Abstract

A sheet conveyor table for delivering sheets from a printing press has upper and lower portions. The lower portion is secured adjacent a delivery unit of the printing press and the upper portion is releasably attached to the lower portion through a swivel joint and catch coupling. An endless conveyor belt is trained about a pair of guide rollers and a tensioning roller on the upper portion for continuous movement imparted by the rotational force of a drive wheel mounted on the lower portion of the table. A guide plate extends substantially parallel and closely adjacent the conveyor path for guiding sheet materials during transfer. A wedge-shaped suction aperture in the guide plate is adapted for communication with a vacuum source, thereby creating a downwardly directed suction force for braking and guiding the sheet materials during transfer. The suction aperture diverges with respect to the direction of travel of the conveyor belt, so as to create a continually increased vacuum force on the sheets during transfer and thereby progressively brake the sheet movement.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung Zur Verminderung der Geschwindigkeit von Bogen während des Förderns in Aus- bzw. Anlegern von Druckmaschinen.The invention relates to a device for reducing the speed of sheets during conveying in delivery and feeders of printing presses.

Bekannte Bogenfördereinrichtungen dieser Art sind als Saugwalzen oder als über Saugkästen geführte Transportmittel bekannt. Als Transportmittel dienen dabei vorzugsweise gelochte Saugbänder oder Zahnriemen. So ist aus der US-PS 3 389 908 die Verwendung eines Zahnriemens bekannt, der in einer mit Längsnuten versehenen Aussparung in einer Grundplatte geführt ist. Auf der den Zähnen gegenüberliegenden Seite herrscht in der Aussparung der Umgebungsdruck vor, um die Reibung des Zahnriemens zu reduzieren. In dem Raum zwischen sich gegenüberliegenden Zähnen (bei einseitiger Verzahnung) herrscht ein Vakuum vor, welches über seitlich in Förderrichtung des Zahnriemens angeordnete Kanäle angelegt wird.Known sheet conveyors of this type are known as suction rolls or as transport means guided over suction boxes. Der Nachteil dieser Lösung ist, daß durch den Wechsel zwischen offenen und geschlossenen Saugkanälen nur die Zahnlücken aktiv sind und die Bremswirkung lediglich über diese Lücken flächenmäßig verteilt ist. Bedingt durch die Zahnteilung ist der Saugluftabfall periodisch. Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung wird bedingt durch den ansteigenden Querschnitt der Saugöffnung eine erhöhte Bremswirkung bei hohen Fördergeschwindigkeiten realisiert. Der Unterdruck wirkt auf die ganze Fläche und garantiert eine Haltekraft bis zum Bogenende hin. Je nach Bedarf (Schön- und Widerdruck, Karton) können schmale oder breite Transportmittel eingesetzt werden. Durch die zweiteilige Struktur der Einrichtung ist ein Schnellwechsel des Transportmittels möglich. Das Unterteil verbleibt dabei in seiner Lage und das Oberteil wird nach Lösen der Schnappverbindung aus dem Drehgelenk herausgenommen. Bei verschieden breiten Transportmitteln wird lediglich das Oberteil ausgewechselt. Die Saugöffnung kann selbstverständlich auch beidseitig zum Transportmittel, gekoppelt mit einer Ansaugkammer und einer Luftversorgung, angeordnet sein. Damit wird die Haltekraft weiter verstärkt. Das im Unterteil angeordnete Antriebsrad ist für alle Saugbandbreiten passend dimensioniert. Die erfindungsgemäße Lösung ist universell einsetzbar zum Vermindern der Geschwindigkeit der zu fördernden Bogen. Sie ist einsetzbar in Auslegern und auch in Anlegern. Speziell beim Einsatz in Zuführ-/Anlegetischen wird mit dieser Erfindung die kinetische Energie beim Einlaufen der Bogen und das damit verbundene Einlaufdoublieren reduziert.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Dabei zeigt:

Seitlich zum in Förderrichtung 6 umlaufenden Tranportmittel 1 ist ein Gleitblech 2 auf dem Oberteil 11 angeordnet, welches eine keilförmige Saugöffnung 3 aufweist. Diese Saugöffnung 3 ist mit der Ansaugkammer 4 gekoppelt und besitzt in Förderrichtung 6 einen Winkel α von 8°, wobei dessen Scheitelpunkt S an dem dem Stapel abgewandten Ende des Gleitbleches 2 liegt.The device is made in two parts. Claims (2)

Bogenfördereinrichtung in Aus- bzw. Anlegern von Druckmaschinen unter Verwendung eines über Rollen umlaufenden Transportmittels, auf welchem die zu fördernden Bogen angesaugt werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Einrichtung eine zweiteilige Struktur aufweist, bestehend aus: - einem an einem Ausleger bzw. Zuführtisch fixierten Unterteil (12), welches ein drehbar gelagertes, am äußeren Umfang eines Transportmittels (1) angreifendes Antriebsrad (5) trägt und eine lösbare Schnappverbindung (7) sowie ein Drehgelenk (13) aufweist; - einem über die Elemente (7, 13) mit dem Unterteil (12) gekoppeltem Oberteil (11), in welchem eine dem Stapel bzw. den Vordermarken zugewandte Umlenkrolle (8), eine dem Stapel abgewandte Umlenkrolle (9) sowie eine Spannrolle (10) angeordnet und von einem Transportmittel (1) umschlungen ist, weiterhin sich mindestens eine Ansaugkammer (4) befindet, welche mit einer Luftversorgung verbunden ist und auf welchem mindestens ein mit einer Saugöffnung (3) versehenes Gleitblech (2) seitlich zum umlaufenden Transportmittel (1) angeordnet ist, wobei die Saugöffnung (3) in Umlaufrichtung (6) des Transportmittels (1) einen Winkel (α) von 1° - 10° aufweist, dessen Scheitelpunkt (S) an dem dem Stapel bzw. den Vordermarken abgewandten Ende des Gleitbleches (2) sich befindet.
