Diese ist mit der Erfindung so erheblich gesteigert, daß die Versteifungs-Vorrichtung im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik nach der gattungsbildenden DE-C-37 29 966 ohne einen materialaufwendigen Rahmen ausgebildet werden kann. Eine lediglich abschnittsweise im Querschnitt gezeigte Hubkolben-Brennkraftmaschine 1 umfaßt ein Kurbelgehäuse 2 mit Kurbelgehäusewänden 3 und 4. Ein zwischen diesen angeordneter Kurbeltrieb 5 umfaßt eine Kurbelwelle 6 mit Ausgleichsgewichten 7 beiderseits eines diametral angeordneten Hubzapfens 8 für ein Pleuel 9 zu einem nicht gezeigten Kolben. Leitflächen 14, 14' und 15, 15' und 16, 16' angeordnet sind. Diese Prall- bzw. Leitflächen stehen in ihren einander zugewandten Endbereichen mit zu den Schenkeln 12 im wesentlichen parallelen, gegenseitig beabstandeten Tragwänden 22, 22' in Verbindung, zwischen denen auf die Bewegungskontur 23 des großen Pleuel-Lagerauges 20 abgestellt angepaßte Prall- bzw.
