Verfahren zum Aufruf eines Rundfunkprogrammes in Rundfunkempfangsgeräten, die Informationen nach dem Radio-Daten-System empfangen und verarbeiten können; die über nichtflüchtige Speicher zum Ablegen von Daten, welche das Programm und RDS-Daten betreffen, verfügen; die über einen Arbeitsspeicher verfügen, in den bei einem Programmaufruf die zum Programm gehörenden Daten aus dem nichtflüchtigen Speicher übertragen werden; bei denen bei einem Programmaufruf die im Arbeitsspeicher abgelegten alternativen Frequenzen auf Empfangsqualtität geprüft und bewertet werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß beim Einstellen einer der aus dem Arbeitspeicher abgerufenen Empfangsfrequenzen in der nachstehenden Rangfolge verfahren wird: a) Diejenige Frequenz mit der besten Empfangsqualität wird eingestellt, die den gewünschten Programmidentifikationscode hat, der aus dem Programmspeicher zuvor übernommen wurde. b) Die Frequenz mit der besten Empfangsqualität wird eingestellt, deren Programmidentifikationscode sich nur in der zweiten Stelle unterscheidet, wenn im Schritt a) bei keiner der im Arbeitsspeicher abgelegten Frequenzen, deren Empfangsqualität ausreichend ist, der gewünschte Programmidentifikationscode erkannt wurde. c) Die Frequenz mit der besten HF-Empfangsqualität und mit auf Vorhandensein erkanntem RDS-Signal, jedoch zunächst ohne Programmidentifikation,bleibt für eine vorgegebene Zeit eingestellt, wenn im Schritt a) und b) bei keiner überprüften Frequenz ein identischer oder nur in der zweiten Stelle unterschiedlicher Programmidentifikationscode erkannt wurde. d) Nach der vorgegebenen Zeit wird ein Suchlauf nach der gewünschten Programmkette gestartet, wenn im Schritt c) während der vorgegebenen Zeit keine Programmidentifikation möglich war.
