Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a packaging of a pump with two shells made of heat and / or sound-absorbing material, which surround the pump and form a pump insulating layer in the assembled and connected state of the pump, the shells having recesses on the inside that face the outside of the pump are reproduced.
It is known from US Pat. No. 3,395,775 to surround devices with a foam layer in order to reduce vibrations and noises. From German published patent application 1941452 it is known to surround pipe fittings with two shells which have foam on the inside in order to mount the pipe fittings in a heat-insulated manner.
From German published patent application 3109624 it is known to surround pumps with two heat-insulating shells, the shells serving as transport protection before assembly. In the case in which the known shells completely enclose a pump, optimal protection is provided during transport, but the pump is no longer visible in the assembled state, so that neither lights nor display devices for receiving information are exposed nor are operating elements actuated can be. If, on the other hand, the shells are designed so that parts of the pump or pump motor are exposed, the protection during transport is insufficient.
The object of the invention is to improve the packaging of a pump so that it offers optimum protection during pump transport and, when the pump is in the assembled state, leaves the inner pump parts free, which must be accessible for operating the pump.
This object is achieved in that at least one of the shells has a further recess, which is modeled on the outside of the pump and in which the pump can be used in a position which is rotated by 90 degrees to the position in which the pump in the first Position in the shells.
With such a design, the pump can be placed in two different positions in the packaging. In the first position used for transport, the packaging completely surrounds the pump and in the second position the parts necessary for operation and information are exposed, so that in the second position the pump assumes the assembly position.

The packaging has a front shell 1 and a
Both
In the assembly position (FIG. 4, FIG. 5), the pump with the outer region 5 of the motor extends beyond the packaging, the motor penetrating the front
Furthermore, the two
