Abstract

In order to improve racquet strokes executed in tennis, the invention calls for the end of the racquet handle to have a trumpet-shaped longitudinal cross-section with different concave surfaces and a large enclosed volume, thus providing optimum grip and support surfaces (owing to the raised concave surface) for the whole of the part of the hand lying against the end of the racquet handle. This enables the racquet-holding and racquet-stroke forces exerted by the whole of the edge of the hand lying against the end of the handle to be considerably improved. In addition, it is practically impossible for the hand to slip backwards off the end of the racquet handle.

Claims (4)

  3. Handle according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, on the handle, a gently rounded beaded edge adjoins the end-side profile of increasing cross-section.
  4. Handle according to one of Claims 1-3, characterized in that the handle is designed as a hollow body.
