Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an RF coaxial connector with several, at a certain pitch on a base, e.g. a printed circuit board, arranged coaxial connectors and corresponding coaxial mating connectors arranged on a base.
In various known connection systems, coaxial connectors of the 1.0 / 2.3 series are used for the transmission of the RF signals with a pitch, ie an average distance between the mounting holes on a circuit board or a module of 7.5 or 7.62 mm . So far, the compact design in electronic communications equipment has been sufficiently taken into account. For such connections, straight and 90 ° angled coaxial connector types with cable connection and with solder pins for a circuit board connection have been used, for example in an arrangement with several coaxial connectors, the connectors of the mating connector have been snapped individually into a bar with suitable holes. In the course of advancing miniaturization in new connection systems with 2.5 mm grid circuit boards and thus higher packing density, RF coaxial plug connections are required for smaller spacing of the order of 5 mm and simplified connection technology.
The invention is therefore based on the object, one for a very small pitch of e.g. 5 mm suitable, i.e. to create mechanically and electrically adapted HF coaxial plug connection in simplified connection technology.
- a) the coaxial connectors are attached to their base with press-in contacts,
- b) the mating connectors are integrated in a number corresponding to the number of coaxial connectors in a monoblock,
- c) the monoblock consists of conductive material and forms the outer conductor for all coaxial mating connectors integrated in it,
- d) the inner conductors of the coaxial mating connectors and their connections for the base are each insulated in bores in the monoblock,
- e) the connections of the inner conductor of the coaxial mating connector and the outer conductor connections of the monoblock are designed as press-in contacts.
In the plug connection according to the invention, both the coaxial plug and the coaxial mating connector are fastened to their respective base in a press-in technique and thus advantageously in a simplified connection technique. Since the coaxial mating connectors are integrated in a monoblock, a higher packing density with smaller pitch spacings of e.g. 5 mm can be realized, thus creating a miniature coaxial connector family that - mechanically and electrically adapted - is even smaller than the very small one 1.0 / 2.3 series connector family.
The plug connection according to the invention is particularly well suited, in particular, for HD (high density) HF coaxial plug connectors.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of a plug connection according to the invention with regard to the packing density is obtained if two rows of coaxial mating connectors lying one above the other are provided in the monoblock. The connector can e.g. be constructed as an 8-way connector by providing two rows of four coaxial mating connectors one above the other in a monoblock.
With regard to compactness and connection technology of the plug connection according to the invention, it is advantageous if the coaxial plugs are fastened together on their base to form a unit.
Further advantageous embodiments of the subject matter of

- 2 shows the connector with coaxial connectors and coaxial mating connectors in a perspective view,
- Fig. 3, the coaxial mating connector in section and
- Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of a perspective oblique view of the coaxial mating connector and
- Fig. 5 shows a schematic representation of the individual plug-in phases in an RF / LF connector.
The connector consists of Figures 1 and 2 of several
With connector systems, in addition to RF coaxial connectors, sometimes NF connectors have to be made. In this case, the printed
