Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Haushaltgerät, z. B. auf eine Geschirrspülmaschine, mit einer oberhalb eines Sockelrücksprunges um eine horizontale Achse schwenkbar angeordneten Tür und mit einem als gesondertes Bauteil ausgebildeten Türunterteil.The invention relates to a household appliance, for. Ein solches Haushaltgerät ist z. B. durch die DE-OS 27 16 952 bekannt geworden. Bei der bekannten Bauart besteht die Tür aus der Gerätetür, die im oberen Bereich der Anzeigeelemente einen ersten Blendenstreifen und eine sich daran anschließende zweite Blende (Türblende) trägt, die bis unten reicht und mit geringem Abstand oberhalb der Achse endet. An diese Türblende grenzt eine dritte Blende (Sockelblende), die im wesentlichen den Sockelbereich verdeckt und flächenbündig mit der Türblende angeordnet ist. Die Türblende und die Sockelblende bestehen bei der bekannten Bauart aus Holz und decken nahezu die gesamte Frontseite des Haushaltgerätes ab. Die Sockelblende grenzt bis auf einen schmalen Spalt unmittelbar an die Türblende und ist über sogenannte unsichtbare Scharniere an der Türblende befestigt, die einen Öffnungswinkel von 180° zulassen. An der Rückseite der Sockelblende greift eine Zugfeder an, die mit ihrem anderen Ende am Maschinengehäuse befestigt ist. Beim Öffnen der Tür wird dic Sockelblende zunächst mitgenommen, im weiteren Verlauf stößt sie jedoch gegen einen Gehäuseanschlag und wird abgeknickt, so daß ihr bodenseitiger Absschnitt nicht gegen den Sockel stoßen kann. Beim Schließen der Tür wird die Sockelblende durch die Zugfeder in ihre Ausgangslage gezogen. Diese Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung bei einem eingangs genannten Haushaltgerät dadurch gelöst, daß das Türunterteil, von der Tür getrennt, gelenkig mit dem Sockel bzw. dem Gehäuse verbunden und über einen Lenker derart an der Tür aufgehängt ist, daß es bei geschlossener Tür bis auf einen Spalt an der Türunterkante anliegt und beim Öffnen der Tür durch Eigengewicht nach unten bewegt wird. Damit wird eine Bauart vorgeschlagen, mit der auf einfache Weise ein Einschwenken des Türunterteiles in den Sockelrücksprung verhindert wird. Dies ist besonders vorteilhaft für Geräte, bei denen die Tür so lang ist, daß sie nicht in den vorhandenen Raum des Sockelrücksprunges eingeschwenkt werden kann. Des weiteren ist die Erfindung anzuwenden bei solchen Bauarten, bei denen die Lage der Drehachse ein Einschwenken des Türunterteiles in den Sockelrücksprung verhindert. Die Bewegung des Türunterteiles wird gesteuert über den Lenker, der in Ausgestaltung der Erfindung z. B. als Zugband ausgebildet ist. Die Erfindung ermöglicht einen sicheren Bewegungsablauf und einen einfachen Aufbau bei hoher Stabilität. Auch Topfbohrungen für Scharniere, wie bei der bekannten Bauart, sind nicht erforderlich. Es ergibt sich ein gleicher Grundaufbau für Unterbaugeräte und freistehende Geräte. Durch die Erfindung kann ein variabler Spaltabstand bis zum Null-Abstand realisiert werden. Eine mögliche Nachrüstung von Seriengeräten ist möglich.
