Claims (10)

  1. A device (2) fitted to the rear of a bomblet body (1) designed to aerodynamically brake the bomblet and to stabilise its attitude during descent, comprising a parachute ribbon of a constant width forming a loop (3, 13, 23) of a lengthwise dimension substantially greater than that of the bomblet body (1), characterized in that it comprises, in the fastening region of the loop (3, 13, 23) of the bomblet body (1) a member (4, 14, 24) which extends from one side of this region to the other and which acts to partially deploy the two sections of the loop (3, 13, 23) in the vicinity of this region.
  2. A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said member is a ribbon forming a supplementary loop (4, 14) of a lengthwise dimension substantially less than that of the loop to be deployed.
  3. A device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the two loops (3, 4; 13, 14) are made integral with one another in the fastening region by means of being sewn together and/or being adhesively bonded.
  4. A device according to one of Claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the two loops (3, 4) are on roughly the same axial plane as the bomblet body, the supplementary loop (4) being placed within the other loop (3).
  5. A device according to one of Claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the two loops (13, 14) are respectively on two axial planes roughly perpendicular to one another.
  6. A device according to one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the ribbon forming the supplementary loop (4; 14) is of a constant width roughly equal to that of the other loop (3; 13).
  7. A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said member acts to partially deploy the two sections of the loop (23) is a flexible strip (24) curved along its lengthwise dimension, this strip being applied and made integral to a portion of the loop ribbon to be deployed (23) in the fastening region.
  8. A device according to the Claim 7, characterized in that the said strip is placed on the said ribbon in the opposite direction with respect to the bomblet body (1).
  9. A device according to one of Claims 7 or 8, characterized in that the said curved strip (24) is roughly rectangular and is of a width roughly equal to that of the ribbon to be deployed.
  10. A device according to one of Claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the length of the said curved strip (24) is less than the diametre of the bomblet body (1).
