In a roller bearing for a conical crusher in which a vertically arranged drive part (8) is rotatably mounted on a base part (1), a crusher cone (10) being mounted inclined with respect to the vertical and freely rotatably at the upper end of said drive part, in order to simply the mounting and at the same time reduce the sealing problems, it is proposed that the roller bearing should consist exclusively of a common hollow cylindrical outer part (3) in which two inner rings (2, 9), one lying behind the other in the axial direction, are supported via roller elements (4), the outer part (3) being part of the drive part (8) and the first inner ring (2) being connected to the base part (1), whilst the second ring (9) which is inclined and offset eccentrically with respect to the first bears the crusher cone (10). …<IMAGE>…

Description

The invention relates to a roller bearing for a cone crusher, in which a vertically arranged drive part is rotatably mounted on a foot part, at the upper end of which a crusher cone is inclined to the vertical and is freely rotatable.

Such bearings have become known in many variants. DE-OS 34 01 722 shows such a roller bearing, in which a vertical shaft driven by a motor is mounted in a foot part by means of a roller bearing. At its upper end, this shaft carries a second roller bearing, which is inclined and eccentrically offset to the first roller bearing and which, on the other hand, supports the crusher cone. Since these roller bearings are unprotected to the outside, complex sealing measures had to be used in this known embodiment in order to adequately protect the bearings against the dust accumulating during operation.

The invention has for its object to provide a more compact, thus easier and cheaper storage for a cone crusher compared to the known prior art, which also has much lower sealing problems than the known bearings.

The invention achieves this object in that the roller bearing consists exclusively of a common hollow cylindrical outer part, in which two inner rings lying axially one behind the other are located over roller bodies support, there is, the outer part is part of the drive part, and the first inner ring is connected to the foot part, while the second, which is inclined and eccentrically offset to the first, carries the crusher cone. Characterized in that the common outer ring covers the interior containing the rolling elements, there is only a gap to be sealed between the upper end of the outer race and the crusher cone, which gap can be sealed in a known manner by labyrinth seals. In contrast, the bearing gap is located at the lower end in the area of the foot part in which the drive means are also located. This space is separated from the part of the cone crusher in which dust is generated.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in longitudinal section.

On the foot part 1 of the cone crusher, a first inner ring 2 of a roller bearing is screwed, between which and the outer ring 3 of the roller bearing roll cylindrical rollers 4, which are arranged in a known manner as cross rollers, that is, that the axes of successive cylindrical rollers in a known manner at an angle of 90 ° to each other.

At the lower end of the outer ring 3, a ring gear 5 is screwed, in whose teeth the bevel pinion 6 engages, which on the z. B. is fastened in a manner not shown driven by an electric motor drive shaft 7.

The outer ring 3 together with the ring gear 5 form the drive part 8 of the cone crusher.

In the upper area of the outer ring 3 there is a second ring of cylindrical rollers 4 which roll in a second inner ring 9 which is inclined and offset eccentrically with respect to the first inner ring 2. The crusher cone 10 is screwed onto this second inner ring 9.

The function of the crusher cone has not changed compared to known designs by the roller bearing according to the invention. Only the storage itself was simplified and, in particular, the sealing problems which were considerable with conventional bearings were eliminated.

It is understood that the invention is not limited to a roller bearing in which crossed rollers are used as the rolling elements. Rather, any known roller bearing can be used, which is able to absorb radial and axial forces, as well as occurring tilting moments.
