Ein derartiger Schleifteller wird beispielsweise in der DE-PS 35 16 474 beschrieben und besteht, abgesehen von dem auf der runden Tellerfläche aufzuklebendem Schleifblatt, aus zwei Teilen, nämlich aus einer massiven Scheibe, die auf ihrer Umfangsfläche aus Kunststoff besteht, und aus einem metallischen Antriebsstift, der in einer axial durchgehenden Bohrung in der Zylinderscheibe Aufnahme findet.
