Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Einführen von Klein-Packungen, insbesondere Zigaretten-Packungen, in einen Großbehälter, insbesondere einen Karton, wobei die Packungen innerhalb des Großbehälters in Reihen bzw. Lagen ausgerichtet sind, mit folgenden Merkmalen:

  • a) die Einrichtung weist einen Zwischenbehälter auf, in den die Packungen einförderbar und aus welchem sie in den Großbehälter überführbar sind,
  • b) der Zwischenbehälter weist mehrere Kammern auf, die durch übereinanderliegende Horizontalwände begrenzt sind und die zur Aufnahme je einer aus mehreren Packungen bestehenden Packungs-Gruppe vorgesehen sind,
  • c) die Kammern sind zum Ausschub von zu Gruppen zusammengefaßten, dem Inhalt eines Großbehälters entsprechenden Packungen und zum Einschub derselben in den Großbehälter an einander gegenüberliegenden Enden offen,
  • d) zum Ausschub aus dem Zwischenbehälter und zum Einschub in den mit einer offenen Seite dem Zwischenbehälter zugekehrten Großbehälter ist ein Ausschuborgan vorgesehen, dessen Stößel an einer dem Großbehälter gegenüberliegenden offenen Seite des Zwischenbehälters in letzteren eintreten.

  • e) der Zwischenbehälter weist zur Begrenzung der Kammern auch Vertikalwände auf, derart, daß die Kammern nach Maßgabe der Formation der Packungen innerhalb des Großbehälters in Reihen übereinander und auch nebeneinander angeordnet sind,
  • f) zum Ausschieben der Packungen treten die Stößel in Axialrichtung der Kammern durch diese hindurch.

Der Zuförderer ist erfindungsgemäß beweglich, insbesondere schwenkbar, so daß das Abgabeende nacheinander vor die Kammern des Zwischenbehälters fahren kann. Die weitere schrittweise Aufwärtsbewegung nach Maßgabe des Füllvorgangs wird dann durch den darunter befindlichen Zwischenbehälter 18 durch entsprechende Aufwärtsbewegung des Vertikalförderers 52 bewirkt. Wenn der betreffende Zwischenbehälter 18 vollständig gefüllt ist, wird er auf die Höhe des Bandförderers 34 angehoben und durch den Schieber 33 abtransportiert. Zugleich gelangt der darunterliegende Zwischenbehälter 18 in die Füllposition. Unmittelbar danach kehrt der Vertikalförderer 52 in die untere Position zur Aufnahme eines weiteren Zwischenbehälters 18 zurück. Währenddessen wird der Zwischenbehälter 18 in der Füllposition durch Tragklinken 53 gehalten. Diese werden selbsttätig außer Eingriff bewegt, wenn der nächste Zwischenbehälter 18 von unten zugeführt wird.The filling station 27 is also designed in a special way. Claims (12)

  1. Apparatus for introducing small packs (10), in particular cigarette packs, into a large container, in particular a carton (16), the packs (10) being aligned in rows or layers within the large container, having the following features:
    a) the apparatus has an intermediate container (18) into which the packs can be conveyed and from which they can be transferred into the large container,
    b) the intermediate container (18) has a plurality of chambers (19) which are bounded by horizontal walls (26) located one on top of the other and which are provided for receiving in each case one pack group (20) comprising a plurality of packs (10),
    c) the chambers (19) are open at mutually opposite ends for the purposes of pushing out packs (10) which have been combined to form groups (20) and correspond to the contents of a large container and pushing them into the large container,
    d) provided for the purposes of pushing out of the intermediate container (18) and pushing into the large container, which has an open side facing the intermediate container, is a push-out member (42) whose push rods (43) pass into the intermediate container on an open side of the latter, which is located opposite the large container, characterized by the following features:
    e) the intermediate container (18) also has vertical walls (25) for bounding the chambers (19), such that the chambers (19) are arrqanged in rows one on top of the other and also one beside the other within the large container in accordance with the formation of the packs (10),
    f) for the purpose of pushing out the packs (10), the push rods (43) pass through the chambers (19) in the axial direction thereof.
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the number of packs (10) which can be conveyed altogether into the intermediate container (18) corresponds to the contents of one or more large containers, and in that the free inner cross-section and the length of the chambers (19) correspond in each case to the cross-section and the length of a pack group (20).
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the push-out member (42) has a number of push rods (43) which corresponds to the number of chambers (19) which are to be emptied in one operating cycle, the push rods being in the formation of the chambers.
  4. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the chambers (19) are dimensioned for receiving a pack group (20) made up of a plurality of, in particular two, pack rows (17) arranged one on top of the other, cuboidal packs (10) preferably being directed with the longitudinal extent transverse with respect to the axial direction of the chambers (19).
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that a continuous line of packs (15) can be conveyed in succession, corresponding to the filling cross-section of the chambers (19), into the chambers (19) until the latter are filled.
  6. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the line of packs (15) can be fed to the intermediate container (18) by a feed conveyor (28) which opens out in front of a chamber (19) which is to be filled in each case.
  7. Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that the intermediate container (18) and feed conveyor (28) can be moved relative to one another, at least in the region of the opening of said feed conveyor, for the purpose of filling the chambers (19) in succession.
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the feed conveyor (28) can be moved relative to the intermediate container (18) at least by pivoting in the horizontal plane for the purpose of filling chambers (19) arranged one beside the other in one plane.
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the intermediate container (18) can be moved at intervals in the horizontal and/or vertical direction relative to the opening of the feed conveyor (28).
  10. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the furth4r claims, characterized in that the filled intermediate container (18) can be fed from a filling station (27), by transverse transportation, to a transfer station (35), in which the intermediate container (18) is positioned in a precise position relative to an open carton (16).
  11. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that, in the filling station (27), the intermediate containers (18) can be conveyed in succession, from below, to a filling position, it being possible for the intermediate container (18) which is located in the filling position in each case to be raised at intervals, in accordance with the filling process, by an intermediate container (18) located beneath it.
  12. Apparatus according to Claim 11, characterized in that emptied intermediate containers (18) can be conveyed to the filling station (27) on a return conveyor (51) running beneath the filling position and can be raised in succession by a vertical conveyor (52) up to the level of the filling position.
