  • This invention relates to a refrigerator of the forced-air circulation type, such as an upright refrigerator, and comprising a freezer compartment, a refrigeration or preservation compartment and a convertible compartment which can be used at variable temperature, for example around zero degrees or at freezer compartment temperature (-18°C), and comprises a drawer movable along guides provided on the walls of said compartment and associated with a usual door thereof, there being provided at least one air duct connecting the freezer compartment to the convertible compartment through which cold air can flow from the freezer compartment to the convertible compartment, said duct opening into the convertible compartment via an aperture present in the compartment rear wall, at which aperture there is provided a usual valve member, advantageously of gas operation, controlled in its operation by a usual thermostat or the like.
  • a further drawback related to frequent opening of the compartment drawer if at zero degrees is that if it is left open for a certain time, the temperature in the compartment rises considerably above the desired temperature, with consequent possible damage to the food present therein. In this situation, the optimum temperature is again achieved in the compartment only a certain time after closing the drawer, and with considerable stressing of the gas valve, which operates continuously in restoring the desired conditions in the compartment.

  • the panel 22 carries a projection 33 to which one end 34 of a return spring 35 is fixed, its other end 36 being associated with a projection 37 extending from said wall 30. It should be noted that between this latter and the wall 17 there is a usual seal member 40 arranged about said aperture 40.
  • the panel 22 also carries an arm 41, at the end of which there is an element 42 able to move within a cam-shaped guide 43 associated with a member 44 slidable longitudinally within the compartment 3 (ie movable parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the drawer 19).

Claims (10)

  1. Kühlgerät mit einer Vorrichtung zur Änderung der Temperatur in einem Wandelfach (3), das auf verschiedenen Temperaturen gehalten werden kann, mit mindestens einem Gefrierfach (2) und einem Kühl- oder Konservierungsfach (4), wobei das Wandelfach (3) mit einer Tür (9) versehen ist und mindestens ein Luftkanal (12) vorgesehen ist, der ins Wandelfach (3) über zwei Öffnungen (16A, 16B) mündet, von denen die eine (16A) mit einem von einem Thermostat gesteuerten Ventilglied (21) und die andere (16B) mit Schließmitteln (22) versehen ist, die mindestens zwei Arbeitslagen einnehmen können, in der ersten Arbeitslage die zugehörige Öffnung (16B) verschließen, in der zweiten Arbeitslage ihr Durchströmen von Kaltluft erlauben und die in ihrer Bewegung von der einen Arbeitslage in die andere durch mindestens ein Mittel (44) geführt und gesteuert werden, das im Wandelfach (3) in dessen Längsrichtung gleiten kann, gekennzeichnet durch eine Schublade (19), die im Wandelfach (3) in dessen Längsrichtung gleiten kann und an der Tür (9) des Wandelfachs (3) befestigt ist, und durch ein Glied (62), das längs einer mit der Tür (9) verbundenen Führung (65) bewegbar ist und das so angepaßt ist, daß es gemäß seiner Position das gleitende Mittel (44) antreibt, wenn die Tür geschlossen wird.
  2. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Glied (62) eine Nase (61) aufweist, die derart angeordnet ist, das sie mit einem Hebel (57) zusammenwirkt, der mit dem gleitenden Mittel (44) verbunden ist.
  3. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schließmittel durch mindestens eine Platte (22) gebildet sind, die in geführter Weise bewegbar ist und an einem hervorstehenden Teil (29) der Rückwand des Wandelfachs (3) angelenkt ist.
  4. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die bewegbare Platte (22) mit einem Glied (42) verbunden ist, das in geführter Weise in einer zugehörigen Führung (43) bewegbar ist, die mit einem Ende (46) des gleitenden Mittels (44) verbunden ist.
  5. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die bewegbare Platte (22) der Wirkung eines elastischen Rückholelements (35) unterworfen ist, das an der Rückwand des Wandelfachs (3) befestigt ist.
  6. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rückwand des Wandelfachs (3) zwei Teile (17, 30) aufweist, die einander zugekehrt sind, und daß zwischen diesen Teilen (17, 30) ein Dichtungsglied (40) angeordnet ist, das die Mündung (16) des die erzwungene Umluft führenden Kanals (12) umgibt.
  7. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das gleitende Mittel durch ein Glied (44) gebildet ist, das durch Führungselemente (48) getragen wird, welche an der oberen Wand des Wandelfachs (3) angeordnet sind, und das in der Nähe dieser Führungselemente gleitet.
  8. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Führungselemente (48) einen Körper (49) aufweisen, der durch einen im gleitenden Glied (44) gebildeten Längsschlitz (50) geführt ist und der in einem vergrößerten Teil (51) endet, dessen Abmessungen größer als die des Längsschlitzes sind und der außerhalb des Längsschlitzes liegt.
  9. Kühlgerät nach den Ansprüchen 4 und 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das gleitende Glied (44) an einem Ende (53), das fern von dem Ende (46) liegt, mit dem die Führung (43) für das bewegbare, mit der bewegbaren Platte (22) verbundene Glied (42) verbunden ist, einen Führungsstift (54) aufweist, mit dem der Hebel (57) zusammenwirkt und der in einem Lager (58) angelenkt ist, das an der oberen Wand (47) des Wandelfachs (3) befestigt ist, wobei der Hebel (57) mit dem Glied (62) zusammenwirkt.
  10. Kühlgerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schließmittel (22) sich im Raum (25) eines Kastenglieds (26) bewegen, das vor der Mündung (16) des Luftkanals (12) im Wandelfach (3) angeordnet ist und das mindestens eine Öffnung (27) für das Abströmen der durch die genannte Mündung (16) strömenden Luft aufweist.
