Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß zwei etwa dreieckige seitliche Rahmenteile des Hochstuhls durch Querstreben o.dgl. miteinander verbunden sind, daß zwei gerade Kanten der Rahmenteile oder jeweils zwei mit jeder der beiden Kanten der Rahmenteile verbundene Fußstücke oder vier Eckpunkte der Rahmenteile ein Standviereck aufspannen, daß zwei Seitenkanten der Rahmenteile, die von dem Bereich des Standvierecks ausgehen, bogenförmig gekrümmte Kufen eines Schaukelstuhls bilden und daß zwischen den Rahmenteilen ein Sitz für die Verwendung als Hochstuhl und/oder ein Sitz für die Verwendung als Schaukelstuhl befestigt ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Hochstuhl zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß er einmal in üblicher Weise als Hochstuhl verwendet werden kann, um Kinder so hoch zu setzen, daß sie bequem an für Erwachsene bestimmten Tischen sitzen können. Zum anderen kann der Hochstuhl auf seine bogenförmig gekrümmten Kufen, die zuvor Lehnen des Hochstuhls gebildet haben können, gestellt werden, so daß der Hochstuhl nunmehr die Funktion eines kippsicheren Schaukelstuhls hat, in dem Kinder bequem sitzen oder nahezu liegen und dadurch ruhiggestellt werden können.
