Abstract

The slay mechanism for a loom has a shaft (1) which is eccentric relative to the pivot axis (R), for the purpose of affording a partial compensation of mass with respect to the pivoting movement. Slay levers (3), which each have a clamp part, are fastened releasably on the shaft (1).
