Abstract
Matériau composite d'isolation électrique comportant un mélange intime de (a) de 5 à 90 % en poids d'un copolymère thermoplastique de tétrafluoroéthylène et de perfluoro (propyle vinyle éther); et (b) de 90 à 5 % en poids de polytétrafluoroéthylène (PTFE) de type dispersion coagulée, ou de PTFE expansé poreux. Un ruban constitué du matériau composite peut être non poreux ou expansé et poreux. On enroule le ruban autour d'un conducteur (C) et on le fritte à une température comprise entre 320 et 450 °C. Une configuration à deux rubans enroulés possédant des couches (A, B) à la fois de ruban expansé poreux et de ruban non poreux assure d'excellentes caractéristiques de résistance dynamique aux coupures et aux éraflures.A composite electrical insulation material comprising an intimate mixture of (a) from 5 to 90% by weight of a thermoplastic copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoro (propyl vinyl ether); and (b) from 90 to 5% by weight of coagulated dispersion type polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), or porous expanded PTFE. A tape made of the composite material can be non-porous or expanded and porous. The ribbon is wound around a conductor (C) and sintered at a temperature between 320 and 450°C. A two-wound tape configuration having layers (A, B) of both porous expanded tape and non-porous tape provides excellent dynamic cut and scuff resistance characteristics.
