Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a stringed instrument, in particular a bass or electric guitar, which has a compartment in its body for receiving the components of an electrical pickup and if necessary. Has reinforcement, the compartment being accessible via a cover which is detachably attached to the back of the body. (Preamble of claim 1). No satisfactory solutions have so far been found for the design of this subject for accommodating the electronic components. In known stringed instruments of this type, the aforementioned compartment was provided with a cover which was screwed to the body of the guitar by a large number of screws. Detaching and reattaching them was cumbersome. Also known from US Pat. No. 3,781,451 is a lid which is hinged to the instrument body and is to be held in the closed position by magnets. On the one hand, this lid is not completely removable. In addition, the magnetic holder can come loose in the case of jerky movements (e.g. during the game) and thus the lid can reach the open position.
In contrast, the object of the invention is to ensure with structurally simple means that the opening and closing of the compartment accommodating the electronic components is possible much more quickly and easily than in the prior art described above, but with an absolutely secure hold of the cover should be guaranteed during game operations.
The solution to this problem is first, starting from the preamble of
A preferred embodiment is the subject of

Fig. 2 zeigt hierzu schematisch den Deckel 7 in der verrasteten Haltestellung, in der er die elektronischen Bauteile 8 abdeckt.1 and 2 show in principle the
The design of the frame can be seen in more detail in FIGS. 3 to 8. It is L-shaped in cross section, the first, preferably
The second,
Fig. 9 shows the
All the features described and / or shown, as well as their combinations with one another, are essential to the invention.
