Wie aus Fig. 1 zu erkennen ist, besteht ein erfindungsgemäßes Lüftergehäuse aus zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Seitenteilen 1, 2 mit einem Lufteinlaß in einem der Seitenteile sowie aus einem Gehäusemantel 3, der an dem Umfang der Seitenteile 1, 2 angeordnet ist. Außerdem ist mit dem Lüftergehäuse ein Antriebsmotor verbunden (nicht dargestellt), der entweder über eine Flanschverbindung an der der Einlaßseite gegenüberliegenden Außenseite des einen Seitenteils 1 angebracht sein kann oder im Innenraum des Lüftergehäuses montiert ist. Erfolgt die Befestigung auf der Außenseite, dann durchgreift ein verlängertes Wellenende eine Öffnung im Seitenteil und trägt im Innern des Gehäuses ein Lüfterrad. Im anderen Fall ist das Lüfterrad direkt auf dem Rotor eines Außenläufermotors befestigt. Die Länge des Basisschenkels 8 entspricht vorzugsweise der Breite der Randstege 4. Zwischen der Mantelfläche des Gehäusemantels 3 und den Basisschenkeln 8 ergibt sich ein Spalt 10, dessen Höhe vorzugsweise der Dicke der Randstege 4 angepaßt ist. Die vorstehende Ausbildung ist insbesondere in Fig. 5 zu erkennen. Hierbei sind die Laschen 7 dadurch gebildet, daß sie im Bereich der Basisschenkel 8 als aus dem Gehäusemantel 3 herausgebogener Freischnitt ausgebildet sind. Somit sind die Laschen 7 einstückiger Bestandteil des Gehäusemantels 3. Wie sich aus Fig. 5 ergibt, wird dadurch, daß erfindungsgemäß der Randsteg 4 der Seitenteile 1, 2 jeweils umfangsgemäß den Gehäusemantel 3 umfaßt und durch den zwischen den Basisschenkeln 8 und der Oberfläche des Gehäusemantels 3 gebildeten Spalt hindurch verläuft, erreicht, daß die sich durch den Freischnitt des Basisschenkels 8 ergebende Ausnehmung vollständig abgedeckt wird. Beim Zusammenfügen der Teile werden die Laschen in den Aussparungen positioniert, so daß ein Verdrehen der Seitenteile bei der Montage bis zum Umbiegen der Schenkel 9 verhindert wird. Des weiteren weist der Mantel 3 im Bereich der Laschen 7 ebenfalls eine Ausstanzung 21 auf, wie sie in Fig. 4 dargestellt ist.
