Description
The invention relates to a patient surface, the foot part is adjustable in height independently of the back and seat part and can be completely inserted under the back and seat part in every lowered position of the seat and back part.
If the patient bed surface z. B. used as a delivery bed, then the foot section must be removed during the birth process so that midwife and doctor have free access to the parturient.
Before the birth process begins, the lying surface of the delivery bed should allow the woman giving birth to rest and comfort. To do this, the foot section must form a flat surface together with the back and seat sections.
Childbirth beds are known so far in which the foot section can be moved independently and is completely removed and moved away from the rest of the bed section. Such a solution is complex since both bed parts require their own height drives. In addition, the removed foot section requires additional space in the delivery room.
In other known childbirth beds, the foot part is attached to the back and seat part in such a way that it can be swung back or pushed under these parts. GB-A-534 921 describes a patient lying surface, the foot part of which can be inserted under the back and seat part. With this solution, the overall construction as well as the coupling and connecting parts between the foot part and the rest of the delivery bed are difficult and complex to design, so that the necessary safety against tipping and bending strength is ensured when the foot part is extended.
The object of the invention is to provide a patient bed surface, the foot part of which is height-adjustable independently of the back and seat part and can be inserted under these parts in the lowered position at any height position of the back and seat part.
This is achieved with a motorized height-adjustable patient bed, whose bed surface foot section is independently height-adjustable on a swivel construction.
Two symmetrically arranged scissors are provided. The lower ends of the scissor legs are articulated to longitudinal guides on the non-height-adjustable chassis of the patient bed surface and the upper ends of these scissor legs support the protruding end of the footrest part in the longitudinal guides provided there.
The lower ends of the other scissor legs are supported on the floor via castors, both in the lowered and retracted position and in the extended state to complete the lying surface. The upper ends of these scissor legs are only pivotally but not slidably articulated on the bed surface foot part, and this is coupled with the height-adjustable part of the patient bed surface to complete the bed surface.

The lying surface foot part 17 is rotatably connected to the upper ends of a pair of
If the lying surface foot part 17 has to be inserted under the lying surface back and seat parts, the
The arrangement of the pairs of
