Description

The present invention relates to shelters intended to protect the automatic snowmaking installations and, more particularly, the elements of these installations which are located on the site, and which provide the connection between the snow gun (s) and the pipe (s) serving to supply them with water and, depending on the type of cannon, with compressed air.

The main purpose of these shelters is to protect the equipment that enables the feeding and control of the snow cannon (s). This equipment is notably described in document FR-A-2 573 854 and a shelter model is described in document FR-A-2 623 276.

These shelters are placed every 30 to 50 meters approximately, as necessary, and they can be buried in trenches.

The shelters currently used include a concrete base which requires work on site. These masonry works are relatively long; in all cases, they require the movement of materials and require a large workforce.

The present invention aims to simplify the implementation in the field by the use of finished sets, light, which remove all masonry on sites.

Another object of the invention is to standardize this type of shelter and to make it conform to the main requirements in terms of size, thermal insulation, solidity and sealing. The shelter according to the invention also makes it possible to leave the snow gun supply valve permanently on site.

The shelter according to the invention is in the form of a prefabricated monobloc box containing the connection and control equipment for the cannon supply; this shelter is placed directly on at least one pipe and it comprises on the one hand, on its bottom, at least one groove which makes it possible to wedge it on said pipe and, on the other hand, anchoring means for connecting members cooperating with said pipe.

According to a preferred arrangement of the invention, the securing members are made up of straps which allow a quick and lasting connection to be made between the shelter and at least one supply pipe; these straps are fixed to the shelter by means of loops arranged at the lower periphery of said shelter.

The shelter according to the invention is made of plastic material of the polyethylene type, obtained by rotational molding.

This shelter comprises reinforcements arranged at its upper part and at its lower part, in the form of a belt, connected by bolting to an internal structure which is used for positioning the various organs enclosed in the shelter, as well as for strengthening said shelter.

The use of a material such as polyethylene allows in particular an adaptation of the shelter on the site and in particular a more convenient drilling of the orifices necessary, on the one hand, for connection on the supply pipes and, on the other hand hand, the passage of the power and dialogue cables.

The shelter according to the invention also comprises, at its upper part, a boss-shaped reinforcement, for the passage of at least one snow cannon support pole. This pole comprises means for anchoring to the internal rails, which means allow it to be fixed in a vertical position whatever the inclination of the shelter when it is fixed to the supply pipe or pipes.

The shelter according to the invention also comprises a manhole closed by a cover provided with hinges of the cable type coated with a nylon-like material, to simplify assembly and above all to make it more reliable.

To avoid intrusion into the shelter, the cover can be fitted with a tamper-proof lock.

  • la figure 1 est une vue générale schématique de face, d'un abri selon l'invention, positionné sur des conduites,dans une tranchée ;
  • la figure 2 est une vue de côté, en coupe, de l'abri selon l'invention ;
  • la figure 3 est une vue de dessus de l'abri seul ;
The invention will be further illustrated, without being in any way limited, by the following description of a particular embodiment given by way of example and represented in the appended drawings, in which:
  • Figure 1 is a general schematic front view of a shelter according to the invention, positioned on pipes, in a trench;
  • Figure 2 is a side view, in section, of the shelter according to the invention;
  • Figure 3 is a top view of the shelter alone;
  • Figure 4 shows the belt disposed at the lower part of the shelter, used in particular for anchoring the latter on the air and water pipes.

Un abri de ce type doit pouvoir supporter sans dommage des températures allant de -25°C à + 40°C.As shown in the figures, the shelter is in the form of a parallelepiped made of plastic material of the polyethylene type, molded by rotational molding. The size of this parallelepiped is close to that of a cube with a volume of the order of 1 m³. A shelter of this type must be able to withstand temperatures from -25 ° C to + 40 ° C without damage.

This shelter generally comprises mold release spheres, rounded reinforcements, minimum radii and limitation of gel catches linked to the manufacturing process.

This shelter is in particular constituted by a floor or bottom 1 which comprises housings used to position it on the pipe or pipes bordering the track. This bottom 1 has longitudinal grooves forming a central housing 2 for the water piping 3 and two lateral housings 4 and 5 for the air piping 6 which can be located on one side or the other of the piping d 'water as appropriate, alternately optionally with a main drain 6' of drain water.

The housing 2 consists of a groove which extends over the entire length of the bottom 1; this groove has a trapezoidal section which makes it possible to wedge the bottom 1 on the pipe 3. The housings 4 and 5 consist of grooves arranged in the lower corners of the shelter, between the bottom 1 and the side walls 7 and 8; the bottom of these grooved housings is located substantially in the same plane.

We notice, at the bottom of these walls lateral 7 and 8, above the housings 4 and 5, a metal belt 9, shown in detail in FIG. 4. This belt 9 is produced in two equal and symmetrical parts; it reinforces the lower part of the shelter and it is arranged in a recess 10 arranged in the lower part of the four sides of the shelter.

This belt 9 is doubled, internally, by means of rails 11 positioned inside the shelter; the belt 9 is secured to the rails 11 by bolts or rivets.

The belt 9, Figures 1 and 4, has a U-shaped section open to the outside. Note loops 12 welded between the upper and lower wings of the belt 9. These loops 12 serve to anchor the straps 13 and 14, shown in Figures 1 and 2, which tighten and secure the shelter on the pipes 3 and 6.

The loops 12 are in the form of a metal rod shaped as a trapezoid; they are fixed on the front and rear faces of the belt 9, that is to say on the faces which are located above the pipes 3, 6 and 6 ′. Note that the shelter can be fixed on the only water pipe 3 in the absence of an air pipe. The adjustment of the attitude will be done by wedging between the bottom and the ground.

The shelter also comprises, at its upper part, housed in a recess 15 identical to the lower recess 10, a second belt 16 with a U-section, internally doubled by rails 17; these rails 17 are also fixed, through the walls of the shelter, by means of bolts or rivets. This belt 16 is located in a plane parallel to the plane of the lower belt 9. The upper belt 16 is also produced in two equal and symmetrical parts.

The internal rails 11 and 17 have a U-shaped section with closed edges. These rails 11 and 17 allow in particular to fix the apparatus and, in particular, as shown in FIG. 1, the sheath 18 which serves to support and guide the pole 19 at the end of which is fixed a snow cannon 20. This pole is locked
on the scabbard by any appropriate means. The sleeve 18 is anchored at its lower end to the internal rail 11, by means of a bolt 21, the head of which is locked in the rail 11. We note, in the upper part of the sleeve, Figures 1 and 2 and in the framed in Figure 1, a flat 22 welded laterally, and provided with a light 23 which allows the passage of a bolt 24 whose head is trapped in the inner top rail 17. The inclination of the sheath 18 can be adjusted, thanks to the light 23, to allow vertical positioning of the pole 19 regardless of the slope of the water and air pipes. The mounting of the sheath 18 on the rails 11 and 17, in cooperation with the belts 9 and 16, gives it good mechanical resistance, necessary in view of the forces and reactions generated by the barrel 20 and by the effects of the wind, the snow and ice.

Two snow cannons 20 supported, on either side of the shelter, by sleeves 18 fixed laterally by means of internal rails 11 and 17 can be positioned, as required, on the same shelter.

The pole 19 crosses the ceiling 25 of the shelter in an area reinforced by a boss 26. This boss 26 extends transversely over the entire ceiling 25. It has, in Figure 3, on each side of its upper plate 27, primers orifices 28 intended for the passage of the poles 19 for supporting the snow cannons.

The ceiling 25 also has orifices 29 for the passage of flexible pipes 30 used to supply the gun (s). A joint in the form of a flexible washer is interposed between the ceiling 25 and the piping 30. These orifices 29 are located substantially in the center of the ceiling 25, arranged on the same transverse line.

The ceiling 25 also has a manhole 31, to allow access to the interior of the shelter, in order to assemble the various components as well as their connection. This manhole 31 is covered by a cover 32. This cover 32 is connected to the wall
lateral of the manhole by means of a cable 33 coated with plastic, forming a sort of lacing so as to avoid the conventional drawbacks of metal hinges.

On a représenté, figure 2, des boîtiers 34, 35 de branchements électriques, ainsi que la vanne 36 qui commmande l'alimentation du canon à neige 20.FIG. 2 shows boxes 34, 35 of electrical connections, as well as the valve 36 which controls the supply of the snow cannon 20.

The valve 36 is connected to the air 6 and water 3 pipes by tapping cuffs 38 and 39. These tapping cuffs pass through the bottom 1 of the shelter. Preferably, the hole in the water cuff 38 is made before mounting the shelter on the pipes; the hole in the air connection sleeve 39 is preferably made on site.

Similarly, orifices 40 arranged in the bottom of the shelter, for emptying, are made on site, and these orifices 40 are connected to the main drain 6 'by flexible pipes.

We also note, arranged substantially at mid-height of the shelter, in the corners, cylindrical sleeves 41. These cylindrical sleeves 41 allow, for example, the passage of the connecting cables 42 of the various electrical connections of the shelter with the track electrical networks.

The assembly of the shelter on the pipes 3 and 6 is carried out very quickly by means of the straps 13, 14 and a simple strapping tensioning tool. The straps are preferably made of polyester fibers.

The various connections or connections are also made quickly, either by orifices already provided, or by provision of orifices or even by cutting the wall of the shelter made for this purpose from an easily cut plastic material.

The structure of the shelter, of substantially cubic shape, provided with belts 9 and 16 in the form of a hoop, also makes it possible to withstand strong external stresses such as earth thrusts. Accidental damage caused by the passage of caterpillars or tamping machines on the upper part of the shelter can be eliminated by installing a new upper cover fitted and riveted on the existing monobloc structure. Furthermore, such a shelter can be easily produced in a shade which allows its integration into the landscape, that is to say a verdant shade or rock color for example.
