Abstract

An integral moulding having a separating wall (4) for separating the two coils (2,3) is provided on each winding overhang of a transformer or of a balanced series inductor. Provided on the separating wall (4) are fixing means (6,7,9) which fix one coil (2) on the moulding. Such fixing means are also provided for the other coil (3). In this way, a stable unit is created by means of the moulding and the coils, which unit can subsequently be fitted with the core plates (1). This simplifies the production of the transformer or the series inductor. <IMAGE>
