Abstract
Description
1.The invention relates to a ceiling element for a fire protection false ceiling
with the features of the preamble of
Ceiling elements of the type mentioned are known from DE-U1-8912602. Specifically, the said ceiling element is one Ceiling slab made of mineral fibers and especially around a long slab for exposed wall to wall fire protection ceilings in hallways or like spaces. It includes two mineral fiber plates with inclusion of a free air space at a distance and parallel to each other and is with Using two strip-shaped metal profiles to form a single panel unit summarized, each with a metal profile along the aligned mutually lying long sides of the plate unit is held in grooves.
The narrow sides of the mineral fiber boards are made of mineral fiber board material locked. The metal profiles are also in Cross-section designed so that they are in the associated grooves insertable, upper and lower flanges or edge legs each C-shaped towards the middle of the profile, whereby - based on the Longitudinal edges of the mineral fiber boards - drawn inwards are.
From DE-U1-9107145 it is known the metallic profile strips partially cover. The profile strips are thus partially against you protected from direct fire attack and thus somewhat thermally isolated. The heat transfer into the free air gap between the two Mineral fiber boards are made more difficult by the measures mentioned. On However, optimal protection of the metallic profile strips is not achieved because essential parts of the profile strips that are important for the load-bearing capacity, still in the separation joint of two neighboring, plate-shaped Ceiling elements are exposed. Most of all, those are parts the metallic profile strips one as before unprotected Exposed to heat attack, which is particularly close to the top or at the bottom of the ceiling elements.
The invention is therefore based on the object of ceiling elements continue to optimize the type mentioned so that they increased Fire protection requirements can meet.
To achieve this object, the invention provides with the features of
characterizing part of
With the help of said features, the metallic parts are optimal and thus better than before against high temperatures in the joint area protected with the consequence that the full load-bearing function of the profile strips in the event of a fire attack from above or in the event of a fire attack from remains below longer than before.
