Definitions
- the invention relates to a drawer with metallic drawer frames as side boundaries of the drawer, each having an angled supporting flange at the bottom for supporting a base plate of the drawer, holding elements being punched and bent from the supporting flanges and engaging in receiving recesses in the base plate.
- the drawer frames can have different heights as required and are preferably at the same time formed as part of a pull-out guide for the drawer, in particular provided with a molded guide rail for such a pull-out guide. If a rear wall is provided, it has so far been installed so that it extends to the flanges of the drawer frames, the base plate abutting the rear wall. A front wall of the drawer is usually fastened independently of the fastenings of the base plate using its own, adjustable holding means.
- the base plate It is known to fasten the base plate with the aid of upstanding holding tabs punched out of the supporting flanges, which engage in bores or longitudinal grooves of the base plate parallel to the edge, preferably in a press fit.
- the retaining tabs are bent around bending edges that run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the flange and engage in continuous, parallel-parallel grooves of the base plate and the bent-up height of the retaining tabs is somewhat greater than the groove depth of the narrow, essentially adapted to the tab thickness groove, so that the retaining tabs partially penetrate into the groove base when the base plate is pressed on.
- claws which can subsequently be bent are used as holders which, after being introduced into the bore or groove, are bent into an end position in which their claws penetrate into the side wall material of the bore or groove.
- the assembly of such claws which on the other hand are the best known way of securing the base plate against displacement and lifting, is time-consuming and can hardly be automated, and there is also an increased risk of damage to the base plate or the claws itself when the claws are bent later is. From DE-A 37 02 238 it is known per se to use a hook at the rear end of a running track as a support for the rear end of a drawer box.
- the object of the invention is to provide a drawer of the type mentioned, in which with simple means that also allow automation of the assembly or require no or only the simplest tools, an exact positioning of the base plate in relation to the support flanges and a secure attachment of the base plate in the correct position is guaranteed, wherein the preparation of the base plate for receiving the holding means can be automated and can be carried out in a continuous process.
- the invention consists essentially in the fact that hook-shaped hold-down devices are provided as holding elements for the one end face of the base plate in one end region of the supporting flanges, which engage in receiving recesses in the base plate, the receiving recesses consisting of a groove running through between the side edges of the base plate and in the end face thereof and each have an insertion recess for the hook-shaped hold-down device, which extends from the underside of the plate to at least the lower flank of the groove and engages with its hook end in the groove from the insertion recess in the mounting position.
- wood, chipboard or composite panels which may be coated on both sides, are suitable for the production of the floor panel.
- the front groove as part of the receiving recesses will either be located on the back of the drawer or, in the preferred embodiment, covered by the front plate of the drawer. The recesses can be attached without risk of damage to the plate material.
- a preferred embodiment is that the insertion recess allows the free hook leg of the hook-shaped hold-down device to be inserted into the groove when the base plate is held in a sloping position relative to the supporting flange and rests with the edge of the end face having the groove on the supporting flange, so that the base plate after the insertion of the hook-shaped hold-down device can be folded down onto the supporting flange.
- the base plate is correctly positioned relative to the support flanges, so that further holding means of the support flanges come into engagement with corresponding recesses or bores in the base plate and the base plate after this additional fastening and / or after attaching hold-down devices, e.g. B. the back of the shop for the other end plate end is correctly and securely attached.
- the insertion recesses consist of holes extending from the underside of the plate to the groove. Such bores hardly disturb the strength structure of the floor slab and do not lead to any undesirable surface damage to coated floor slabs.
- the hold-down clamps are attached with the sloping base plate or the other fasteners allow a longitudinal displacement of the base plate up to the stop on the upstanding hook part, the holes will preferably be open to the side of the plate face, i.e. they will be tapered, which means that the distance of the geometric axis of the hole from the face is smaller than the radius of the Hole is selected.
- the insertion recesses can also consist of cutouts made in the face of the plate between the lower flank of the groove and the underside of the plate.
- the base plate can be set in so as to protrude below the groove, so that the protruding parts of the hook-shaped hold-down devices are accommodated in the heel recess when the retaining leg of the hook fully engages in the groove.
- a corresponding paragraph or a bevel of the base plate below the groove and down to the bottom also facilitates the insertion of the holding legs of the hook-shaped hold-down device into the groove when the base plate is held at an angle, since the height of the groove above the flanges is not greater than because of the bevel or the paragraph with a flat plate.
- the base plate is preferably provided with the receiving recesses in such a way that, in a continuous process, the holes serving as insertion recesses and immediately afterwards the continuous, frontal groove are made in the base plate. Together with the bores mentioned, receiving bores for upstanding retaining tabs can also be drilled at the same time.
- a drawer has two opposing metallic side frames 1, which are angled at the top to a guide rail 2, which forms part of a pull-out guide for the drawer.
- the side frames 1 serve as side boundaries of the interior of the drawer, which is further delimited at the bottom by a base plate 3 and at the rear by a rear wall 4.
- a front plate (not shown), which is adjustable and covers the end face of the base plate 3, is normally attached, which is optionally provided with a handle.
- the base plate 3 can consist of a board, a particle board or a similar material and can optionally be provided on one or both sides with a surface coating.
- the web of the side frame 1 is provided with an extension 5, which is bent to a holding bracket 6 with through openings 7 for screws 8 for fastening the rear wall of the shop.
- the base plate 3 is provided with insertion openings 12 for the retaining tabs 10, which are designed as bores, the diameter of which is selected to be slightly smaller than the width of the tabs 10, so that the tabs can engage in them with a clamp fit.
- a bore 14 which opens laterally from the underside of the plate 3 to the end face of the plate and a groove 15 which extends through the end face and into which the bores 14 open .
- the holes 12 and 14 can be made with multiple boring machines in the base plates 3, after which the end groove 15 is milled. This method of manufacture enables the base plates 3 to be prepared in a simple continuous process which can be fully automated.
- the base plate 3 can be pushed over the hook-shaped hold-down device 11 in an inclined position sloping towards the end 13 relative to the flange 9, the holes 14 serving as an insertion aid and finally for the recessed reception of the upstanding parts of the hook-shaped hold-down device 11.
- the plate 3 can be on the front side below the groove 15 have a bevel 16.
- the hook-shaped hold-down devices engage into the groove 15 from the inner edge of the bore 14, this inner edge of the bore 14 also forming a fitting. If the base plate 3 is folded down from the position according to FIG. 1 or FIG. 4 into the position according to FIG.
- the retaining tabs 10 penetrate into the bores 12 in a clamped fit, so that the base plate 3 is additionally held by the hook-shaped ones Hold-down device is fixed against displacements in the longitudinal and transverse directions and is secured in the area of the end face 13 by the hold-down device 11 against lifting.
- the base plate After assembly of the rear wall 4 of the shop, over the end of the base plate 3 reaching under it, the base plate is also fixed at the rear end against being lifted off the flange 9 and thus permanently secured in its entirety in the correct position.
- a receiving bore 17 can also be provided in the rear wall 4 of the shop for an adjustment tab bent out of the part 7.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a drawer with metallic drawer frames as side boundaries of the drawer, each having an angled supporting flange at the bottom for supporting a base plate of the drawer, holding elements being punched and bent from the supporting flanges and engaging in receiving recesses in the base plate.
The drawer frames can have different heights as required and are preferably at the same time formed as part of a pull-out guide for the drawer, in particular provided with a molded guide rail for such a pull-out guide. If a rear wall is provided, it has so far been installed so that it extends to the flanges of the drawer frames, the base plate abutting the rear wall. A front wall of the drawer is usually fastened independently of the fastenings of the base plate using its own, adjustable holding means.
It is known to fasten the base plate with the aid of upstanding holding tabs punched out of the supporting flanges, which engage in bores or longitudinal grooves of the base plate parallel to the edge, preferably in a press fit. According to GB-A 2 169 491, the retaining tabs are bent around bending edges that run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the flange and engage in continuous, parallel-parallel grooves of the base plate and the bent-up height of the retaining tabs is somewhat greater than the groove depth of the narrow, essentially adapted to the tab thickness groove, so that the retaining tabs partially penetrate into the groove base when the base plate is pressed on. This does not ensure that the retaining tabs are properly anchored in the groove and that there is no adequate protection against lifting or moving the base plate in the longitudinal direction of the groove. From EP-A 0 322 545 it is known to design the groove of the base plate a little wider and to bend the retaining tabs after bending edges running at an acute angle to the flange longitudinal direction, so that the tabs are aligned obliquely to the groove and their longitudinal edge edges when the base plate is pressed into the Cut in the groove flanks. Again, there is no perfect security against lifting the base plate from the support flanges and the pressing position of the base plate on the support flanges is not precisely defined, so that when using assembly machines with large longitudinal tolerances when attaching the base plate must be expected. According to another embodiment, claws which can subsequently be bent are used as holders which, after being introduced into the bore or groove, are bent into an end position in which their claws penetrate into the side wall material of the bore or groove. The assembly of such claws, which on the other hand are the best known way of securing the base plate against displacement and lifting, is time-consuming and can hardly be automated, and there is also an increased risk of damage to the base plate or the claws itself when the claws are bent later is. From DE-A 37 02 238 it is known per se to use a hook at the rear end of a running track as a support for the rear end of a drawer box.
The object of the invention is to provide a drawer of the type mentioned, in which with simple means that also allow automation of the assembly or require no or only the simplest tools, an exact positioning of the base plate in relation to the support flanges and a secure attachment of the base plate in the correct position is guaranteed, wherein the preparation of the base plate for receiving the holding means can be automated and can be carried out in a continuous process.
The invention consists essentially in the fact that hook-shaped hold-down devices are provided as holding elements for the one end face of the base plate in one end region of the supporting flanges, which engage in receiving recesses in the base plate, the receiving recesses consisting of a groove running through between the side edges of the base plate and in the end face thereof and each have an insertion recess for the hook-shaped hold-down device, which extends from the underside of the plate to at least the lower flank of the groove and engages with its hook end in the groove from the insertion recess in the mounting position.
In addition to the attachment of the base plate by means of the hook-shaped hold-down device in the area of one end face, other holding means distributed over the length of the supporting flanges, e.g. B. bent rags, which engage in corresponding receiving holes in the base plate, and it is also possible to use the rear wall of the drawer as a hold-down device for the rear end of the base plate with front attachment of the base plate by means of the hook-shaped hold-down device. The mounting recesses for the hook-shaped hold-down devices can be made automatically in a continuous process. The groove itself can have different heights and depths or widths, depending on how big the drawer is and what material the base plate is made of. Among other things, wood, chipboard or composite panels, which may be coated on both sides, are suitable for the production of the floor panel. The front groove as part of the receiving recesses will either be located on the back of the drawer or, in the preferred embodiment, covered by the front plate of the drawer. The recesses can be attached without risk of damage to the plate material.
A preferred embodiment is that the insertion recess allows the free hook leg of the hook-shaped hold-down device to be inserted into the groove when the base plate is held in a sloping position relative to the supporting flange and rests with the edge of the end face having the groove on the supporting flange, so that the base plate after the insertion of the hook-shaped hold-down device can be folded down onto the supporting flange. Already during this folding down, the base plate is correctly positioned relative to the support flanges, so that further holding means of the support flanges come into engagement with corresponding recesses or bores in the base plate and the base plate after this additional fastening and / or after attaching hold-down devices, e.g. B. the back of the shop for the other end plate end is correctly and securely attached.
According to one possible version, the insertion recesses consist of holes extending from the underside of the plate to the groove. Such bores hardly disturb the strength structure of the floor slab and do not lead to any undesirable surface damage to coated floor slabs. If, as described above, the hold-down clamps are attached with the sloping base plate or the other fasteners allow a longitudinal displacement of the base plate up to the stop on the upstanding hook part, the holes will preferably be open to the side of the plate face, i.e. they will be tapered, which means that the distance of the geometric axis of the hole from the face is smaller than the radius of the Hole is selected.
However, the insertion recesses can also consist of cutouts made in the face of the plate between the lower flank of the groove and the underside of the plate.
In addition to bores or cutouts or also in their place, the base plate can be set in so as to protrude below the groove, so that the protruding parts of the hook-shaped hold-down devices are accommodated in the heel recess when the retaining leg of the hook fully engages in the groove. A corresponding paragraph or a bevel of the base plate below the groove and down to the bottom also facilitates the insertion of the holding legs of the hook-shaped hold-down device into the groove when the base plate is held at an angle, since the height of the groove above the flanges is not greater than because of the bevel or the paragraph with a flat plate.
The base plate is preferably provided with the receiving recesses in such a way that, in a continuous process, the holes serving as insertion recesses and immediately afterwards the continuous, frontal groove are made in the base plate. Together with the bores mentioned, receiving bores for upstanding retaining tabs can also be drilled at the same time.
