Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Mehrkomponenten-Packung gemäß Gattungsbegriff des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to a multi-component pack according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a multi-component pack is known from EP-A-133 293. The two-component pack proposed there provides an insert cup which can be inserted into the neck opening of an outer container, so that two components can be stored separately from the outer container and from the insert cup. By unscrewing the screw cap beyond the basic sales position, the ring step of the cup base is acted upon by a butt edge, so that the breaking line is separated and the insert cup falls into the outer container, so that both components are brought together. However, such a cup is in need of improvement since it can only accommodate two components separately from one another.

From DE-U-8 423 225 it is known to open a cup which is suspended in the neck opening of an outer container and contains a concentrate by means of a butt edge of a screw cap to the interior of the outer container in such a way that a predetermined breaking line lying on the bottom of this cup is only so far tears that a material connection remains between the cup wall and the cup bottom, so the bottom only folds down like a hinged lid.

The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a generic multi-component pack with a simple design with regard to its possible use.

The object is achieved by the invention described in claim 1.

Die angefügten Ansprüche stellen vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen dar.The appended claims represent advantageous developments.

As a result of such an embodiment, a multi-component pack is provided with a plurality of insert cups inserted one into the other. A first insert cup is firmly inserted into the neck opening of the outer container. One or more second insert cups are inserted in the first insert cup. By further screwing on the screw cap beyond the basic sales position, the predetermined breaking line of each insert cup is separated. For this purpose it is provided that the ring steps are acted upon by the abutting edge of a abutting collar.

Specifically, the procedure is such that at least one further insert cup centered in the first insert cup is assigned, the cup wall of which extends in the axial direction beyond its cup base and has its own bump collar, the cup base of the further insert cup centered in the first insert cup in the area of a predetermined breaking point Has ring step, this ring step can be acted upon by an abutting edge of an abutting collar protruding into this insert cup, a seal is provided between the outer surface of the abutting collar and the further cup wall, the butt collar of the screw cap is molded on and the further insert cup is axially displaceable. In an advantageous manner, the second insert cups have a drive cam formed on the outer cup wall, which is arranged between a drive edge and a stop edge and can be acted upon by them. If only a second insert cup is provided, then the stop edge is formed by an edge of the first insert cup which surrounds the neck opening of the outer container. The drive edge is then formed by the end face of a drive collar assigned to the screw cap. If several nested second insert cups are provided for receiving more than just three components, the drive cam of each second insert cup acts upon the stop edge formed by the upper edge of the insert cup receiving it by further screwing on the screw cap. If this is also a second insert cup, it is axially displaced by the action on the upper edge. The drive cam is arranged such that after the predetermined breaking line of the innermost second insert cup has been broken open, the drive cam is acted upon by the drive edge of the screw cap by further screwing on the screw cap. After the predetermined breaking line of the first insert cup has been separated, its stop edge is acted on by the drive cam of the second insert cup inserted into it by further screwing on the screw cap. The drive cam is advantageously designed such that it surrounds the second insert cup in a ring shape. To achieve an optimal separation of the predetermined breaking line, it is provided that the cross-sectional areas formed by the abutting edge and the ring step extend perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the screw cap. There is also a distance between the abutting edge and the ring step when the screw cap is not screwed on. In order to ensure a secure hold of the screw cap on the outer container even when the screw cap is not screwed on, a circumferential locking edge is provided at the neck opening of the outer container, via which the screw cap is clipped on with an annular bead. Through this and other friction surfaces with the screw cap The outer container and insert cups are difficult to screw on. Unscrewing and the associated separation of the predetermined breaking lines to bring the components together is therefore only possible by deliberately turning the screw cap. The closure cap advantageously has an opening which can be closed with a closure cap. As a result, the screw cap does not need to be removed to remove the component mixture; rather, the removal takes place through all insert cups through the opening of the screw cap. In order to prevent mixing between the predetermined breaking lines of the individual components from one another, a sealing bead is arranged between the cup wall and the butt collar inserted therein. This bulge formed on the cup wall surrounds the butt collar in an exciting manner, that is to say it lies closely so that a radial contact pressure prevails. For the parallel parallel guidance of the axially displaceable second insert cups, two beads arranged in parallel and located on each inside of the cup are provided. This also creates a double seal. The cup base can be pot-shaped. This enables easier production. In order to prevent the webs from shearing off when the protective cap is screwed on further and to ensure that the cup bottoms are effectively folded down after the predetermined breaking lines have been separated, it is provided that the webs, which connect the cup bottom to the cup wall, have a run-up ramp for the abutting edges of the abutting collar when the predetermined breaking line is separated form. Detachment of a cup base from the insert cup is prevented in a simple and safe manner by a web connecting the cup base to the cup wall, which web connects the material when the predetermined breaking line is separated between cup wall and cup bottom.

The multi-component pack shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of an outer container 1 into which a first insert cup 2 is inserted. A second insert cup 3 is received in the first insert cup 2. A screw cap 4 is screwed onto the outer container 1 and has an opening which is closed with a closure cap 5.

The first insert cup 2 is inserted into the outer container 1 in such a way that its cup rim 29 projects beyond the neck opening of the outer container 1. The insert cup 2 is clipped into the outer container 1, so that an axial displacement of this first insert cup 2 is not possible during normal use of the multi-component pack. Above all, however, it should be avoided by the above-mentioned clip-in that after filling the outer container 1 and then inserting the insert cup 2, the insert cup 2 jumps up again due to the compression occurring in the bottle. If this happened, after inserting the rest of the telescope system, the insert cup 2 would not have the correct sealing position with respect to the bottle, i.e. outer container 1, or it would get through the telescope system press into the correct sealing position, but then the predetermined breaking points mentioned later would then be unfavorably pre-stressed. It should not happen that the predetermined breaking points start assembly work.

The second insert cup 3 is inserted with its butt collar 8 into the first insert cup 2. The butt collar 8 is formed by an axial continuation of the cup wall 21 beyond the cup base 7.

The butt collar 9 projects into the second insert cup 3 and is connected to the screw cap 4 in the same material.

Each cup wall 20, 21 has two annular beads 16, 17, 18, 19, which are integrally formed on the cup inner wall. The inside diameter of these beads 16, 17, 18, 19 is dimensioned such that they surround the respective surrounding collars 8, 9 in an exciting manner and apply a radial pressure such that a seal is formed.

7.The first insert cup 2 and the second insert cup 3 each have a cup-shaped base 6, 7, which is connected to the cup wall 20, 21 via a predetermined breaking line 10, 11. The cup bottoms 6, 7 furthermore have ring steps 14, 15 which form a plane perpendicular to the screw axis of the screw cap. Parallel to these ring steps 14, 15, the abutting edges 8 ', 9' of the abutting collars 8, 9 extend at a distance a, b. Distance a and b corresponds approximately to the wall thickness of the cup base 6 and 7, respectively.

The second cup 3 is also surrounded by a drive cam 26 in a ring. The drive cam is arranged between the stop edge formed by the cup edge 29 of the first insert cup 2 and the drive edge 28 ′ formed by the end face of a drive collar assigned to the screw cap 4.

This material web 12, 13 forms a firm material connection in the form of a film hinge between the edge of the cup base 6, 7 and cup wall 20, 21 even when the predetermined breaking line 10, 11 is separated.

In the basic sales position, only a few threads of the screw cap 4 and the outer container 1 interlock. Against unscrewing of the screw cap 4 from the outer container 1, it is secured by a locking bead 25 which engages over the locking edge 24 of the outer container 1.

If the screw cap 4 is now screwed on further, the butt collar 9 is displaced downward and acts with its abutting edge 9 'on the ring step 15 of the second insert cup 3. Subsequent further screwing either initially displaces the second insert cup 3 by the displacement path a downwards, so that the abutting edge 8 'of the abutting collar 8 strikes the ring step 14 or the ring step 15 is struck by the abutting edge 9' in such a way that the predetermined breaking line 11 is separated. After the predetermined breaking line 11 has been separated, the butt collar 9 is displaced further downward, where it runs obliquely onto the casserole formed by the web 13 and the cup bottom 7 folds downward. This relative movement of the collar 9 to the second insert cup 3 continues until the drive cam 26 is acted upon by the drive edge 28 'of the drive collar 28.

Further screwing on the screw cap 4 now leads to the ring step 14 being acted upon by the abutting edge 8 'of the abutting collar 8 until the predetermined breaking line 10 of the first insert cup is separated. A further axial displacement of the second insert cup 3 leads downward to the impact collar 8 running onto the run-up slope formed by the web 12 together with the ring step 14 and to a subsequent folding down of the cup base 6 to the side.

The screw cap 4 can be screwed on until the drive cam 26 strikes the stop edge 27. This is the position shown in FIG. 2.

The closure cap 5 in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a screw-on, reclosable cap. In the screw cap 4, which is shown in Fig. 3, the cap 5 of the screw cap is formed and can be stalled from the screw cap opening to open. Nevertheless, this stopper-shaped closure cap 5 can be closed again by pressing the upper section adjoining the corresponding predetermined breaking point into the corresponding opening of the screw cap. Of course, other means of achieving resealability can also be used here, for example in the form of a screw cap.

In the version according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the lifting off of the closure cap there is still referred to as screwing technology, since there is a single-flank control, formed by circumferential ramps apparent from FIG. 2, which interact with counter ramps of the closure cap 5 there. The attachment can be carried out there correspondingly quickly, since only a push-fit acting between the upper end of the impact collar 9 and the closure cap 5 has to be overcome. As I said, a classic screw version can replace the ramp training.

The non-integral cap 5 is made of polyethylene (PE). It is softer than the screw cap 4, which is made of polypropylene (PP), which, according to FIG. 3, has the same sealing cap 5. On the other hand, with regard to the second insert cup 3, which takes over a plunger function, the polyethylene type hard (HDPE) is used, which material is harder than that from which the first insert cup 2 is made. The latter consists of soft polyethylene with the abbreviation LDPE. The screw cap 4 serving as an actuating handle is relatively harder than the two insert cups 2, 3, the soft-tough material of which fulfills the functional requirement of the film hinge material bridge particularly well.
