Description

The present invention relates to a device for cooling the wall of a fluidized-bed boiler hearth in a middle section of vertical cross section in the general shape of an inverted V junction between lower portions of trapezoidal vertical cross section above two parallel sole and an upper part of rectangular cross section, with front and rear faces parallel to the edge of the inverted V, and with lateral faces perpendicular to this edge, said wall being provided with heat exchange tubes traversed by water or a water and steam emulsion, the inclined faces of the inverted V being provided with exchange tubes parallel to the lateral edges of the inverted V known as creeping.

67, n° 8, août 1987, pages 751-757, Essen, DE; D. BUNTHOFF et al. : "Umweltfreundliches Kraftwerk mit Druckwirbelschichtfeuerung".Such a device is described in the document VGB KRAFTWERKSTECHNIK, vol. 67, No. 8, August 1987, pages 751-757, Essen, DE; D. BUNTHOFF et al. : "Umweltfreundliches Kraftwerk mit Druckwirbelschichtfeuerung".

Until now, no satisfactory solution has been found to ensure the cooling of this zone in natural circulation of water and of the emulsion of water and steam to be heated and vaporized. It was therefore necessary to have tubes supplied with the aid of pumps in forced circulation from the tubes lining the vertical walls of the hearth by sections comprising a descending part.

The object of the present invention is to provide a device for cooling such a zone in natural circulation, using a continuous tubular system comprising no descending element.

To do this, according to the invention, the crawlers are connected to substantially horizontal heat exchange tubes arranged in the sides of the lower parts in an upper zone, along the edge of the inverted V and extending to proximity to the side faces where they open into vertical tubes fitted to the side faces of the fireplace.

In order to uniformly equip the two lateral faces, preferably, all the tubes are arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry parallel to the lateral faces of the hearth.

According to a first variant, the heat exchange tubes of the median zone are connected to the tubes arranged in the sides of the lower parts in an inverted pyramid trunk by means of a collector placed under the wall of the median zone, the vertical edge of the inverted V.

In this case, the device preferably also responds to at least one of the following characteristics:
  • At least most of the tubes are shaped like a hairpin.
  • Some of the tubes, arranged in the vicinity of the edge of the inverted V, are rectilinear and fed by their center.
  • The hairpin tubes are fed at their ends in the vicinity of the side faces of the fireplace.
  • The flanks of the upper zone closest to the edge make a higher angle with a vertical plane than those of the part of the middle zone further from the edge.

According to a second variant, the crawlers are connected by groups of n crawlers to the substantially horizontal heat exchange tubes, called connection tubes.

In order to obtain a uniform distribution of the vertical tubes on each lateral face and of the connection tubes on the inclined faces, the groups of n crawlers are preferably connected to their respective connection tube at different heights, the different connection tubes being superimposed relative to each other in the inclined faces.

More precisely, said heights are regularly increasing from the group of n crawlers closest to one of the lateral faces to the group of n crawlers closest to said plane of symmetry, the latter being interrupted near the edge of the upper zone.

So that the pitch between vertical tubes is sufficient taking into account the welded fins connecting the tubes in a known manner, according to a particular characteristic, the groups of n crawlers are connected two by two in sets of 2 n crawlers via the connection tubes , the latter being connected at their mutual junction to a corresponding vertical tube.

Finally, in order to allow the device to be produced using standard T or L tube connection pieces and to obtain optimum flow balancing, according to another characteristic of the invention, the junction between two connection tubes is produced by a hairpin-shaped extension of the connection tube of the group of n crawlers closest to one of the lateral faces of the hearth, the outlet of the pin with hair aligned with the connecting tube of the other group of n crawlers.

The invention is set out below in more detail with the aid of drawings representing only one embodiment.

La figure 1 représente la disposition générale de la zone médiane séparant les deux jambages inférieurs d'un foyer de chaudière à deux soles séparés comportant le dispositif conforme à l'invention.FIG. 1 represents the general arrangement of the middle zone separating the two lower legs of a boiler hearth with two separate hearths comprising the device according to the invention.

Figure 2 shows on a larger scale the arrangement of the tubes in this area, according to the first variant.

Figure 3 shows on a larger scale the arrangement of the tubes in this area, according to the second variant.

In FIG. 1, the hearth has a front face 1, a rear face 2 and two lateral faces 3 and 4. Its two hearths 5 and 6 are separated by an interval 7, so that the two lower parts of the hearth in the form of jamb have inclined sides 8 and 9 connecting in the upper zone 10 along an edge 11, parallel to the front and rear faces of the hearth.

In FIG. 2, the manifold 12 for supplying water or emulsion of water and cooling vapor is arranged in the plane of symmetry of the hearth parallel to its front and rear faces 1 and 2, away from the smoke of the foyer. It is connected on both sides to inlet tubes 13, 14 arranged on the sides 8, 9, called "vault crawlers", inclined at 24 ° to the vertical, and it itself feeds tubes such as 15 for connection with hairpin tubes such as 16, 18 arranged on the wall of the upper zone. The tubes 16, 18 are connected in a known manner by welded fins, not shown, and are connected to vertical tubes such as 17, 19 which rise along the lateral faces 3, 4 of the hearth.

The manifold 12 is also connected in the vicinity of the plane of symmetry parallel to the lateral faces 3, 4 of the hearth by vertical tubes such as 20 to straight horizontal tubes such as 21, 22 diverging on either side of this plane of symmetry , and arranged in the area 10 near the upper edge 11, which open into the vertical tubes 23, 24 of the side faces. The tubes such as 21, 22 are preferably arranged on face portions making a higher angle, for example of 55 °, with the vertical, so that the edge 11 of FIG. 1 is then a virtual edge. These tubes are also connected by fins, not shown.

Le dispositif conforme à la seconde variante est décrit sur la figure 3.The device according to the second variant is described in FIG. 3.

Les tubes d'arrivée 13, 14 appelés rampants de voûte, inclinés à 24° par rapport à la verticale, sont disposés sur la surface des flancs inclinés 8, 9.The inlet tubes 13, 14, called vault crawlers, inclined at 24 ° relative to the vertical, are arranged on the surface of the inclined sides 8, 9.

To do this, the ramps 13, 14 are connected by group of n ramps. According to the example shown, the crawlers are connected in groups of 3. The number of crawlers per group is defined as a function of the desired flow rate at the outlet in the vertical tubes 17 on the side walls of the hearth.

La trace de ce plan de symétrie est symbolisée par la ligne A-A sur la figure 3.The arrangement of the tubes is symmetrical with respect to the central vertical plane parallel to the lateral faces 3, 4 of the hearth, half of the ramps 13, 14 being connected to vertical tubes 17 of the lateral face 3, the other half being connected to vertical tubes 17 on the other side face 4. The trace of this plane of symmetry is symbolized by the line AA in FIG. 3.

Les rampants 13, 14 sont interrompus par groupes de trois, à des hauteurs différentes, le groupe le plus proche du plan symbolisé par A-A allant jusqu'à proximité de l'arête 11 de la zone 10.The ramps 13, 14 are interrupted in groups of three, at different heights, the group closest to the plane symbolized by A-A going as far as the edge 11 of zone 10.

At their interruption, they are connected, preferably by conventional T and L connections, to substantially horizontal tubes 120 also disposed in the inclined faces 8, 9 of the zone 10. These connections are made so as to obtain a constant pitch between the tubes 120 superimposed in these inclined faces.

In order to obtain a sufficient pitch between the vertical tubes 17, the horizontal tubes 120 are, in turn, connected two by two before being connected to a vertical tube 17.

This connection is achieved by hairpin extensions 160 of the lower tube 120 of each pair of tubes 120 adjacent. This extension 160 takes place outside of zone 10. Its purpose is, on the one hand, to allow the use of a conventional T-connector at the connection of the corresponding vertical tube 17, on the other hand '' balance the lengths and flows arriving at this connection.

In known manner, the tubes are connected in the plane by welded fins, not shown, except in the overflow zone of zone 10, namely the hairpins 160.

For example, the zone 10 having a height of approximately 2.7 m, the pitch between the ramps 13, 14 is approximately 88 mm, their diameter being approximately 44.5 mm; the pitch between horizontal tubes 120 is approximately 94mm and that between vertical tubes approximately 76.5mm, the diameter of the latter being approximately 63.5mm.

These arrangements of the heat exchange tubes in the upper part of the inverted V-shaped zone separating the two lower parts of the hearth ensure natural circulation of the water or of the emulsion of water and steam in the tubes, while completely protecting the corresponding walls and the supply collector from the radiation of the hearth.

  8. Apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the sloping tubes (13, 14) are connected in groups of n sloping tubes (13, 14) to the substantially horizontal heat exchanger tubes (120) referred to as "connection" tubes.
  9. Apparatus according to claim 8, characterized in that the groups of n sloping tubes (13, 14) are connected to their respective connection tubes (120) at different heights, the various connection tubes (120) being superposed over one another in the sloping faces (8, 9).
  10. Apparatus according to claim 9, characterized in that said heights increase regularly from the group of n sloping tubes closest to one of the side faces (3 or 4) to the group of n sloping tubes closest to said plane of symmetry, the last-mentioned group extending to the vicinity of the ridge (11) of the top region (10).
  11. Apparatus according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the groups of n sloping tubes (13, 14) are connected in pairs in sets of 2n sloping tubes by means of the connection tubes (120) which connection tubes are connected at their mutual interconnections to a corresponding vertical tube (17).
  12. Apparatus according to claim 11, characterized in that said interconnection between two connection tubes (120) is constituted by a hairpin-shaped extension (160) of the connection tube (120) for the group of n sloping tubes (13, 14) closest to one of the side faces (3, 4) of the hearth, such that the outlet from the hairpin bend (160) is in alignment with the connection tube (120) of the other group of n sloping tubes (13, 14).
