Abstract

In a hinge (100) for doors, windows and the like, with two hinge parts (10 and 20) connected pivotably to one another by means of hinge parts (11, 21) and a hinge pin (13), the hinge pin (13) passes through recesses (12, 22) of the hinge parts (11, 21). At least one of the hinge parts is provided with a straight guide (30), on which the hinge pin (13) can be displaced perpendicularly to its axis (14) and fixed for the purpose of adjusting the position of the fastening points of the hinge parts (10, 20). The straight guide (30) consists of at least two pairs of parallel guide faces (31, 32; 33, 34) which are spaced from one another in the axial direction (a) of the hinge pin (13) and which are provided on the one hand on the hinge pin and on the other hand, correspondingly with this, on a guiding part which can be fixed to the hinge part (11, 21). This guiding part is simplified in that it consists of a sleeve (41, 42) which is provided with the axis (a) of said guiding part and which can be pushed, together with the hinge pin (13), into the hinge part (11 or 21) and receives the straight guide (30) and the respective region of the hinge pin (13). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a volume of the preamble of claim 1 and a guide part of the preamble of claim 12 corresponding type.

Such a band can be found in two embodiments from EP 271 053 A1. In both cases, the hinge pin is designed in the area of the straight guide with an approximately square cross section and the recess receiving this part of the hinge pin itself serves as a guide part. It has a rectangular cross-section, which is dimensioned such that the mutually parallel longer recess walls are spaced apart from one another as far as the corresponding (guide surfaces) of the hinge pin and which is constant over the entire length of the recess. The length of this recess is chosen so that the hinge pin can execute the desired adjustment path perpendicular to the hinge pin axis. Due to this geometry, the hinge pin is secured against rotation with respect to the hinge part and - against its direction of adjustment - is secured against tipping. The effort for machining the longer wall sides of the recess of the hinge part depends on the ease of movement required for adjusting the hinge pin. In addition, the lateral distance between the guide surfaces formed by the recess for the hinge pin must be kept within reasonably narrow tolerances in order to avoid rattling or tightening of the hinge pin in the straight guide. Since the tipping safety of the hinge pin within the straight guide must also be ensured in the direction of adjustment of the hinge pin, two guide pins or grub screws are provided, which in the direction of their Axis penetrate a wall of the hinge part, the recess and the hinge pin in the straight guide parallel to the direction of adjustment of the hinge pin. In embodiments with a grub screw, the wall of the hinge part penetrated by it is provided with an internal thread, within which the one grub screw end comes to rest, while the other grub screw end is supported on the opposite end wall of the recess. In embodiments with smooth guide pins, the ends of the guide pins are mounted in both end walls of the recess of the hinge part and secured against slipping out. The guide pin or grub screws gives the straight guide further guide surfaces which are formed on the one hand by the grub screw or guide pin outer surfaces and on the other hand by the corresponding perforations in the hinge pins.

The guides formed by the guide pin or grub screws cause considerable additional effort and high precision in the arrangement of their bearing holes in the hinge part, which must be exactly aligned with the holes in the hinge pin, both in the manufacture of the individual parts and in their assembly to the finished band. In addition, the hinge part is weakened by the further bores and the rectangular cross section of the recess of the straight guide in the hinge part requires a relatively large cross-sectional shape of the hinge part, especially since the band pin, which is square in cross section, is voluminous in one half.

The invention has for its object to simplify a volume of the preamble of claim 1 and a guide part of the type corresponding to the preamble of claim 12.

This object is achieved by the invention set out in claims 1 and 12, respectively.

In addition to the simpler manufacture and assembly, as well as easier compliance with the tolerances in the field of straight guidance, the invention u. a. achieved that it allows even tapes with relatively small dimensions, a continuous hinge adjustment with the door or window or the like. Mounted tape. In particular, the invention enables installation in band parts with circular bearing bores, as are usually produced. It is only necessary to make an access hole for the adjusting screw in order to be able to use the adjusting unit according to the invention in exchange.

While the invention is based on the basic idea of providing a sleeve which can be pushed into the recess of the hinge part for the hinge pin together with the hinge pin and which receives the straight guide of the hinge pin, it is now possible to implement this basic idea in practice in a large number of embodiments:
In order to ensure the non-rotatable mounting of the straight guide with respect to the band part receiving the straight guide, the sleeves can be fixed in any way in the recess of the hinge part, for. B. also by sticking, screwing from the outside u. Like .. However, a positive connection between the sleeve and hinge part according to claim 2 is particularly simple and effective. The embodiment according to claim 3 is particularly preferred. It is understood that the recess in the hinge part has a clear cross section corresponding to the positive connection. In the embodiment according to claim 3, particularly small hinge dimensions on the one hand and a right / left usability and a predeterminability of the adjustment direction of the hinge pin with respect to the door, window or frame plane at which the hinge is used are possible.

The number of sleeves participating in the straight guide and their respective length in the axial direction of the hinge pin can be freely selected in accordance with the space available for the hinge part. So it is z. B. possible to provide a single elongated sleeve which has the straight guide over its entire length, the insertion length of the hinge pin into the hinge part in approximately the appropriate length. The hinge safety of the hinge pin with respect to the hinge part is greater, the further apart the two extreme positions of the straight guide in the direction of the axis of the hinge pin. Two corresponding guide surfaces for the straight guidance, which are arranged in positions that are as far apart as possible with respect to the available length of the hinge pin, have proven to be particularly advantageous; If necessary, further corresponding guide surfaces of the straight guide can be provided between these extreme positions. While it is now possible per se to provide independent sleeves according to the invention in the individual positions having guide surfaces, it is preferred to connect the sleeves to one another in accordance with claim 4 or, preferably, in accordance with claim 5. This will not only the assembly, d. H. the insertion of the hinge pin together with sleeves into the recess of the hinge part and the rotation of the sleeves are simplified, but also the reaction forces of the hinge pin on the hinge part are distributed over a larger area; this is particularly useful for tapes with relatively small dimensions.

While in principle it can remain free how the at least one sleeve according to the invention and the hinge pin, preferably made of plastic, are put together in such a way that the sleeve encompasses the hinge pin to a sufficient extent, the sleeve is preferably provided with at least one longitudinal slot which allows insertion or inserting the hinge pin into the sleeve in a direction approximately perpendicular to its axis. That's the way it is e.g. B. possible to form the sleeve from two shell halves, which are brought up on both sides of the hinge pin. With such a longitudinal division or double longitudinal slit of the sleeve, sicn can touch the dividing surfaces in the assembled state enclosing the hinge pin and also with one another, e.g. B. are connected by welding or gluing; hinge-like elements, such as one or more thin skins, can also be provided on one of the longitudinal division surfaces. Especially in the case of sleeves made of plastic by injection molding, this allows simple manufacture and assembly, since the two sleeve halves, which serve as a hinge, can be produced as a single component in a position that is opened by 180 °. But it is also possible to provide the sleeve with a single longitudinal slot, the sleeve material being either highly elastically deformable, so that the slot for inserting the hinge pin transverse to the hinge pin axis should be sufficiently widened, or the opening widths of the longitudinal slot become - as preferred - selected in accordance with claim 8. The sleeve mounted on the hinge pin is captive by the measure of claim 9.

While it is generally sufficient to provide guide surfaces on the band journal and, correspondingly, on the sleeve (s) perpendicular to the direction of adjustment of the hinge pin, a paired arrangement of the guide surfaces in the individual sleeve positions (according to claim 10) is preferred.

While it is fundamentally possible to arrange the mutually corresponding guide surfaces in the interior of the sleeve on the one hand and on the hinge pin on the other hand in a variety of ways, in principle also one provided in each sleeve position and anchored there in the sleeve To use hinge pins in the adjustment direction (displacement direction) of the hinge pin pointing guide pin, as is known from EP 271 053 A2, the embodiment according to claim 7 is preferred. According to this arrangement, edge recesses are formed in the outer surface of the hinge pin, which correspond to inwardly directed thickenings provided on the sleeves, the surfaces of the edge recesses and thickenings serving at least in part, but preferably entirely as guide surfaces. This design can in principle be implemented in the most varied cross-sectional designs of the hinge pin, in particular also in the circular hinge pin cross sections preferred here. In contrast to the hinge pin known from EP 271 053 A2, the main cross section can be the same over the entire hinge pin length; in the length sections of the hinge pin that carry the guide surfaces, only the edge recesses have to be incorporated into the hinge pin, which is possible with great precision in a relatively simple manner. The cross sections of the edge recesses seen in the direction of adjustment of the hinge pin can in principle be freely selected and can therefore also be in the form of a segment of a circle, triangular or dovetail groove. Rectangular cross sections, however, have the advantage of being easy to manufacture and having particularly good guiding properties. Since the normals of the surfaces of the edge recesses necessarily point in different directions (in the case of a triangular cross section in two directions, in the case of a rectangular cross section in three directions and in the case of a circular segment cross section in infinitely many directions), they can also have the function of tilt protection in addition to the guiding function exert the hinge pin in the plane of the adjustment direction; this is the case if, as preferred, the corresponding thickenings in the sleeve interior the edge recesses in the cross-sectional shape and the cross-sectional dimensions (taking into account sufficient clearance) correspond identically. This effect is particularly good in the preferred rectangular cross sections of the edge recesses, since the axially parallel surface of the edge recess serves exclusively as a guide surface of the hinge pin for straight guidance (relocability), while the two surface areas of the edge recess oriented perpendicular to the hinge axis exclusively take over the function of securing the hinge pin against tipping . Because of this exact separation of functions, the play on the two types of guide surfaces can also be specified separately, that is also differently.

The aforementioned components to be used according to the invention are not subject to any special exceptional conditions in terms of their size, shape, material selection and technical conception, so that the selection criteria known in the respective field of application can be used without restriction.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the band labeled 100 in total consists of the following main components:
a first, in particular on the front surface of the wing (not shown in the drawing), a door, a window or the like.
a second, in particular on the front surface of the (not shown) fixed frame of the door, the window or the like. Band part 20 fastened, which engages over a hinge part 11 of the first band part 10 with a hinge part 21 and there by a, usually vertically Extending recesses 12 and 22 of the hinge parts 11 and 12 for pivoting through its hinge pin 13 is pivotally connected to the first hinge part 10,
a straight guide 30 provided in at least one of the hinge parts - here the hinge part 11 - on which the hinge pin 13 can be displaced and fixed perpendicular to its axis 14 in order to adjust the position of the attachment points on the fixed frame or the sash and
that in at least two positions c and d seen in the axial direction a of the hinge pin 13 and spaced apart from one another each have corresponding guide surfaces 31, 33 and 32, 34 (FIG. 2), one of the guide surfaces 31, 32 on the hinge pin 13 itself and the other , so that corresponding guide surfaces 33, 34 are provided on a guide part (component 40) which can be fixed on the hinge part 11,
and an externally operable fastening device 50 for fastening the hinge pin 13 in an reached position.

The adjustment of the hinge pin in the hinge part according to the invention can take place both parallel to the wing surface in order to adjust the arrangement of the wing in the clear opening of the fixed frame, and perpendicular to the wing surface in order to cope with different detection dimensions and to set the contact pressure of the seals.

The guide part 40 of the straight guide 30, which is particularly clearly recognizable in its details in FIGS. 5a to 5c, is designed as a longitudinally slotted sleeve made of plastic and, viewed in the axial direction a of the hinge pin 13, consists of three sections arranged one behind the other, namely a first according to the invention Sleeve 41, an adjoining connecting sleeve 46 and an adjoining second sleeve 42 according to the invention. Sleeves 41 and 42 are in the two extreme positions c and d of component 40. The entire component 40 has a continuous circular-cylindrical outer surface, in which an opening 53 for an adjusting screw 51 of the fixing device 50 and the longitudinal slots 43, 44 and 47 opposite the opening 53 are provided and which only have a semicircular cross section which extends over their entire length Outer longitudinal rib 45 and a collar which serves as a push-in stop 48 and is flared outwards. The inner sleeve cross sections can be seen particularly clearly from FIG. 5c: while the inner clear sleeve cross section in the area of the connecting sleeve 46 is U-shaped and the clear width (opening width f) of this cross section is equal to the diameter h of the hinge pin 13, these are also U- shaped clear cross sections of the sleeves 41 and 42 as wide (opening width e) as the hinge pin 13 in the region of its edge recesses 16, wherein the inner flank surfaces of the U-shaped cross section of the sleeves 41 and 42 serve as guide surfaces 33 and 34, which are spaced so far apart are how the hinge pin is wide in the area of the edge recesses 16 (hinge pin width g, FIG. 2).

Due to these opening cross-sections of the longitudinal slots 43, 44 and 47 and the equally wide and equally high clear dimensions inside the sleeve, the hinge pin can be inserted into the component 40 from the side, i.e. approximately at right angles to its axial direction a, and can also rotate and rotate within this component held in a tilt-proof position in both directions and moved within the maximum adjustment path in the adjustment direction (displacement direction b). This adjustment or shift can, for. B. with the already known from EP 271 053 A2 fixing device 50, the adjusting screw 51 is as long as the diameter of the recess 12 of the hinge part 11 and penetrates the hinge pin 13 in a threaded bore 52 and thus together with the component 40 and the hinge pin 13 in the axial direction a of the hinge pin can be inserted into the recess 12 of the hinge part 11 and is supported with its front ends on the side walls of the recess 12. The component 40 is perforated in the area of these two support points (longitudinal slot 47 and perforation 53). The adjusting screw 51 is accessible via an access bore 54 in the lateral surface of the hinge part 11. Rotation of the adjusting screw 51 - as is known per se - causes a displacement of the hinge pin 13 with respect to the hinge part 11 in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction a of the hinge pin.

The hinge pin 13 is provided with edge recesses 16 with a rectangular cross section, which are provided in positions c and d in pairs arranged opposite one another and have flat guide surfaces 31, 32 on their base surface. The upper and lower side surfaces of the recesses 16, which are arranged at right angles to this, also serve as guide surfaces and at the same time serve to prevent the hinge pin from tilting in the plane of its direction of displacement b. As can be seen particularly well from FIG. 2, the clear dimensions of the guide part (component 40) are matched exactly to the outer dimensions of the hinge pin 13, with detents 49 on the longitudinal edges of the longitudinal slots 43 and 44 (FIGS. 5a to 5c) to prevent the component from being lost 40 serve before insertion into the hinge part 11. This insertion takes place in a precisely predetermined angular position with respect to the insertion direction, which coincides with the axial direction a) of the hinge pin. For this purpose, the longitudinal rib 45 is used in conjunction with longitudinal grooves 15, which are provided on the edge of the recess 12 of the hinge part 11 (FIG. 4). Otherwise, the outside diameter of the component 40 is equal to the inside diameter of the recess 12.

Due to the fact that the recess 12 has four longitudinal grooves 15 arranged offset by 90 ° to one another, the components 40 can be used left / right and the direction of displacement b) of the hinge pin 13 can be aligned parallel to the installation plane of the window or door (as in 1) or perpendicular to it, if the access bore 54 is also arranged vertically. The insertion end stop 48 of the component 40 interacts with a corresponding frustoconical extension on the respective insertion side of the hinge part 11.
