Description

The subject of the innovation is a bottle carrier according to the preamble of protection claim 1.

Bottle carriers of the type mentioned are already known from DE-PS 34 02 729 or EP-A-0 185 216. In the case of the container carrier from the first-mentioned publication, the second handle sections are articulated to the first handle sections, whereas, according to the second publication, they are articulatedly connected to the connecting section between the end wall tabs. With the latter arrangement, a better material layer distribution is achieved when the container carrier is folded flat. Both container carriers or truckloaders delimit open compartments with longitudinal walls, longitudinal web, transverse webs, end walls and floor that do not prevent bottles from falling out or being removed. This makes transportation more difficult and enables the consumer to take out individual bottles, which is undesirable in particular for reasons of storage, container loading, aesthetics and sales promotion.

Proceeding from this, the innovation is based on the task of improving a bottle carrier from a one-piece blank made of foldable flat material in such a way that individual bottles are prevented from falling out or being removed.

To solve this problem, the characterizing features of the protection claim 1 are provided according to the innovation in the bottle carrier mentioned above.

The flaps of the bottle carrier can be folded down approximately vertically from the handle sections, with their punched-outs being arranged approximately centrally above the compartments. Bottles inserted into the compartments protrude with their bottle necks into the cutouts in the flaps, from which they do not slip due to the tapering of the bottle neck can. On the other hand, the bottles are supported on the bottom of the container carrier and held on the circumferential side by longitudinal walls, longitudinal web, transverse webs and end walls, so that they form a stable transport and sales unit with the carrier. The innovation prevents the bottles from falling out during transport and individual bottles from being removed from the sale because the carrier would have to be at least partially destroyed for this purpose. After the purchase and a targeted tearing of the carrier, particularly on the flaps, the bottles can be removed individually. If necessary, this can be supported by suitable weakening lines of the flat material. The protection against falling out and removal is advantageously integrated into the bottle carrier and can be implemented without any additional expenditure on material. It proves to be advantageous that the side and end walls of the carrier can be made lower due to the bottle holder on the top, so that sufficient material remains for the flaps in the central region of the blank which is spread out flat. The bottle carrier according to the innovation can be used in a conventional erector for filling with bottles with little conversion effort.

An embodiment of the innovation provides that the free edge of the flaps is trapezoidal in relation to their articulations is. This results in better material utilization and a more pleasing appearance of the carrier filled with bottles.

Finally, in one embodiment it is provided that at least one base plate for connection to at least one base half is articulated to the base end of at least one end wall plate and / or a longitudinal web section.

The blank shown in Fig. 1 has two longitudinal walls 1, 2. On the outside of the longitudinal wall 1, a shorter bottom half 3 is articulated via a crease line. A longer bottom half 4 is articulated to the longitudinal wall 2 in the same way. The bottom halves 3, 4 have cutouts 5 on their articulations for guiding the lower bottle edges.

On the other opposite sides of the longitudinal walls 1, 2, end wall halves 6, 7 and 8, 9 are each articulated via crease lines. On the end wall halves 6, 8 again connecting straps 10, 11 are articulated via crease lines. The connecting straps 10, 11 are connected to one another beyond the height of the end wall halves 6, 8 via a connecting section 12 which is cross-divided in the middle by a crease line 13.

Longitudinal web sections 14, 15 are articulated on the end wall halves 7, 9 via further creasing lines. The longitudinal web sections 14, 15 have handle sections 16, 17 with handle recesses 18, 19. The handle sections 16, 17 are hinged together via a crease line 20.

The connecting tab 10 and the longitudinal web section 14 each have a bottom tab 21, 22 articulated via a crease line, which can be connected to the bottom half 3 when the carrier is closed.

A transverse web 23, 24 is punched into each of the longitudinal web sections 14, 15 and connected to the respective longitudinal web section 14, 15 via a vertical crease line in the drawing. A crossbar connecting strap 25, 26 is articulated on each crossbar 23, 24 via a further crease line. Each crossbar 23, 24 has a recess 27, 28 on the bottom edge for guiding the lower edge of the bottle.

Second grip sections 29, 30 are articulated to the first grip sections 16, 17 via creasing lines. They contain handle holes 31, 32 which, when the support is erected, cooperate with the handle recesses 18, 19 of the first handle sections 16, 17 and with connecting recesses 33, 34 of the connecting section 12. The second grip sections 29, 30 have flaps 35, 36 articulated on creasing lines on opposite longitudinal sides, the free edges of which are trapezoidal in relation to their articulations. The flaps 35, 36 are each with two circular punchings 37, 38 provided for the bottle necks to be used.

When assembling the blank to form a flat container carrier, the parts of the blank are folded to the left of the remaining part to the left of the crease lines between the end wall halves 7, 9 and the longitudinal web sections 14, 15. Furthermore, the parts to the left of the crease lines between the end wall halves 6, 8 and the longitudinal walls 1, 2 are folded to the right onto the middle part of the blank. In this case, the second handle sections 29, 30 are connected to the parts of the first handle sections 16, 17 and the connecting section 12 folded over them by applying glue. In addition, the crossbar connecting tabs 25, 26 are glued centrally to the opposite inner sides of the longitudinal walls 1, 2.

The prefabricated carrier is erected before filling with bottles, as shown in FIG. 2. Then the flaps 35, 36 rest on the longitudinal web and expose the bottom halves 3, 4 of an opening for filling the bottles.

In the next operation according to FIG. 3, the carrier with its bottom opening is placed on four ready-made bottles 39 pushed, the flaps 36 are angled to the handle portions 30 so that the bottle necks 40 can be inserted.

As shown in FIG. 4, the bottle carrier is finally closed by gluing the shorter bottom half 3 to the folded-over bottom flaps 21, 22 and the longer bottom half 4 by gluing to the shorter bottom half 3 in the overlap area. In the packed container carrier, the flaps 35, 36 are angled approximately at right angles to the handle sections 29, 30. Since the punched-out portions 37, 38 rest on the conical bottle neck 40, the bottles 39 are held practically immovably in the carrier.

For removing the bottles 39, e.g. the flaps 35, 36 are torn or torn.
