Abstract

The invention relates to a deposit lock for articles to be fastened releasably to one another, such as shopping trolleys and luggage trolleys, with a lock case 1 which is fastened to the first article and which possesses an orifice 1c for a deposit and an orifice for a coupling member 1a which is fastened to the second article and which is held retained by a locking bolt 4 until the deposit is inserted, the deposit being a card and/or a coin which, during insertion, move a control part 3 which moves the locking bolt 4 from the locking position into the release position. <IMAGE>
