Abstract

The installation comprises a gripper (44) with retractable claws (40) which are engageable through the tuyere (26) and manoeuvring means which run through the gripper and are manoeuvrable from the outside for deploying or retracting the claws (40) radially in relation to the axis of the tuyere (26). The gripper (44) and its manoeuvring means are supported by a yoke (30) designed to be adapted to the external edge of the vault (24) and to be associated with a conventional pneumatic bolt-firing tool which is capable of being adapted to the outside of the yoke (30) either on extensions of the claws (40) or on the manoeuvring means in order to exert via its rotation and its support on the yoke (30) a traction force on the claws of the gripper. <IMAGE>
