the basic pallet and the cover, can be stacked due to the cover, by placing the basic pallet of an upper transport pallet on the cover of a lower transport pallet. Therefore, the cover for absorbing the forces occurring must be relatively stable, which is usually achieved by a large wall thickness.

The present invention is based on the object of improving such a transport range in such a way that it can be carried out more easily, in particular in the region of the cover, with at least the same load-bearing capacity and therefore also more economically because of the material savings.

According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are contained in the subclaims.

Accordingly, according to the invention, the basic pallet and the lid with the transport goods arranged between them can be braced against one another via at least one tensioning belt having a tensioning element, the or each tensioning belt in the tensioned state resting at least in the approximately central region of the lid on its underside facing the basic pallet. As a result, the or - in the case of several, e.g. two existing tensioning straps - each tensioned tensioning strap has a carrying function by supporting the cover from below. It is particularly advantageous if the underside of the cover in its approximately central surface area for the / each tensioning strap has at least one bead-like support attachment in such a way that the tensioning strap, starting from the edge region of the cover, slopes downwards from the underside of the cover over the support attachment runs. In this way, a corner of force is formed below the cover, wherein the tensile stress of the respective tensioning belt generates a supporting force acting vertically from below on the cover via the respective support attachment.

The thickness of the cover can advantageously be reduced by the invention, specifically from a previously required thickness of at least 10 mm to approximately 8 mm; the reduction of approx. 2 mm leads - based on the surface area of the lid and in view of the large number of pallets required (bulk items) - to a very substantial material saving.

In the different figures of the drawing, the same parts are always designated with the same reference numbers.

A transport pallet 1 according to the invention has a lower base pallet 2, an upper cover 4 and preferably a wall part 6 arranged between them, which will be explained in more detail below.

The basic pallet 2 and the lid 4 can be braced against one another with the transport goods arranged between them by means of at least one tensioning belt 10 having a tensioning element 8. In the illustrated exemplary embodiments, two tensioning belts 10 with corresponding tensioning elements 8 are provided.

As can now be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 and 3, according to the invention the or each tension belt 10 lies in the tensioned state at least in the approximately central region of the Cover 4 on the bottom 12 facing the base pallet 2. Preferably, on the underside 12 of the cover 4, in its approximately central surface area, a bulge-like support lug 14 is formed for each tensioning strap 10, each tensioning strap, starting from a region of the lid 4 adjacent to the edge of the lid, sloping downward away from the underside of the lid 12 runs over the respective support approach 14. As a result, a tensile force F acting vertically from below on the support lug 14 on the cover 4 is generated by the tension of the respective tension belt 10.

In order to be able to clamp the lid 4 against the basic pallet 2, each tensioning belt 10 runs in the outer edge region of the lid 4 over its top 16 and then in a region slightly spaced from the lid edge, in particular through bushings 18 of the lid 4 on its underside 12.

The tensioning elements 8 of the tensioning belts 10 are fixed, ie rigid, connected to the cover 4 and preferably arranged integrated in the cover 4 in such a way that each tensioning element 8 lies at least approximately flush with the top 16 of the cover 4 in one plane with its top 20 . This can be seen in particular in FIGS. 2 and 3. The tensioning elements 8 are each arranged in the area of one of the bushings 18 for the respective tensioning belt 10 in the edge area of the cover 4. However, it should be pointed out that - depending on the design of the tensioning element 8 - the cover 4 may not need to have a lead-through in this area, namely when one end of the tensioning belt 10 engages directly into the tensioning element 8 from the underside of the cover 12.

Two alternative embodiments for the tensioning belt 10 are now illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3.

According to FIG. 2, each tensioning belt 10 is formed in one piece all the way round, whereby it is detachable at one end and preferably fixed (rigid or even non-detachable) at the other end to the tensioning element 8. In the area of the basic pallet 2, each lashing strap 10 is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable, as will be explained in the following. The detachable end of the tensioning belt 10 interacts with the tensioning element 8 for tensioning, wherein the tensioning element 8 can be designed as a so-called "tensioning ratchet". Due to the one-sided detachable from the tensioning device 8 tensioning strap 10, the cover 4 can be removed from the basic pallet 2 together with the tensioning strap 10 still attached to the tensioning device 8 at the other end. After loading the transport pallet 1, the lid 4 is put on and the tensioning belts 10 are looped around the basic pallet 2 and inserted with their free ends into the tensioning devices 8 and then tensioned.

In the particularly advantageous further development of the invention illustrated in FIG. 3, each tensioning belt 10 consists of two parts which can be releasably connected to one another, namely a first belt piece 22, which is held on the basic pallet 2 so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the belt, and a second, which has the tensioning element 8 and thus belt piece 24 connected to the cover 4. The second belt piece 24 is preferably again divided into two; it consists of a first section 26, which is fixed (rigidly or possibly non-detachably) to the tensioning element 8 and a second section 28 which cooperates with the tensioning element 8 for tensioning. The tensioning element 8 can be in the manner of a turnbuckle be designed so that the end of the second belt section 28 can be wound in the tensioning element 8. As a result of this advantageous embodiment of the tensioning belt 10, its end cooperating for tensioning with the tensioning element 8 can always remain connected to the tensioning device 8. To loosen, ie to remove the cover 4, each belt only needs to be loosened somewhat until the first belt piece 22 and the second belt piece 24 can be separated from one another. The first and second belt pieces 22, 24 are preferably connected or connectable to one another via hook-and-eye connections 30. The second belt piece 24 or its belt sections 26 and 28 expediently has end-side hooks, which are each arranged slightly below the outer edge of the cover, while the first belt part 22 has end-side eyelets which can be hung on the hooks of the second belt part. As an alternative to this, however, it may also be advantageous if the first belt piece 22 has a hook on one side and an eyelet on the other side, whereas it would be exactly the opposite in the case of the second belt piece 24, this embodiment being advantageous insofar as the transport pallet 1 is disassembled Ends of the first strap piece 22 could be connected to one another via the hook and the eyelet, so that the first strap piece 22 would thereby be virtually captively connected to the basic pallet 2.

The base pallet 2 usually has feet 32 on its underside such that 32 spaces 34 are formed between these feet for inserting a fork. In this embodiment, it is particularly advantageous if, in the area of the basic pallet 2, each tensioning belt 10 at least in the areas of the intermediate spaces 34 via the upper side of the basic pallet facing the cover 4 2 runs. As a result, the tension belts 10 are advantageously protected from mechanical damage by forklifts. As can be clearly seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the tensioning belts 10 each run a little below this in the side regions of the basic pallet 2 and then run through passages 36 onto the upper side of the basic pallet 2. In this simple manner, the one above is mentioned, required for clamping the longitudinally displaceable mounting of the clamping material 10 on the basic pallet 2 guaranteed.

Vorzugsweise besitzt auch die Grundpalette 2 entsprechende Versteifungen 38.It is also advantageous if the cover 4 has longitudinal and / or transverse, in particular rib-like stiffeners 38. This is also in view of the desired lighter, i.e. thinner version advantageous. The base pallet 2 preferably also has corresponding stiffeners 38.

Die Grundpalette 2 und der Deckel 4 bestehen zweckmäßigerweise aus Kunststoff, insbesondere aus Polyethylen (PE).The basic pallet 2 and the cover 4 are expediently made of plastic, in particular of polyethylene (PE).

The wall part 6 already briefly mentioned above, arranged between the basic pallet 2 and the cover 4, forms circumferential walls 40 which are approximately perpendicular to the basic pallet 2 and to the cover 4; in the rectangular basic shape shown, the wall part 6 consists of four walls 40. It is advantageous if the base pallet 2 and the cover 4 each have an edge-encircling receiving groove 42 for the upper and lower edge region of the wall part 6 on their sides facing each other . The wall part 6 is inserted with its lower edge region into the receiving groove 42 of the basic pallet 2, and after the pallet has been loaded, the cover 4 becomes with its receiving groove 42 placed on the upper edge region of the wall part 6. Then - as already described above - the tensioning is carried out by means of the tensioning belts 10. The wall part 6 expediently consists of a foldable material, in particular cardboard or cardboard; Multi-layer, preferably three-layer corrugated cardboard is particularly suitable, the longitudinal corrugations or chambers of the corrugated cardboard preferably running vertically, since this material has a particularly high rigidity and therefore also a good load-bearing capacity. Due to the foldable material, the wall part 6 can be arranged in the empty state of the transport pallet 1 according to the invention in a flat folded state between the basic pallet 2 and the lid 4; in this way, the pallet requires only a very small volume, for example, for shipping when empty. Even in this empty state, the basic pallet 2 and the lid 4 can in principle be held together by means of the tension belts 10.

The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown and described, but also includes all of the embodiments within the scope of the claims. In particular, the wall part 6 is not mandatory, but the basic pallet 2 and the cover 4 can also be braced against one another while bearing against the respective transport goods . Here, the mutually facing surfaces can be profiled in relief to match the spatial shape of the respective goods to be transported.
