Description

The invention relates to a wrapping package for chocolates, in which the praline is wrapped in a decorative printed envelope made of a flat and flexible and heat-sealable packaging material and has two overlapping envelope folds on the chocolate bottom, which are connected to one another by heat sealing to close the envelope.

A known wrapping package for chocolates of this type has a two-layer casing, which is formed from two blanks lying one above the other, the blank coming to lie on the outside of the wrapper consisting of a decorative printed film made of biaxially stretched polypropylene (OPP) and the blank on the package side consisting of a composite which, on the decor side, comprises an aluminum foil painted with a base color, which is connected to a paper layer on the packaged goods side. On the packaging machine, the printed OPP film and the composite film are each pulled off the roll in tape form, both cuts are cut to length and with a protruding edge of the OPP film cut lying one above the other then the wrap is made over the chocolate and finally on the two overlapping envelope folds by briefly Press on a hot sealing tool and connect the protruding edge of the OPP film on the envelope fold on the top to the outer OPP film layer of the envelope fold underneath by heat sealing.

However, this well-known wrapping package for chocolates is now very complex to build and manufacture: the packaging machine must be fed two webs of packaging material, which are then cut to length independently and laid on top of one another in a defined manner in order to enclose the wrapping material into which the chocolate is wrapped form.

Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention, as characterized in the claims, achieves the object of specifying a wrapping package of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is less complex and which is easier to produce than the package described above.

The invention is explained in detail below using an example.

To produce the wrapper of the wrapping package, an aluminum foil web with a thickness between 0.007 to 0.015 mm, but in particular 0.010 mm, is provided on one side with a primer primer coat with an aqueous acrylate lacquer and on the other side with a wet laminating adhesive based on styrene-butadiene with an application amount 1.5 g / m² with a sulfite paper web with a grammage between 20 and 40 g / m². The width of the web of packaging material thus produced is a multiple of the later length l of the packaging material blank used for wrapping the chocolate.

The packaging material is then - after subdivision - delivered to the packer in individual webs with a width equal to the later cut length.

Fig. 1 shows a top view of the decorative front of a section of such a single web 1 with a width equal to the cut length 1 and the lateral cut edges 2 and the lines 3, along which the packaging material web 1 is divided into cuts 4 in the packaging machine. 5 designates the rectangular partial area in which the hot-melt adhesive lacquer is printed on the back of the packaging material, while tactile marks 6 are printed on the decorative front side, with the aid of which the cutting to length of the web is controlled in blanks. The packaging material web has on its decorative side inside of the respective blank 4 has a so-called silk gloss embossing, indicated by 7, with the structure of a fine cross line grid. This silk gloss embossing 7 is left out of a rectangular drawing field 8, for example, which has a different basic color than the rest of the surface. In this character field 8, the packaging material is advantageously embossed within an applied label 9 or character.

The procedure for attaching the decorative print and embossing to the packaging material web is as follows.

The packaging material web produced as described above is provided with a decorative or informative print on a nitro lacquer base on the pre-coated side using a gravure printing process, e.g. in a multi-color printing unit, and in a so-called back printing unit on the back of the composite in a limited area a hot melt lacquer based on EVA with an order quantity 3 - 4 g / m² printed on the packaging material. Then the packaging material web passes through two embossing stations in succession. In the first, the cross line structure is produced by deep embossing - with a depth of 0.010-0.035 mm, in particular 0.020 mm and about 33 lines per cm - the character fields 8 being left out. In the second embossing station, the embossing takes place within the inscription 9 and within a frame-shaped area along the cutting edge - at approximately the same height as within the inscription 9 - to form a so-called support profile 10. The height of the embossing is between 0.010 and 0.035 mm , but especially 0.015 mm. The packaging material web thus produced is then divided into single webs 1 of a width l equal to the later cut length and rolled up. The support profile 10 prevents the embossments within the inscriptions 9 from being flattened out again when the packaging material web or the individual webs 1 are rolled up.

The chocolates are then wrapped in the blanks in the usual way in the packaging machine.

Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of a phase of the wrapping process before the envelope folds 11 and 12 are folded onto the chocolate base 13. On the envelope fold 12 one can see the partial area 5 with the hot-melt lacquer print. Then the envelope fold 11 and then the envelope fold 12 is folded over onto the praline base, so that the phase shown in FIG. 3 results, which already shows the final shape of the wrapping package. By briefly pressing a heated sealing stamp in the direction of arrow 14 onto the folded envelope fold 12, which has the partial area 5 provided with hot-glue printing, it connects to the decorative surface of the material of the envelope fold 11, thus completing the production of the wrapper.

The heat seal, which fixes the wrapper of the wrapper, can be peeled off easily to remove the wrapper.
