Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a sack or bag with a rectangular bottom in the filled state and attached handle part.

Sacks or bags of this type are known for example from DE-GM 81 15 909 and 82 07 889. However, these known sacks or bags have the disadvantage that the leg-like strips forming a base sheet, which are connected in their central region to the web part provided with the grip hole, are glued to the floor over the entire surface or almost over the entire surface, so that they are bonded to the floor Considerable stresses are exerted during carrying over the web part, i.e. in the area of the longitudinal middle plane of the sack passing through the floor, which results from the fact that the forces exerted by the web part are introduced into this essentially in the area of a line running centrally through the floor rectangle.

To avoid this disadvantage, a sack or pouch has been described in German patent application P 40 12 896.2 is formed by corner folds partially overlapping side folds and the attached handle part consists of a central web part with the grip hole and connected to this side leg-like strips made of flexible material, the drawn bottom is glued or welded in a known manner to an inner bar that seals is connected to the inner edges of the corner folds and at least the inner edges of the side folds adjacent to their fold lines, the handle part being inserted into the still open floor and the leg-like strips of which are at least partially covered by the side folds and glued or welded to them. In this sack or pouch, the side of the side leg-like strips of the handle part, which carries the web part provided with the grip hole between them, is not glued to this inner bar, but the side folds overlap the side leg-like strips and are with these are glued or welded through their sides, on which the middle web part with the grip hole is also located. This sack or pouch is therefore characterized by a tunel, which is formed between the underside of the handle part and the outside of the inner bolt. Because of this design, the load-bearing capacities are introduced essentially directly into the side walls of the filled sack or bag via the central web part and the leg-like strips connected to it, so that the handle part is able to absorb significantly larger load-bearing capacities without the bag being damaged or the bottom parts thereof be replaced.

It has proven to be disadvantageous that the sack or pouch described above cannot be easily and simply manufactured by machine.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a method for producing the above-described sack or bag, by means of which it can be produced easily and inexpensively by machine in a production line.

This object is achieved by a manufacturing method for manufacturing a generic sack or bag with the following steps. First of all, a piece of tubing is provided at one end with two incisions which are essentially parallel to one another and to the lateral folded edges. The floor is then pulled up in a manner known per se to form corner turns and side turns. A handle part label produced in a separate process sequence with a reinforcement area and an area forming a reinforcement strip in the unfolded state is preferably glued or welded onto the raised floor in such a way that an edge area on a side fold is not covered by the prefabricated handle part label. Then a side fold and the corner folds are folded around a fold line which runs through the tips of the corner folds and the unfolded part is glued or welded flat over an edge zone of the side fold and, if applicable, the handle part label placed on it. The edge zone is chosen so that it is limited by the fold line resulting when the bag is filled. This creates the saddle or pouch that characterizes the sack or pouch below the handle.

The handle part label can be produced in an advantageous manner in the following sequence of processes. A reinforcement strip and a half tube attached directly to it are glued or welded onto a continuously running web. Then it is folded around a fold line approximately halving the stuck-on reinforcement strip and the free end of the Legs of the glued-on or welded-on half-tube are glued or welded to the area of the web above. Basically, the web can be cut before or after the folding described above to form the grip part label.

In order to facilitate the folding described above, the folding line on the reinforcement strip can be scored or pre-scored using a suitable knife.

The finger hole incision can advantageously be punched in after the above-described bottom has been inserted with the handle part inserted, but before the sack or bag is filled.

In Fig. 1, a piece of tubing 10 separated from a tube of paper or thermoplastic material is shown, which forms the starting workpiece for the manufacture of the sack or bag. In a first method step, the tube piece 10 is provided on its upper edge with two incisions 12 which are parallel to one another and to the side fold edges and which have approximately the same distance from the side fold edges 13.

Fig. 2 zeigt das Sackwerkstück gem. Fig. 2 shows the bag workpiece acc. Fig. 1 after pulling up the floor in the usual way. The corner folds 14 and the side folds 16 and 18 result from the pulling open. The side folds 16, 18 are partially separated from the corner folds 14 by the cutting lines 12. The fold lines 17, 19 indicated by dashed lines are those fold lines around which the side folds 16, 18 are folded after the bag has been filled.

A glue layer 21 is then applied to the so-called floor square by means of format gluing, as indicated by the hatched areas in FIG. 3. Here an edge strip 20 is kept free of the glue application on the lower side fold 16.

In the next process step, a handle part slip 22 prepared in a separate process sequence is placed on the glue layer and thereby glued, as shown in FIG. 4. The line 23 corresponds to the lower outer edge of the handle part slip 22. From this it can be seen that the edge area 20 of the lower side fold 16 is not covered by the handle part slip 22. Of course, the handle part label 22 can also be welded to the bottom square, the welding surfaces then corresponding to the corresponding glued surfaces 21 of FIG. 3.

A corresponding sealing of the base is achieved by the corresponding gluing or welding of the base square to the handle part label 22.

Der Verstärkungsbereich 24 und der Halbschlauch 26 werden unmittelbar nebeneinanderliegend aufgeklebt.8-11, the separate sequence of processes for producing the handle part slip can be explained. Fig. 8 shows a plan view of a running web 32 made of paper or plastic film, the dash-dotted line is intended to indicate that the web extends as desired. 9, a layer of glue 33 is applied continuously to the web. 9, the glued surface 33 of the web 32 is shown hatched. Two further webs are continuously applied to the glued surface, a first web forming a reinforcement area 24 and another web being applied to the glue surface by appropriate guiding via a folding triangle in the form of a half-tube 26 such that one leg is glued to the web 32 while the other leg is freely pivoted. The reinforcement area 24 and the half-tube 26 are glued directly next to one another.

Fig. 10 bzw. dem Querschnitt gem. Fig. 10a ersichtlich. The folded edge 27 of the half hose 26 directly adjoins the reinforcement area 24, while the half hose is open to the opposite side. The arrangement of the reinforcement area 24 and the half hose 26 are shown in the plan view. Fig. 10 or the cross section acc. 10a can be seen. 10 further shows that part of the glue surface 33 is not covered by the webs forming the reinforcement region 24 or the half-tube 26. This section is designated 35 in FIG. 10.

Fig. 11a zeigt einen Querschnitt hierdurch. The acc. Fig. 10 prepared composite web is folded around the optionally pre-grooved fold line 34 to form a folded edge 37 such that the glue strip 35 comes to rest on the free leg of the half hose 26, so that thereby the web 32 with the corresponding free leg of the half hose 26th is glued. After folding, the configuration shown in FIG. 11 results in a top view. 11a shows a cross section through this. The web prepared in this way is then cut to the width of the handle part slip 22 by means of a knife. Even if a gluing of the webs has been described in detail in the above description of the process sequence, the method according to the invention can be carried out just as well by appropriate welding of the surfaces.

After the slip prepared in this way has been glued or welded to the base square, a border zone 30, as shown in FIG. 5, is glued in a next process step. This edge zone comprises the edge strip 20 of the side fold 16 and an edge area 40 (cf. FIG. 11) of the handle part slip 22, between the outer slip edge line 23 and the folding edge 17 which results after filling.

Then the side fold 16 together with the half corner folds 14 is folded upwards by a fold line 28 (see FIG. 5) which runs through the tips of the corner folds 14, so that the glued edge zone 30 is glued to the corresponding surface part of the handle part slip 22 can. As an alternative to gluing and subsequent gluing, the edge zone 30 can of course also be welded flat.

Then there is a flat-lying sack according to FIG. 6, the tunel being formed.

The corresponding finger hole punch line 36 can then be formed in the reinforcement area 24.
