A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the strip element (34) has a central aperture (36) in facing relationship with a radial seating (32) in the body (10), the said central aperture (36) and the said radial seating (32) being adapted to accommodate the branches (46, 48) of the spring (44).
  3. A device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the body (10) has a second radial opening (30), adjacent to the first radial opening (28) and adapted to receive the retaining lug (50) of the spring (44).
  4. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the strip element (34) has an upper face (40) on which an inclined flat surface portion (42) is formed.
  5. A device according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that, during introduction of the lock into its housing (10), the strip element (34) penetrates into a longitudinal groove (52) of the barrel (16), which extends the opening (28) in an angular position of the barrel (16) different from the locked position.
