Abstract

The nozzle arm has a jet head (10) with outlet apertures (10b), a cylindrical nozzle arm pipe (9) and a reversing valve (12). During the lengthwise movements of the nozzle arm (3), the reversing valve (22) connects a hose pipe (13), connected to the outlet of a heating device, with a rinsing water channel (10d) or a douching water channel (10g). When the nozzle arm (3) is moved out, rinsing water is fed through the rinsing water channel (10d) across the outer surface (10i) of the rinsing head (10), and thus the jet head (10) is cleaned. Shortly before the nozzle arm (3) is completely moved out, the rinsing flow is interrupted, and douching water is fed through the douching water channel (10g), likewise via the hose pipe (13), into the jet head (10). When the nozzle arm (3) is moved back, the douching flow is interrupted and subsequently the jet head (10) is cleaned with rinsing water until the resting position is reached. <IMAGE>
