Description

La présente invention concerne un ensemble de conditionnement d'un produit cosmétique selon le préambule de la revendication 1.The present invention relates to a set of packaging of a cosmetic product according to the preamble of claim 1.

There is no question in this document, to package a cosmetic product under fluid form.

It is known from US-A-4,706,693 to condition a fluid cosmetic product, such as a cream, impregnating a sponge, the sponge being constituted by a flexible synthetic open cell foam in which cells located on the outer surface are partially closed. According to the above patent the foam impregnated with cosmetic product serves applicator. Before use, the sponges are packed in tearable envelopes made from metal sheets lined with plastic and multiple packed sponges can be stored in one same pot or the same box with a lid. In this type of packaging, sponges cannot contain one or two doses of product.

The present invention relates to a set of packaging of a cosmetic product in fluid form in which a spongy element can contain a number relatively high doses of cosmetic product and, in the event that the cosmetic product is a base of complexion, have a use similar to that of a "compact".

The subject of the present invention is a set of packaging of a cosmetic product defined by the claim 1.

To collect the product, the user compresses the sponge element by hand or with an applicator such as a puff. Under the effect of this compression a dose of fluid is expressed from the element spongy, the dose of fluid expressed being more or less depending on the degree of compression. When the user stops compressing the spongy element, it regains its shape by elasticity. According to the invention, the user can therefore adjust the dose of product removed by more or less compressing the element spongy or compressing the spongy element several times in a row.

The cosmetic product, of which the element is impregnated spongy, must be fluid, i.e. under all form allowing impregnation: in liquid form, as a lotion, as a cream or as loose powder. The mode of operation of this invention is particularly advantageous in the case of liquid cosmetic products; these last are easily manipulated in this form because they don't cannot be spilled and spread.

The packaged cosmetic product can be, for example example, a foundation, an eyeshadow, a "blush", a skin care cream or lotion or a makeup powder.

The spongy element is preferably made up by a flexible synthetic foam with open cells: it can be made of polyurethane foam, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, epoxy resin, or polystyrene. Foam can be molded or cut to the desired shape.

The amount of cosmetic product impregnated in the spongy element varies according to the foam used and the viscosity of the cosmetic product; she can reach up to 80% of the volume of the spongy element.

Advantageously, the spongy element is impregnated by putting the product at the bottom of a housing, making lower the sponge element onto the product in the housing, compressing the sponge element inside of the product, then releasing the pressure, which causes aspiration of the product in the cells of the spongy element.

The spongy element is preferably impregnated before introduction into the packaging unit.

The grid is made of any material flexible enough to be able to deform and sink with the sponge element when you press this one, and then return to its original form under the thrust of the spongy element, when the user stop pressing. The grid is, advantageously, made of polyethylene or polyamide. She is from preferably made up of a woven fabric.

The spongy element and its grid can be fixedly arranged in the receptacle of the housing or they can be removably arranged, the frame now the sponge element and the grid being designed so as to be easily mountable and removable in order to obtain a rechargeable assembly, the refill can consist of a frame, a background, a spongy element and a grid.

According to a preferred embodiment of the packaging assembly according to the present invention, the spongy element rests on the base of the housing receptacle; a partition having, in projection on said basis, at least partially the shape of the spongy element is arranged perpendicularly at said base of the receptacle and forms the housing the spongy element; the compressing frame the sponge element has a parallel flange at the base of the housing receptacle which rests on the edge of said partition, the flange being connected by its internal edge to a skirt inclined inwards of the case, the free edge of which presses on the element spongy and compresses it in the vicinity of its periphery. The outer edge of the collar is, according to a first variant, connected to a second skirt perpendicular to the base of the receptacle, skirt which is fixed by snap-fastening on the external surface of the partition; this second skirt can advantageously constitute the side wall of the receptacle of the housing. According to a second variant, the outer edge of the collar is fixed by a groove-rib system on the inner face of the side wall of the receptacle of the housing.

The packaging unit housing according to the present invention can be divided into several compartments, each of these compartments containing a spongy element impregnated with a product different cosmetics; these different products cosmetics are for example, eyeshadows from different colors. Advantageously, one of the compartments contains a puff for take the cosmetic product and apply it. The puff can be, in particular, constituted by a flexible closed cell synthetic foam.

To better understand the purpose of the invention, we will describe below, purely indicative and in no way limitative, two variants shown in the accompanying drawing.

On this drawing :
  • Figure 1 shows in perspective a packaging assembly according to a first variant of the assembly according to the invention;
  • Figure 2 is a sectional view along II-II of the assembly of Figure 1;
  • Figure 3 shows a sectional view identical to that of Figure 2 when removing the cosmetic product with a finger;
  • Figure 4 also shows a sectional view identical to that of Figure 2 when removing the cosmetic product with a puff;
  • Figure 5 shows a sectional view which shows another variant of the assembly according to the invention.

The packaging shown in Figures 1 to 4 consists of a rectangular housing 1 having a lid 2 and a container 3. The container 3 is divided into two rectangular compartments, the compartment 4 has a sponge containing five foam cells open topped with a woven fabric 6 and the compartment 4 b containing a puff 10. The sponge 5 is compressed near its periphery by a frame 7 which also serves to hold in place the sponge 5 and the woven fabric 6. The cover 2 is fixed by one of its short sides to one of the short sides of the receptacle 3 by means of a hinge 8 so as to be able to pivot relative to said receptacle. On the short sides, opposite the hinge, of the receptacle 3 and of the cover 2 are arranged the two complementary parts 9 a and 9 b of a hook closure device.

As we can see more easily on the Figure 2, the receptacle 3 has a rectangular base 31, which carries a perpendicular partition 32 having a height slightly greater than the thickness sponge 5 in the uncompressed state; the partition 32 is arranged along the four sides of the base 31. The outer face of the partition 32 is provided with a snap bead 33.

The frame 7 has a vertical wall 71, which is fixed by snap-fastening on the partition 32 by means a groove in which comes to fit the bead 33. The vertical wall 71 forms the walls side of receptacle 3 of the housing and it is connected to a collar 72 parallel to the base 31 which rests on the upper edge of the partition 32.

Two rectangular openings 73 a and 73 b , corresponding respectively to compartments 4 a and 4 b , are defined by the collar 72. On the sides of the opening 73 a corresponding to compartment 4 a , the collar 72 is connected to skirts 74 a , 74 b , 74 c , 74 d which are inclined towards the inside of compartment 4 a containing the sponge 5; these skirts 74 a , 74 b , 74 c , 74 d have a height such that their free edge comes to press on the sponge 5 surmounted by the frame 6. This free edge compresses the sponge 5 and holds in place both 'sponge 5 and the weft 6 which is placed on the sponge 5. The compressed sponge 5 forms a dome as can be seen in Figure 2. The opening 73 b of the wall 72 corresponding to compartment 4 b is connected to skirts 75 perpendicular to the base 31 forming the side walls of the compartment 4 b . The puff 10 contained in compartment 4 b is constituted by a closed cell foam.

Lorsque l'utilisateur cesse d'appuyer sur l'éponge 5 avec la houppette 10, l'ensemble (éponge 5 - tissu tramé 6) reprend sa forme de dôme initiale (voir figure 2).When the user wishes to use the cosmetic product contained in sponge 5, it opens the box 1 and takes the product using the puff 10 by pressing on the dome of the sponge 5 (see figure 4). By pressing on the sponge 5, it expresses the cosmetic product contained therein. The product passes through the screened fabric 6 and it comes impregnate the puff 10. The user applies then on the skin the product taken using the Powder puff 10. When the user stops pressing on sponge 5 with powder puff 10, the whole (sponge 5 - woven fabric 6) resumes its dome shape initial (see Figure 2).

L'utilisateur pourrait prélever le produit cosmétique à l'aide d'un doigt à la place de la houppette (voir figure 3).The user could withdraw the product cosmetic using a finger instead of the puff (see figure 3).

Le bord interne de la collerette 172 est relié à une jupe 174 inclinée vers l'intérieur, dont le bord libre vient appuyer sur l'ensemble formé par l'éponge 105 et le tissu tramé 106.Figure 5 shows another variant of the assembly according to the invention in which the receptacle 103 of the housing 101 consists of a base 131 and lateral edges 134. At a certain distance from the edges side is arranged a wall 132 perpendicular at base 131. A frame 107 rests on the edge top of the wall 132. It consists of a horizontal flange 172 fixed by fitting on the upper part of the side walls 134 by a rib-groove system; the rib is made up by the edge of the collar 172 and the groove is carried by the side walls 134. The internal edge of the collar 172 is connected to an inclined skirt 174 inward, the free edge of which presses the assembly formed by the sponge 105 and the woven fabric 106.
