Abstract

The invention relates to a necklace fastener or a chain part for jewellery chains, in particular for tubular braiding, consisting of a divided hollow body and the hollow body parts being connected to one another with positive locking. The ends (8, 9) of the chain are each arranged on the body parts; in this case, they each form a separation joint (b, c) on the hollow body parts (1, 2). The hollow body parts (1, 2) can be rotated relative to one another. A separation joint (a) of the hollow body and the separation joints (b, c) lie in at least one position in three planes at an angle to one another, as a result of which - by means of corresponding rotation of the hollow body parts (1, 2) - the necklace can be made to be variable. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention is based on a clasp (hereinafter also referred to as a necklace clasp in the description) or a chain part for jewelry chains with the features contained in the preamble of claim 1.

Such a clasp is known from DE-U-87 00 964.1. A disadvantage of these closures is that they can be used unsatisfactorily as closures for jewelry chains, in particular in the form of cords or tubes, since they do not prevent twisting and / or any kinking of the jewelry chain.

From FR 26 13 193 A1 a two-part box-shaped clasp is known, which has an inserted snap ring between the inner grooves of one part and the outer grooves of the second part.

A disadvantage of the clasp known from FR 26 13 193 A1 is that it does not allow an individual adaptation of a necklace of any cutout shape.

Furthermore, a kit of mutually movable, interconnected components is known from DE 37 39 743 A1. This kit consists of components in the form of geometric block bodies, the block bodies having at least on their circumference a plurality of flat contact surfaces for adjacent block bodies. The block bodies are connected to one another by connecting elements.

The present invention is based on the problem of developing the known closure in such a way that it can also be used as a jewelry chain part and through this a jewelry chain can assume different geometric shapes.

This problem is solved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments are the subject of the dependent claims.

The necklace clasp or chain part for jewelry chains according to the invention is characterized in that the chain connections on the hollow body parts are each arranged to form a further parting line. The parting line of the hollow body and the further parting lines of the chain end connections lie in at least one position in three mutually angled planes. As a result, a variable necklace can be realized by correspondingly rotating the hollow body parts, which individually allows each cutout shape or any desired wearing shape. The connections of the chain ends lying at an angle to one another can advantageously be used as a handle for opening the hollow body.

The necklace clasp or chain part consists of a split hollow body, which is more advantageously connected and detachable at its parting line on the one hand by means of an outer rib on the other hand by means of an overlapping inner groove and has an inserted snap ring which acts as a rib between the inner grooves of one part and the outer grooves of the second part. This has the advantage that the necklace clasp or the chain part is secured against automatic opening. Depending on the use of the snap ring, an adjustable tension is possible, which holds the parts of the necklace clasp or chain part fixed or rotatable to each other.

According to the development according to claim 3, the chain ends are each rotatably connected to the hollow body parts. The twistable connection of the chain ends to the clasp or the chain part prevents twisting of a necklace. This connection of the chain ends to the hollow body parts also has the advantage that turning back is prevented in the case of hose chains which have a higher rigidity.

Advantageously, the two chain ends are connected via perforations on the hollow body parts with edge gradation and inner groove and connecting ring with outer groove as an engagement at the perforations with a joint and an intermediate snap ring. This has the advantage that a simple and secure rotatable connection between the chain ends and the hollow body parts is created. This design also has the further advantage that the risk of breakage at the connection point is reduced, as occurs, for example, in the case of soldered chain end connections. This is particularly supported by claim 5.

According to the development according to claim 6, parallel or conical intermediate rings with a corresponding snap ring connection on both sides can be used interchangeably on the parting lines and assembled into a chain formation. The intermediate rings can also be designed in a non-round shape, which creates an optical variety.

In the case of non-circular hollow bodies, one hollow body part advantageously has a cylindrical extension with an outer groove and the other hollow body part has a perforation with an inner groove as an overlap and an intermediate snap ring.

Advantageously, the hollow body parts on the parting line are secured by means of cams or the like against rotation by locking. This ensures a stable chain formation.

In particular, when the necklace clasp or chain part is designed with cams, it is advantageous if the snap ring is located in a groove bearing that tapers conically on one side and allows the split hollow body parts to be rotated relative to one another by spreading with the detent present, so that a new locking position can be assumed.

If the jewelry chain is a tubular braid, it is advantageous if the jewelry chains are accessible at their open ends on the necklace clasp or the chain part, so that the core strands can be interchangeably inserted into the tubular braid.

The problem of kinks often appears in hose meshes. The kinks can be smoothed according to claim 11 by providing a core with a ball end on both sides as the core strands in the tubular braid, so that the end balls smooth the kinks when pulled through the tubular braid.

It is advantageous if the ball ends are designed with hooks or eyes. This has the advantage that the core can be pulled more easily through the hose network.

The necklace clasp consists of two divided hemispheres 1 and 2. The hemisphere 1 has an edge step 3 with an outer groove 4. The hemisphere 2 has its own overlap 5 with an inner groove 6. A snap ring 7 is arranged in between. The clasp has a parting line a. The two hemispheres 1 and 2 can be rotatably and detachably connected according to FIG.

It can be seen from FIG. 4 that the two chain ends 8 and 9 are each arranged on the hemispheres 1 and 2 to form a parting line b and c.

Returning to FIGS. 1 and 2, it can be seen from these that the hemisphere 1 has a perforation 40 with edge gradation 10 in which an inner groove 11 is trained. The hemisphere 2 has a perforation 39 with edge gradation 10 and inner groove 11. Furthermore, a connecting ring 12 is provided, which has an engagement 13 and an outer groove 14. The connection is made with the interposition of a snap ring 15, so that the connection can be rotated or, with a corresponding fit, rotatable and then detachable or non-detachable. The connecting rings 12 for the chain ends 8 and 9 are conical and each have an annular recess 16. The hose chain ends 8, 9 each have an annular bulge 17 and can thus be fastened to the respective connecting ring 12 by means of an inserted snap ring 18, as can be seen in FIG. 2.

According to Figure 3, a core strand 19 can be inserted interchangeably in the jewelry chain, which can also be designed as a soul with a ball end 20 on both sides with hook 21 on the one hand and on the other hand with eyelet 22 and can thus be used to pull through the jewelry chain at kinks with appropriate dimensions for smoothing can.

Fig. 4, wie eingezeichnet, ermöglicht wird. As can be seen particularly from FIGS. 1 to 4, the parting lines a, b and c are arranged in three mutually angled planes, a closure opening being made possible in particular with an angled arrangement according to FIG. 4, as shown. 4a shows a different constellation due to the rotation along the separating joints a, b and c.

5a ersichtlich, ist der Zylinderteil 26 als Randabsatz mit Aussenrille 27 vorgesehen, welche mit Lochungen und Innenrille als Übergriff, wie vorgeschildert, zusammenwirken.FIGS. 5 and 5a also show an embodiment with conical ring bodies 23 additionally inserted between hemispheres 1 and 2, and a divisible cube 24, 25 interposed between two balls 1 and 2. In the case of such non-circular hollow bodies, as shown in the sectional view fig. 5a, the cylinder part 26 is provided as a shoulder with an outer groove 27, which cooperate with perforations and an inner groove as an overlap, as described above.

A further embodiment of a necklace clasp or chain part is shown in FIGS. 6 to 6b. The hollow body is a cylindrical hollow body which has a parting line a which extends obliquely to the radial plane. FIG. 6a shows the hollow body in a different rotational position than in FIG. 6. The hollow body parts 28, 29 are connected to one another by means of a snap ring connection 30 on the cylinder part 31. The hollow body parts 28 and 29 each have a chain end connection 32 and 33, respectively.

For this purpose, the hollow body part 28 has troughs 35 in the parting line a and the hollow body part 29 has cams 34 which snap into the troughs 35. A snap ring 36 is arranged in a groove bearing 37 that tapers conically on one side and has a corresponding perforation 38. By expanding the torsion of the hollow body parts 28 and 29, the hollow body parts 28 and 29 can over the latching, which is formed by the cams 34 and troughs 35, are brought away, for example in order to get into a new latching position.
