Pour éviter que les produits lyophilisés dans une cuve ne soient mis en contact avec l'air ambiant, il est bien connu de procéder au bouchage des flacons contenant les produits en question, à l'intérieur même de l'enceinte de lyophilisation. Pour cela une technique avantageuse consiste à répartir lesdits flacons sur des étagères superposées et à faire en sorte que celles-ci viennent à tour de rôle se mettre en appui sur les flacons portés par l'étagère immédiatement inférieure et enfoncer ainsi leurs bouchons, jusqu'à ce que toutes les étagères se trouvent empilées et que l'ensemble des flacons soient bouchés. On sait que pour éviter les traversées des tiges de vérins de manoeuvre dans la cuve, qui génèrent des risques de pénétration de poussières ou de produits non stériles à l'intérieur, il a été imaginé un mécanisme de manoeuvre de ces étagères qui évite tout risque de contamination. On connaît ainsi par le FR-A-2 655 020 au nom de la Demanderesse un mécanisme de bouchage de flacons répartis sur les étagères d'une cuve de lyophilisation, selon lequel au moins une des étagères est suspendue à une poutre de bouchage disposée horizontalement à l'intérieur et dans la partie supérieure de la cuve, ladite poutre étant déplacée de bas en haut ou de haut en bas par au moins deux vis à billes s'étendant verticalement dans la cuve. Le dispositif présenté sur la figure 1 se situe à l'intérieur d'une cuve de lyophilisation 1 qui renferme une pluralité d'étagères 2 déplacées par une poutre de bouchage 3 en appui sur au moins deux vis à billes 4 par l'intermédiaire d'écrous 5. Les vis s'étendent verticalement sur toute la hauteur de la cuve, de part et d'autre des étagères. On voit plus en détail à la figure 2 que l'extrémité inférieure de chaque vis 4 s'engage dans un écrou 6 à pas nul c'est-à-dire dans un écrou équipé de gorges parallèles et horizontales 7 destinées à recevoir chacune plusieurs billes 8 qui sont logées aussi dans des rainures cylindriques correspondantes 9 prévues dans un manchon d'extrémité 10 de ladite vis. L'écrou 6, dont la forme extérieure est sphérique et qui peut se comporter comme une rotule afin de garantir des conditions de fonctionnement du roulement optimales sans contrainte parasite, est logé à l'intérieur de deux cages hémisphériques (11, 12) qui reposent elles-mêmes sur des potences 13, l'ensemble étant fixé au fond de la cuve par un jeu de vis 14. Le manchon 10 est rendu solidaire de la vis 4 par une clavette 15. D'autre part un pion 16 assure la liaison entre l'écrou 6 et les cages (11, 12) . Dans l'écrou sont prévues des ouvertures 17 (une seule est représentée) permettant la mise en place des billes dans les gorges 7. La partie inférieure de la vis 4 et du manchon 10 se termine par un boulon de serrage 18. Pour éviter que des impuretés ne puissent pénétrer dans l'espace annulaire entre l'écrou et le manchon, une couronne 19 en acier inoxydable fritté est rapportée à la partie supérieure ainsi qu'à la partie inférieure du manchon 10, contre lequel elle est maintenue par un joint profilé 20 en matière synthétique souple. Les couronnes servent de filtre aux poussières et impuretés mais peuvent laisser passer la vapeur d'eau et le gaz, ce qui permet d'assurer le dégazage du mécanisme. Le filtre 19 disposé en partie basse est situé de telle manière qu'il n'y a pas de possibilité d'accumulation de condensats qui s'évacuent naturellement par gravité lors de la phase de stérilisation à la vapeur.The device presented in FIG. 1 is located inside a freeze-drying tank 1 which contains a plurality of
La partie supérieure de chaque vis à billes, au niveau de la poutre de bouchage, est montrée plus en détail à la figure 3. On y voit l'écrou 5 qui enserre la vis à billes. L'écrou est rendu solidaire du corps de poutre 3 par un système de clavettes 22. On notera qu'il subsiste entre l'écrou et le corps de poutre, un espace 23 constituant un faible jeu entre la vis et la poutre. Ce jeu autorise un degré de liberté en translation de l'un des écrous mobiles 5 par rapport à la poutre de bouchage, permettant d'absorber la dilatation différentielle entre ladite poutre et le reste de la cuve. On retrouve également sur cette figure 3, de part et d'autre de l'écrou 5 par lequel la poutre de bouchage 3 coopère avec la vis à billes 4, une couronne 19 en acier inoxydable fritté maintenue par un joint profilé 21. - Freeze-drying tank (1) with racks (2) supporting bottles, at least one rack being suspended to a sealing girder (3) placed horizontally inside the tank and at its upper part, said girder being displaced from bottom to top or from top to bottom by at least two ballscrews (4) which extend vertically into the tank, said screws being in support at the bottom of the tank, wherein the lower extremity of each screw (4) is engaged in a nut (6) with a nil pitch and equipped with parallel horizontal throats (7) for receiving balls (8) cooperating with grooves (9) provided in the screw, and wherein at least one imperviousness system (19, 20) is provided on both sides of the nut so as to prevent impurities penetrating between the screw and said nut.
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 1, wherein the lower extremity of the screw (4) bears a sleeve (10) in which said grooves (9) are provided.
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 1, wherein the nut (6) is housed inside two hemispherical cages (11, 12) resting on brackets (13) fixed to the bottom of the tank.
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 2, wherein the sleeve (10) is rendered integral with the screw (4) by means of a key (15).
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 3, wherein a slug (16) ensures the link between the nut (6) and the cages (11, 12).
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 1, wherein openings (17) are provided in the nut (6) for placing the balls in the throats (7).
- Freeze-drying tank according to claims 1 and 2, wherein the imperviousness system is constituted by sintered stainless steel rings (19) mounted on the upper portion and lower portion of the sleeve (10) and supported by a profiled joint (20) made of a flexible synthetic material.
- Freeze-drying tank according to claims 1 and 7, wherein said imperviousness system (19) is mounted on both sides of the nut (5) of the sealing girder (3).
- Freeze-drying tank according to claim 3, wherein a certain amount of play is provided between the nut and the sealing girder (3), thus authorizing a degree of displacement freedom making it possible to absorb the differential cubic expansion between said girder and the rest of the tank, and wherein a joint (21) has a shape adapted to the helical throat of the screw.
